NON-TELEVISED OPENING MATCHES 1: American Males(Marcus Alexander Bagwell & Scotty Riggs) beat Mulkey Brothers(Bill & Randy Mulkey) when Bagwell pinned Bill Mulkey with YELLOWJACKET SUPLEX. Mulkeys almost pulled off the upset! They double teamed Riggs to get a few near-falls before Bagwell tagged in. They held their own with Bagwell, but he pulled out the win with YELLOWJACKET SUPLEX. 2: Brisco Brothers(Jack & Jerry Brisco) beat Kernodle Brothers(Don & Rocky Kernodle) when Jerry Brisco pinned Don Kernodle with Oklahoma Side Roll in a one-sided match where Don Kernodle couldn't tag out. 3: Rockin' Robin beat Joyce Grable and Susan Green in a 3-Way Match when Robin pinned Green with TOP ROPE FLYING BULLDOG. 4: Missouri Central States Champion Harley Race & Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge beat Bob & Brad Armstrong when Race pinned Bob Armstrong with PILEDRIVER in a hard-fought back and forth match.

Gordon Solie & Jim Cornette welcome viewers to Mayhem! Our Main Event is National Champion Big Van Vader & Sgt. Slaughter vs. Buddy Rogers & Barry Windham in a Tag Team Elimination Match. Also: National Tag Team Champions Rock 'n' Roll Express vs. Ted DiBiase & Manny Fernandez. But first, Gordon interviews Larry Zbyszko about his upcoming match with Ranger Ross. Zbyszko says he'll make Ross wish he was back in the Army jumping out of airplanes!
1: Ranger Ross--2 fatigue vs. Larry Zbyszko--5 fatigue w/J.J. Dillon: Ross got a few near-falls before he busted open Zbyszko with COMBAT KICK. Dillon distracted the referee to break up the pin. Ross hit a top rope crossbody block, but Dillon's interference saved Zbyszko again. Ross hit another COMBAT KICK to pin the "Living Legend" 1-2-3 as fans cheered! After the match, Ross said, "You were right, Zbyszko. I haven't had an adrenaline rush like this since I was an Army paratrooper!" What an upset! WINNER: Ranger Ross
2: Young Guns(Sam Houston--7 fatigue & Ric McCord--1 fatigue) vs. Varsity Club(Mike Rotunda--0 fatigue & Steve Williams--0 fatigue): Rotunda made Houston bleed with BUTTERFLY SUPLEX. Varsity Club double teamed Houston to make the bleeding worse. Rotunda finally put Houston away with BUTTERFLY SUPLEX! WINNER: Varsity Club
3: The Patriot--0 fatigue vs. "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff--0 fatigue: Koloff entered the ring and grabbed ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta by the collar. While Koloff was threatening Cappetta, Patriot saved the day and attacked Koloff! Patriot hit standing dropkick & UNCLE SLAM to get a quick win. Suddenly, two Japanese men attacked Patriot! Gordon Solie & Jim Cornette recognize them as Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito, but Davey Boy Smith rushes to the ring and a wild brawl erupts! It takes the entire security force to break it up, and Teddy Long books Patriot & Smith vs. Fuji & Saito next week! WINNER: The Patriot
4: Legion Of Doom(2 Cold Scorpio--2 fatigue & Road Warriors: Hawk--1 fatigue & Animal--0 fatigue)w/Paul Ellering vs. Mr. Hughes--0 fatigue & Midnight Express(Bobby Eaton--0 fatigue & Stan Lane--2 fatigue)w/Jim Cornette: Cornette leaves the announce table to join his team at ringside. They fought back and forth until Hawk pinned lane after DOOMSDAY DEVICE with Animal. Animal & Scorpio stopped Eaton & Hughes from making the save, and a disappointed Cornette returned to the announce table. Gordon Solie interviewed Road Warriors after the match, and they say they'll regain the World Tag Team Titles from Fabulous Kangaroos at Southern Sin. Gordon says tickets are sold out, so you'll have to watch it on pay-per-view! WINNER: Legion Of Doom
Bill Apter's Press Conference: Apter interviews Johnny Valentine who was injured by Jack Brisco in an Alley Fight last week. Valentine says, "If Brisco wants us to fight like a couple of alley dogs, I challenge him to a Dog Collar Match next week!". Brisco interrupts the interview and accepts the challenge!
