So AEW, ROH and New Japan are in talks for a three way partnership...which would mean absolutely nothing changes. AEW basically being All In: The Promotion isn't going to be a sustainable business model but hey, it'll get guys paid. Probably won't be good for anyone but the Bucks and Cody in the long-term.

if that's the case, then yes, it will be a simple vanity project with Cody and the Bucks booking instead of the Lizard Man.

I saw that AEW has reportedly signed Britt Baker. They needed someone to wrestle some classics with Brandi.  No disrespect to Britt tho. |

Man everyone seems pretty pessimistic about AEW. Why can't people just be happy we are getting another company that provides wrestling for us to watch and a place for people to wrestle and make money.

because honestly.....it's just the same guys from ROH/New Japan in another fed probably. As well, same guys on top. If some new guys were going to be headlining there I think there would be more interest but we've seen Cody/Bucks/Daniels on top for years now.

If, as TTX put it, this is a vanity promotion for Cody and the Bucks, then I don’t have much interest in it. A group of guys booking themselves on top is too Kliq for me. We’ll see. |

What I don't understand is why everyone is being so jaded and jumping to conclusions about a fed that has just been announced a few days ago. I realize we've all seen a lot of wrestling over the years and some of us assume the worst but why can't we reserve judgement until AEW actually puts on a show. Then we can all decide whether to watch or not. Don't be so quick to dismiss things. You can miss out on a lot of great things in life that way.
