Young Guns Tag Team Tournament Semi-Finals: #1: Leaders Of The New School(Rebel Wrestling International's Zack Sabre Jr. & Rebels Of Honor's Marty Scurll) beat #4: Men Of The Year(ROH's Michael Elgin & RWI's Ethan Page) when ZSJ submitted Page with YOUNG BOY KILLER. The British team advances to the Young Guns Tag Team Finals!
Gorilla Monsoon pinned "Wild" Bull Curry w/Mr. Fuji with MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDE in a one-sided match. Monsoon said last week that he would teach Curry a lesson for attacking a cameraman backstage. School was in session this week, and "Professor" Monsoon gave Curry the thrashing he deserved!

They beat World Tag Team Champions Road Warriors in a Non-Title Match last week, and now they're issuing an open challenge to all former World Tag Team Champions to face them in the coming weeks. Valentine interrupted Race's interview with Bill Apter last week claiming he deserved a title shot. He would've earned one with a win tonight, but Race easily dismantled & defeated Valentine!
A bloody Bruiser Brody pinned a heavily bleeding World Champion Buddy Rogers w/J.J. Dillon with JUMPING KNEEDROP to win the title in a back and forth match. It looked like Rogers would steal a win when Dillon rang the timekeeper's bell to break the referee's count, and Rogers took advantage of the situation to lock Brody in FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE. Brody broke the hold and went on to win the match and become a 4-time World Champion! Stan Hansen, Big Van Vader, and Miracle Violence Connection(Terry Gordy & Steve Williams) came out to congratulate Brody. He said, "Look at us! Gordon Solie interviewed Patterson after the match, but Roop's Hart Foundation allies Adrian Adonis & Manny Fernandez shove past Solie! Patterson tells them to show some respect, and they attack him! Dan Severn & Don Curtis come out to help Patterson, and security breaks up the brawl. Teddy Long makes a Six-Man Tag Team Main Event for next week!

Mildred Burke submitted Ida Mae Martinez with crooked head scissors. Gordon Solie interviews Burke after the match. Burke challenges Dixie Divas Champion Leilani Kai to a title match next week, and Kai comes out and accepts the challenge!
Tugboat & Chaz Taylor beat Baron Von Raschke & Fritz Von Goering w/Eddie Gilbert when Chaz pinned Von Goering with CHAZTISER. The Taylors busted open both Von Raschke & Von Goering, and the German team was bleeding heavily by the end of the match!
Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan are at their backstage Gorilla Position commenting on the action when they cut to a promo by Jimmy Hart's Hart Foundation who will appear in tonight's Main Event. Bob Roop, Adrian Adonis & Manny Fernandez say they'll wipe the mat with their opponents--Thunderbolt Patterson, Dan Severn & Don Curtis. Hart says their opponents will have a...Hart Attack!
Vintage Rules Championship Tournament Quarter-Finals: #1: Frank Gotch submitted #8: Rod Fenton with GOTCH TOEHOLD. "Lightning" Rod almost got a count-out win when he landed on top of Gotch as they fell out of the ring. Gotch was able to get back in the ring and make a comeback. He applied GOTCH TOEHOLD, and Fenton quickly tapped out!
Bad Boys(D'Lo Brown & Redd Dogg) & Heavenly Bodies(Tom Prichard & Chris Candido)w/Jim Cornette beat Extreme Rockers(Mikey Whipwreck & Marty Jannetty) & Rock 'n' Soul Connection(Ric McCord & Koko B. Ware) when Redd Dogg submitted Whipwreck with BLACKOUT. Cornette's team got several near-falls on McCord & Ware, but Whipwreck made the hot tag and acme in like a house afire! Redd Dogg put out the fire with BLACKOUT to make Whipwreck pass out in a dominant win for Jim Cornette Promotions!

Hart's team started on offense when Roop smashed Curtis into the ringpost during Gary Michael Cappetta's introductions. Hart later hit Severn with the megaphone in an attempt to steal a win, but it didn't work. The winners were celebrating when the sound of bagpipes filled the arena. Hart Foundation member Roddy Piper came out and challenged Patterson to a match next week. Patterson quickly accepted!

