Anybody else here seen the new Halloween movie? If so, what did you think?
I saw Halloween tonight after getting back from California from attending PWG last night. A really good horror movie with lots of genuine suspense. Some apparent editing problems (the fate of more than one person was not revealed- unless I somehow missed it) and other minor issues, but overall the best Halloween sequel ever (although I did also like Halloween H20.)
B+

I'm going on Wednesday. The original is one of my all-time favorite movies so I am looking forward to seeing it especially with your B+ review.

Halloween is my favorite horror movie series. The original, Halloween 2, Halloween 4 and Rob Zomie's Halloween remake (2007) rank among my all time favorite horror films. Been watching them all month on AMC.

Halloween is my favorite horror movie series. The original, Halloween 2, Halloween 4 and Rob Zomie's Halloween remake (2007) rank among my all time favorite horror films. Been watching them all month on AMC. Right on, Halloween and Michael Myers set the stage for many slasher movies and horror movie villains that followed including the classic characters Jason Voorhees and Freddie Krueger. It has been many years since I have seen Halloween. I think I still have the original on VHS but no VHS player, so I might have to stop by the Best Buy on the way home from work this week and get the first Halloween on BLU-RAY.