5: "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith--0 fatigue vs. Blackjack Mulligan--1 fatigue vs. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine--0 fatigue in a 3-Way Elimination Match: Valentine submitted Mulligan with FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Smith pinned Valentine with a cobra clutch suplex. Smith grabbed a mic and said, "Fuji & Saito! Next week, you'll face the Allied Powers, and we'll send you right back to Japan!". WINNER: "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith
6: National Tag Team Champions Rock 'n' Roll Express(Ricky Morton--0 fatigue & Robert Gibson--0 fatigue) vs. Ted DiBiase--0 fatigue & Manny Fernandez--5 fatigue: Rock 'n' Rolls busted open Fernandez with DOUBLE DROPKICK, but DiBiase broke up the pin attempt. Morton later pinned Fernandez with CROSSBODY BLOCK. As Rock 'n' Rolls were celebrating their win with some of their young female fans at ringside, Jim Cornette stood up at the announce table and grabbed the house mic. He said, "You two punks enjoy it while it lasts because the Midnight Express get their rematch for the National Tag Team Titles next week...in a Scaffold Match! 7: Magnum T.A.--0 fatigue vs. Tully Blanchard--1 fatigue (Special Referee Morgan Dollar): Dollar is worried about potential outside interference, so he ejects Blanchard's manager J.J. Dillon from ringside! Without Dillon around, Magnum easily put Blanchard down for the 3-count with BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX. Dillon came back out and challenged Magnum to face Blanchard in an I Quit Match next week. Magnum quickly accepted as fans cheered! WINNER: Magnum T.A.
8: National Champion Big Van Vader--3 fatigue w/Paul Ellering & Sgt. Slaughter--2 fatigue vs. Buddy Rogers--0 fatigue & Barry Windham--2 fatigue w/J.J. Dillon in a Tag Team Elimination Match: Windham pinned Slaughter with LARIAT. Vader threw Windham into the ropes and tried a sunset flip, but Windham grabbed Vader's legs and rolled him into a pinning combination for the 3-count. Windham pinned both #1 Contender Slaughter 7 National Champion Vader to win the Tag Team Elimination Match! Rogers & Windham celebrated their win when Teddy Long came out to announce next week's National Title Match: Vader vs. former champ Rogers vs. Slaughter vs. Windham in a Fatal Four Way Match! NON-TELEVISED OPENING MATCHES 1: Virgil w/"Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase pinned George South with RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP in a very short match. 2: "Macho Man" Randy Savage & Angelo Poffo beat "Birdman" Koko B. Ware & Johnny Rodz when Savage pinned Ware with FLYING ELBOW SMASH. Ware & Rodz had their way with Savage early in the match. He was able to tag his father who took charge, and Savage & Poffo earn a hard-fought victory that could have went either way. 3: Tina Moretti beat Nora Greenwald and Fabulous Moolah in a 3-Way Match when Moretti pinned Greenwald with JUMPING FACEBUSTER. Moolah was knocked into the ringpost to start the match and wasn't a factor. 4: United States Champion Iron Sheik submitted George "The Animal" Steele w/Lou Albano with CAMEL CLUTCH in a Non-Title Match. This was a one-sided match as Sheik dominated from bell-to-bell.

Up first is a man making his Rebel Wrestling debut in a match that Monsoon says would be a Main Event anywhere in the country!
1: S.D. Jones--2 fatigue vs. "Leaping" Lanny Poffo--5 fatigue w/Angelo Poffo & Randy Savage: Lanny Poffo was in control early in the match, but Jones made a comeback. He drew blood before hitting HEADBUTT. Angelo Poffo jumped on the ring apron, but Jones chased him around the ringside area and got counted out. Then, Jones challenged Angelo Poffo to a match next week, and he accepted! WINNER: "Leaping" Lanny Poffo by count-out
2: Bob Backlund--0 fatigue, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan--3 fatigue & U.S. Express(Mike Rotundo--0 fatigue & Barry Windham--4 fatigue)w/Arnold Skaaland vs. "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase--1 fatigue, King Kong Bundy--2 fatigue & The Quebecers(Jacques Rougeau--1 fatigue & Pierre Carl Oullett--3 fatigue)w/Virgil: Before the match, it was announced that Backlund, Duggan & U.S. Express will all be managed by legendary wrestling manager & strategist Skaaland. Jim saved the day by attacking Busick and whipping him from pillar to post before making him submit to BEAR HUG as fans cheered! WINNER: Hillbilly Jim

After the match, Angle called out his rival "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Angle & Savage face World Champion Bruiser Brody in a 3-Way Elimination Steel Cage Match at Southern Sin next weekend. Angle proposes "Pick Your Poison" matches on next week's Tuesday Night Titans where Angle & Savage will pick each other's opponents. Savage responds by saying, "Ohhh Yeahhh!". WINNER: Kurt Angle