Don Muraco w/Mr. Fuji pinned a heavily bleeding Jimmy Snuka w/Lou Albano with HAWAIIAN HAMMER. Muraco was in complete control after the pre-match sneak attack. Muraco repeatedly used Asiatic Spike to weaken "Superfly" before finally finishing him off with HAWAIIAN HAMMER!
National Tag Team Champions Tully Blanchard & TV Champion Larry Zbyszko w/J.J. Dillon beat American Males(Marcus Bagwell & Scotty Riggs) when Blanchard pinned a bloody Bagwell with SLINGSHOT SUPLEX. As the Horsemen were celebrating, British Bulldogs came out and challenged them to a match. Dillon said that since Zbyszko has TV Title defenses lined up, he'd have to take their request under advisement and get back to them!
Bill Apter's Press Conference: Apter interviews Bobo Brazil who says he wants to win the National Championship. Brazil says he'll beat whatever top contenders that Teddy Long puts in front of him. Then, he'll take the National Title away from Barry Windham and away from the Four Horsemen!

Northeast-Southwest Connection(Adrian Adonis & Manny Fernandez)w/Jimmy Hart beat Dan Severn & Don Curtis when Adonis submitted Curtis with GOODNIGHT IRENE. Hart sang a lullaby through his megaphone as Curtis was passing out from Adonis' sleeper hold--just like he did to Thunderbolt Patterson! Then Hart challenged Patterson, Severn & Curtis to find a partner for an 8-Man Tag Team Elimination Match against Hart Foundation(Roddy Piper, Bob Roop & Northeast-Southwest Connection) next week!
Vintage Rules Championship Tournament Quarter-Finals: #4: George Hackenschmidt pined a heavily bleeding #5: Ed "Strangler" Lewis with RUSSIAN BEAR HUG. The "Russian Lion" locked on his Bear Hug, but the bloody Lewis refused to submit. Hackenschmidt then lifted Lewis high into the air and dropped him to the mat while holding on to the Bear Hug for the pin. Soul Sistas(Melina & Jazz)w/Jim Cornette beat Femme Fatales(Toni Rose & Beverly Shade) when Jazz pinned Rose after Cornette threw powder in Rose's eyes. This was a back and forth match that could have went either way. Rose had Jazz pinned with NECKBREAKER, but Melina distracted the referee so Cornette could interfere to help Jazz!
Bobo Brazil w/Dr. Mike Lano beat a bloody Curt Hennig w/Bobby Heenan by disqualification. Brazil won a battle of exchanging punches during Gary Michael Cappetta's introductions before busting open Hennig with repeated COCO BUTTS. Hennig later threw Brazil out of the ring and got disqualified for a back suplex on the announce table. Hennig & Heenan walk towards the back where they met National Champion Barry Windham & J.J. Dillon. They smiled because this was a set-up to try to take Brazil out of National Title contention!
Bob Orton & Bob Orton Jr. w/Mr. Fuji beat Scott Casey & Sam Houston when a heavily bleeding Orton Jr. pinned Casey with SUPERPLEX. This was a back and forth match, but the father & son duo pull out a hard fought victory!

As a result, Vachons earn a title shot against Hardcore Tag Team Champions Executioners(Ox Baker & Killer Kowalski) in next week's Main Event!
Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan are at their backstage Gorilla Position commenting on the action. Monsoon's in his ring gear because he's competing later tonight. The "Nebraska Tiger Man" applied scissors & wristlock to the "Golden Greek", but the referee ruled the headscissors was really a choke hold and disqualified Pesek! Londos is injured for 2 fight cards, but lucky for him, his Semi-Final Match is in 3 weeks!
Hart Foundation(Roddy Piper, Bob Roop & Northeast-Southwest Connection: Adrian Adonis & Manny Fernandez)w/Jimmy Hart beat Gorilla Monsoon, Thunderbolt Patterson, Dan Severn & Don Curtis when a bloody Adonis submitted a bloody Severn with GOODNIGHT IRENE. Severn had Adonis locked in ARMBAR, but Hart reached through the ropes to smash Severn with the megaphone! Adonis grabbed the nearly unconscious Severn with GOODNIGHT IRENE sleeper hold to put "The Beast" to sleep!
Steve Williams w/Terry Gordy pinned Ted DiBiase w/Virgil with SMASH WITH GLOVE in a Coal Miner's Glove Match. DiBiase took the glove first and smashed Williams who kicked out of the pin attempt. Williams took the glove away and smashed DiBiase for the 3-count! Gordon Solie interviews Williams after the match. Williams & Gordy challenge DiBiase & Virgil to a tag team match next week. DiBiase comes to his senses and accepts. Solie says, "We're out of time. We'll see you next week!".
