Worst Wrestling Name Of All Time?

I was adding a new article to my wrestling newspaper article website today and noticed a name I hadn't heard before... Dick Blood. Now, I cringe at the thought of Dick Blood. No man wants Dick Blood. Dick Blood is definitely a scary thought but does that make it a good wrestling name? I tend to think not.

Was it really? I had no idea. I assumed it was someone who wasn't around for too long with a name like that. haha

He started his career as Rick (Richard) Blood in the AWA. I'm assuming that's him. Probably went from Dick to Rick. In a hurry.

Seems likely. And they never could decide how to spell LeDuc's first name.

I'm sure you're right. It makes sense now that I think about it. Still can't believe anyone thought it was a good idea to go by that particular name. Rick Blood would have been just fine.

Yeah, it's either Jos or Joe depending on who's promoting and who writes the given article.

Richard Blood is Steamboat's real name. I remember reading that some promoter used it for a wrestler's gimmick name with Steamboat's permission.

I also recall Tito Santana wrestled as Richard Blood briefly.

There was also a Richard Blood, who definitely wasn't Steamboat or Santana, working the lower card in World Class in 1982. Bill Mercer called him "Dick Blood" on commentary more than once.
