I was adding a new article to my wrestling newspaper article website today and noticed a name I hadn't heard before... Dick Blood. Now, I cringe at the thought of Dick Blood. No man wants Dick Blood. Dick Blood is definitely a scary thought but does that make it a good wrestling name? I tend to think not. Here's the link to the article on my site in case anyone wants to have a look for themselves. No other info is given and I'm not about to start googling "dick blood wrestling." classicwrestlingarticles.wordpress.com/2018/10/11/wrestling-set-saturday-night/Feel free to follow the site on Facebook, Twitter or just through Wordpress. I'm trying to do a lot better job getting new articles up there than I have over the past year or so. I always lean toward articles for LOW guys and gals as well so you may just learn something new and get some ideas for your feds.

That was the name Steamboat used early in his career, wasn't it? Yikes.

In a hurry.

Seems likely. And they never could decide how to spell LeDuc's first name.

Rick Blood would have been just fine.

Richard Blood is Steamboat's real name. I remember reading that some promoter used it for a wrestler's gimmick name with Steamboat's permission.

I also recall Tito Santana wrestled as Richard Blood briefly.

There was also a Richard Blood, who definitely wasn't Steamboat or Santana, working the lower card in World Class in 1982. Bill Mercer called him "Dick Blood" on commentary more than once.
