I know it’s quite a ways off, but is there a possibility that we are done getting EVOLVE cards, due to WWE’s influence w the company now? There might be one sets worth of talent left in the company, minus guys w the “E”.

Good question. I suppose it could depend on who might join or leave the company over the next handful of months until the next EVOLVE set would be set to be released. I don't recall, off the top of my head, when EVOLVE sets usually hit though...

I think around Wrestlemania time? Josh Briggs would be nice (even tho he doesn’t like me!) Not as many other names jump out like in the past. I would love a tougher Darby Allin card. Singles for the workhorsemen. The End I Guess (not around anymore I don’t think)? Janela update? The Sabat dude from FIP? The Skulk? Their roster is VERY thin right now.

I'm not sure if we'll see an Evolve 6 or not especially with the WWE exerting greater influence on the fed.

Around Galacticon time I remember someone said during the Q&A that they were no longer working with one of there regular promotions. The last few Evolve shows makes me think that they are the one.

Its a bit up in the air still if there will be an EVOLVE 6. There will be a spring Indie release whether it is EVOLVE or something else.

So with the purchase of Evolve I guess it's officially done for them getting sets?

I'd say that's a safe bet.

As someone who worked on EVOLVE sets 1 through 5, I know that a potential EVOLVE 6 set was never really discussed and I think that was for a number of factors. After EVOLVE 5, Indy sets (other than some more ROH sets) shifted to Best of themes. Also, after EVOLVE 5, later that year EVOLVE started working even more closely with the WWE (not sure if that would have complicated the possibility of another EVOLVE set anyway or not) to the extent that about half the wrestlers on EVOLVE shows were NXT wrestlers who we would not be able to use which would have made it harder to release another 8 card EVOLVE set.
But we were still able to sign EVOLVE wrestlers to the game and last year Josh Briggs, Anthony Greene (who along with Briggs was signed online shortly after the EVOLVE 10th Anniversary show appeared on the WWE Network,) and Curt Stallion were released in the Best of Indies men set 2019. Theoretically, if possible, a full EVOLVE set last year could have been made if along with Briggs, Greene, and Stallion guys such as the Skulk and Sean Maluta were included (along with a singles card for then EVOLVE Champion JD Drake who instead has a tag card because when his EVOLVE card was released all his matches in EVOLVE except 1 up to that point had been teaming with Anthony Henry.) But putting Briggs, Greene, and Stallion instead last year in an annual Best of set along with guys such as Mance Warner, "Filthy" Tom Lawlor, Brian Pillman Jr., and Robbie Eagles made for a stronger alternative set and I am glad that option was chosen.
One way I think the Best of themes is a better basis instead of specific Indy fed sets for Indy releases is because the Best of themes allow more flexibility for the rosters of each set. But I do wish we could put fed logos on the backs of Indy cards in general Best of sets as seeing those fed logos has helped convince some wrestlers such as PCO and RUSH to sign the release forms.