2: Les Thatcher--3 fatigue & Brian Blair--0 fatigue vs. Brickhouse Brown--3 fatigue & Thunderbolt Patterson--0 fatigue: Thatcher leaves the announce table to join Blair in the ring for this match. They fought back and forth until Patterson pinned Thatcher with HEADBUTT. Blair helped Thatcher return to the announce table when "Progressive Liberal" Daniel Richards came out and said, "Losers! 7: Tracy Smothers--3 fatigue vs. Sputnik Monroe--0 fatigue: Smothers pinned Monroe's partner Bob Roop last week. Then, Smothers injured Roop after the bell. Now, Monroe wants revenge as he attacked Smothers from bell-to-bell before finally pinning him with NECKBREAKER. After the match, Roop came out and challenged Smothers to a Coal Miner's Glove Match next week, and Smothers quickly accepted the challenge! WINNER: Sputnik Monroe
8: Stud Stable(Continental Champion Austin Idol--4 fatigue & Continental Tag Team Champions Original Midnight Express: Dennis Condrey--2 fatigue & Randy Rose--3 fatigue) vs. First Family("Exotic" Adrian Street--3 fatigue & Moondogs: Rex--3 fatigue & Spot--1 fatigue)w/Jimmy Hart in a Six-Man Tag Team Penalty Box Match: Both Moondogs & Hart all spent time in the Penalty Box. In fact, both Rex & Spot were in the Penalty Box at the same time for using SMASH WITH BONE. Trooper won an outside the ring brawl to start the match. They entered the ring, but Trooper quickly threw Hennig out of the ring and gave chase. Heenan says there's no dissension--as long as Stevens knows his place. Bockwinkel says the Family's top wrestler is the champ--and he's the champ. Stevens says he could be champ--if Bockwinkel gave him a title shot. Bockwinkel says Stevens doesn't deserve it, and Heenan says Family doesn't wrestle Family. Riddle told Lance Russell, "The Baron's no pushover, but Brody made beating him look easy. DDP informs everyone that "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters of Diamond Xchange has retired! Masters was working out after hours in DDP's gym earlier in the week when he was viciously assaulted. DDP shows video from the gym's security camera. U+It shows Masters lifting weights when he's attacked from behind by two masked men in black. They brutally assault Masters with crowbars before using the bloody crowbars to write VIP all over the gym as the video ends. DDP says that he'll make those masked cowards pay for their actions before he joins Lano at the announce table!
1: Fit Finlay--5 fatigue & David Taylor--7 fatigue vs. Wild Bulls("Wild" Bull Curry--2 fatigue & Pampero Firpo--1 fatigue): Finlay injured both Curry & Firpo in Barbed Wire Baseball Bat Matches, and now they want payback! Bill Apter's Press Conference: Apter interviews Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito who will be competing in Rebel Wrestling Southeast as Orient Express. Saito was in Rebel Wrestling during Year 1, but he returned to Japan where he formed a very successful team with Fuji. Apter presents them with an award for being the best tag team in Japan for the past year. Fuji & Saito accept their award and hold it up for all the fans to see as the fans booed and chanted, "U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!".
5: Big John Studd--0 fatigue vs. Angelo "King Kong" Mosca--1 fatigue vs. Eric The Red--0 fatigue in a 3-Way Elimination Match: These wrestlers will all be part of the Super-Heavyweight Battle Royal at Southern Sin! Studd has been signed by Northeast promoters, Mosca makes his Rebel Wrestling return for Mid-South, while Eric represents Southwest in his debut tonight. Studd submitted both Mosca & Eric with BACKBREAKER for the win! WINNER: Big John Studd
Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby Heenan are in the studio commenting about how impressive Big John Studd looked. Monsoon announces that the Rebel Wrestling Board Of Directors have signed Andre The Giant to a Special Attraction contract. That means promoters from any territory can bring in the "Eighth Wonder Of The World" for their shows. Heenan says Andre better stay out of the Northeast or else Studd will show him who the best giant in wrestling really is! Heenan says that even though he's managing in Mid-South, he has big plans in the Northeast where he & Monsoon are commentators. Monsoon interrupts Heenan to show a video of them at Harley Race's house for a barbecue. Race is grilling hamburgers & hot dogs for his guests which includes Frank Gotch. Gotch offers his own special brand of barbecue sauce to Monsoon who declines. Heenan grabs the bottle and squirts it all over a hamburger & hot dog. Heenan takes a bite out of both...then he runs around the yard looking for a cold drink, and he knocks the grill over! Monsoon asks Gotch what he calls his barbecue sauce. Gotch says, "Frank's Red Hot Sauce. I put that (bleep) on everything!". Heenan pours an ice bucket on his head as the video ends!

