Hey topdollar ! Although Lou Thesz holds the unified World Title...this is without a doubt Bruiser Brody's fed... Keep up all things Rebellious my brother, this community wouldn't be the same without it! Glad you like my little ol' fed, Bri . Big changes are coming after I wrap up Year 2 thanks to "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase(and maybe a certain Damn Yankee promoter?)! I plan on splitting up this one big Rebel Wrestling fed into smaller "territories". That way I can divide the large roster into several smaller ones. I'm just not sure how I want to go about it yet. I'm thinking about Rebel Wrestling Southwest, Southeast, Mid-South, Mid-Atlantic, etc.--each with their own show. Then at the end of the week, they could face each other on an all-star Saturday Night Special. I've also thought about scrapping this altogether for a "network" that would show various feds based on WWF, NWA, AWA, ECW, etc. I'd welcome any thoughts you or other promoters may have on how to do this. Do I have more than one "territory" on this thread, or do I scrap it and start a new thread called Rebel Wrestling Network(I plan on ending my Indy fed of that name after I finish RWN Year 1) or possibly Legends Wrestling Network(then I could also have Indy Wrestling Network if I want). I'd appreciate any & all feedback promoters may have--especially those who have run multiple smaller feds under the banner of one large fed.

Although I don't run anything similar to this though, but in keeping with the motif you've got going here - what if you had all territories stay within this thread, but with the "Northern" shows/territories on one post & the "Southern" shows/territories on the other? Then rinse & repeat? That's all I got rockstar!

Was just thinking abut Richards the other day. Nice win by the Fabs. Thanks for reading & commenting, TTX ! I haven't used the Progressive Liberal in a while. When I realized that both George South & Jackie Fargo were from Charlotte, I thought it might be a good time to bring him back. Glad you enjoyed it!

Rebel Wrestling Saturday 52--Raleigh, North Carolina
The show opens with Gordon Solie & Lance Russell in the ring with "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase w/Virgil. DiBiase bought Rebel Wrestling Network from the Southern Confederation Of Promoters who own Rebel Wrestling, and he shut down the independent promotions & TV shows of RWN: Rebel Wrestling International Monday Night Mayhem & No Limits Tuesday, Rebel Warriors Next Gen Wednesday, and Rebels Of Honor Thursday Night Action & Future Of Honor Friday. DiBiase says RWN is more than just the independent shows. He says RWN includes the entire week of wrestling TV shows on Superstation WTBS including Rebel Wrestling Saturday Nigh Special & Sunday Superstar Wars. This means that Ted DiBiase now owns Rebel Wrestling! He successfully prevented the hostile takeover by that Damn Yankee Promoter from New York by buying Rebel Wrestling himself! The Southern Confederation Of Promoters never saw this takeover coming when DiBiase bought Rebel Wrestling Network from them. They thought they were just selling the RWN indies shows!
Frank Gotch submitted Jim Londos with GOTCH TOEHOLD in a Vintage Rules Match. After the match, Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge comes out. Hodge says it would be an honor to defend his title at Carolina Combat against one of the greatest wrestlers to lace up a pair of boots. Both teams looked impressive, but Quebecers earned a back and forth win over Major Players!

Fabulous Moolah w/Bobby Heenan pinned Jazz with BODY PRESS. Fabulous Moolah w/Bobby Heenan pinned Sherri Martel with JACKKNIFE CRADLE. Moolah beat all 3 opponents to become #1 Contender to Dixie Divas Champion Mildred Burke. Moolah will try to regain the Dixie Divas Title from her rival Burke tomorrow night on pay-per-view at Carolina Combat!
Executioners(Ox Baker & Killer Kowalski)w/Paul Ellering beat Yukon Eric & Don Leo Jonathan in a Hardcore Match when Baker pinned Jonathan with HEART PUNCH. The Executioners slayed the giants in a one-sided match. After the match, Ellering demanded that Jimmy Hart give Executioners a rematch with Moondogs for the Hardcore Tag Team Titles. Hart came out with Hardcore Tag Team Champions Rex & Spot to decline the challenge. Teddy Long came out and told Hart that not only will Moondogs defend the Hardcore Tag Team Titles vs. Baker & Kowalski at Carolina Combat, it will be a 3-on-2 handicap Match: Moondogs & Hart vs. Executioners! Holla, holla, holla, playas!
Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan are at their backstage Gorilla Position commenting on the action when they go to their broadcast colleague Bill Apter standing by with a special guest: "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith w/Captain Lou Albano!
Bill Apter's Press Conference: Lou Albano tells Apter that in addition to teaming up with Dynamite Kid in Rebel Wrestling, Davey Boy Smith has also been competing in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for Rebel Wrestling International. Now, Smith wants to try his luck at singles competition here in Rebel Wrestling. At that point, Hardcore Champion Abdullah The Butcher w/Bobby Heenan come out. Heenan says Abdullah has an open contract, but everyone in Rebel Wrestling is too scared to sign it. Heenan hands the contract to Albano and says that if Smith wants a singles match, he can have a Hardcore Title Match vs, Abdullah at Carolina Combat. Albano looks at the contract and hands it to Smith who signs it!
Ted DiBiase invited ten men from Rebel Wrestling International to compete in a Battle Royal. Winner gets a contract with Rebel Wrestling!

He celebrates by handing out police badges to young fans at ringside!

Fabulous Ones(Steve Keirn & Stan Lane)w/Jackie Fargo beat Rock 'n' Roll Express(Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) with DOUBLE DDT on a bloody Gibson. As a result, Fabs join National Tag Team Champions Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens and Original Midnight Express in a 3-Way Elimination Match at Carolina Combat!
Billy Wicks beat Sputnik Monroe in a 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Match. Wicks won 2 straight falls by submitting Monroe with DOUBLE WRISTLOCK both times. They fought back and forth, but Wicks got the better of his long-time rival!
Main Event Mafia(Randy Savage & Kurt Angle)w/Angelo Poffo, Mr. Hughes & Dixie Divas Champion Mildred Burke beat Cauliflower Alley Club(World & Vintage Rules Champion Lou Thesz & National Champion Bobo Brazil)w/Dr. Mike Lano when Savage pinned Brazil with FLYING ELBOW SMASH. MEM beats CAC in a back and forth match. At Carolina Combat, Thesz defends the World Title against Savage in a Vintage Rules Match while Brazil defends the National Title against Angle & Barry Windham in a 3-Way Elimination Match. Savage grabs a mic and says, ""Lou Thesz, you can defend the World Title under Vintage Ruloes if you want to. But when I beat you to win the World Title, you can keep the Vintage Title. I don't want it. I only want the World Title. OH Yeah!".
Ted DiBiase w/Virgil comes out. The "Million Dollar Man" says, "Hey, Randy! I can make that stipulation official. This concludes Year 2 of Rebel Wrestling Saturday Night Special. Will the show continue in Year 3? Will Rebel Wrestling even continue in Year 3? I promise big changes are coming soon. It's the end of Rebel Wrestling as we know it, and I feel fine! Ha-Ha-ha-ha! Ha-ha-ha-ha! Ha-Ha-ha-ha!".