Eric lost a Lumberjack Match to "Lightning" Rod Fenton last week when Kowalski knocked out Eric with a chair. Eric woke up and saw Kowalski laughing at him, so Eric challenged Kowalaski to a Stretcher Match this week! Kowalski repeatedly hit Bombs Away and applied KOWALSKI CLAW multiple times to make Eric bleed. They brawled outside the ring, and Kowalski delivered a brutal beating using steel chairs, the announce table, garbage cans, and anything else he could get his hands on. Eric was knocked out when Kowalski put him on the stretcher. Berry returned to the announce table to brag about the win as Eric is taken out of the arena on the stretcher and is injured for 2 fight cards! WINNER: Killer Kowalski
7: Vintage Tag Team Champions Golden Greeks(Jim Londos--6 fatigue & George Tragos--8 fatigue) vs. Dan Severn--0 fatigue & Ken Shamrock--2 fatigue in an Ultimate Fight Match: Greeks won the Vintage Tag Team Titles last week from Antonino Rocca & Pepper Gomez when Tragos submitted a heavily bleeding Rocca with ARMLOCK & SCISSORS that injured him for 1 fight card. Now, Greeks make their first title defense in the Ultimate Fight Cage against former Ultimate Fighters Severn & Shamrock. The only way to win is knockout or submission! Severn & Shamrock had their way with Londos & Tragos in the Ultimate Fight cage. Both Golden Greeks were heavily bleeding when Shamrock submitted Tragos with ANKLELOCK to win the titles for Inoki Fight Club! 8: Vintage Champion Lou Thesz--6 fatigue vs. Antonio Inoki--1 fatigue in an M.M.A. Challenge Match: Thesz defends the Vintage Title against Mixed Martial Arts pioneer Inoki inside the M.M.A. Challenge Cage where the match is won by pin or submission! Thesz & Inoki bowed to each other to start the match. Inoki drew blood with OCTOPUS HOLD, and he stayed on the attack until Thesz was heavily bleeding. It looked like Inoki would put Thesz to sleep with sleeper, but Thesz broke out of the hold and countered it with GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP for a near-fall. Thesz' comeback didn't last long as Inoki hit ENZUIGIRI to pin Thesz for the 1-2-3. After the match, Thesz shook Inoki's hand. Then, Vintage Tag Team Champions Dan Severn & Ken Shamrock came out to congratulate the leader of Inoki Fight Club as IFC proudly shows of their newly-won championship belts! 5: Allied Powers(The Patriot--1 fatigue & Davey Boy Smith----4 fatigue) vs. Orient Express(Mr. Fuji--0 fatigue & Mr. Saito--4 fatigue)W/Ivan Koloff: Patriot got a quick win over Koloff last week, but Fuji & Saito attacked Patriot after the match. Smith came out to help Patriot, and Teddy Long made this match. Koloff & Saito teamed up in Year 1 of Rebel Wrestling, but Saito returned to Japan to team with Fuji. Now, they're both here siding with Koloff! Smith made Saito bleed with RUNNING POWERSLAM, and Saito busted open Smith with SAITO SUPLEX. Saito went on to pin the "British Bulldog" with another SAITO SUPLEX as fans booed the Orient Express! WINNER: Orient Express
6: Jack Brisco--3 fatigue vs. Johnny Valentine--0 fatigue in a Dog Collar Match: Brisco beat Valentine in an Alley Fight, but Valentine challenged Brisco to a Dog Collar Match! Valentine dominated the match from bell-to-bell. Valentine hung Brisco over the top rope and hung him by his neck with the dog collar. Then, Valentine whipped Brisco across the ring buy the throat. Valentine finally pinned Brisco with big chop to chest! WINNER: Johnny Valentine
7: National Tag Team Champions Rock 'n' Roll Express(Ricky Morton--0 fatigue & Robert Gibson--0 fatigue) vs. Midnight Express(Bobby Eaton--3 fatigue & Stan Lane--3 fatigue) in a Scaffold Match: Jim Cornette stays at the announce table with his bodyguard Mr. Hughes standing by his side because the manager can't be at ringside when the teams are 25 feet above the ring on a scaffold! Rock 'n' Rolls were in control of the match, and there were times it looked like one of the Midnights would fall off the scaffold. In the end, Midnights hit FLAPJACK to send Gibson plummeting off the scaffold to the mat below! Cornette jumps up and down in celebration as his team re-gains the Southeast National Tag Team Titles and are now 2-time champions! Dillon in a Fatal Four Way Match: Dillon paces back and forth between the corners of Windham who is fighting Vader and Rogers who is fighting Slaughter. Vader pinned Windham with MOONSAULT. Vader pinned Slaughter with RELEASED POWERBOMB. Rogers submitted Vader with FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE to re-gain the National Title. The "Nature Boy" is now a 2-time champion! Slaughter vs. Vader should be a good one Vader won by count-out the first time they met. I was disappointed that the main event ended in a count-out, so I had Rogers & Windham attack both of them.
Now that the Fatal Four way settled that dispute, I'm hoping for a better result this time. Rogers better watch out for whoever wins!
