What I don't understand is why everyone is being so jaded and jumping to conclusions about a fed that has just been announced a few days ago. I realize we've all seen a lot of wrestling over the years and some of us assume the worst but why can't we reserve judgement until AEW actually puts on a show. Then we can all decide whether to watch or not. Don't be so quick to dismiss things. You can miss out on a lot of great things in life that way. Because it's a promotion that's likely to produce the exact kind of wrestling that I don't enjoy watching and I have no faith in the guys who are going to be producing the product based on what I know they consider good wrestling and what they allowed on All In. I'm happy for anyone who can join them in working some money marks out of a ton of cash, but don't hit me with the 'why can't people just be happy' shit when there's very little to be optimistic about especially if they do land the ROH/NJ working agreement. It'll just be the same shit ROH was but with a different color scheme. If they don't land it then it's gonna be a shittier version of what WCW intended nWo Saturday Night to be.

All In was the type of wrestling I like, with the exception of Scurll vs Okada which I wasnt a fan of. So for me I could see really enjoying AEW. We'll see what it becomes in a few months, but I'm optimistic.

I'm sorry Cody and the Young Bucks have ruined your life by starting a wrestling promotion. A possible solution to your clear displeasure with AEW is to ignore it. There are a lot of people who are excited about AEW and there is a very vocal minority who insist on telling everyone that they shouldn't be excited. I'm going to give it a chance and I don't know what we have to lose by doing that.

the roster is far from finalized and no TV deal yet. I worry about how their going to do the titles the first champions will likely set the tone. I want to see a least the first series of shows. the Elite all dropped their titles at Wrestle Kingdom 13 so their coming at this clean. ROH took a heavy hit with so many of them leaving. SCU, Bucks, Rhodes, Page, Omega (who was more NJPW) I think the money man is going to give them an oversite as he's shelling out a lot of cash for it just to be the Elite's playground. I will do.. WAIT AND SEE

I personally hope that AEW does work with ROH. It is giving me all types of ideas for my Ring of Vegas (ROV) fed that will return in early 2019.

I'm sorry Cody and the Young Bucks have ruined your life by starting a wrestling promotion. Yep. That's exactly what I said. A possible solution to your clear displeasure with AEW is to ignore it. A possible solution to your clear displeasure with people not being excited for the BC vanity fed as you are is to ignore it as well. Funny how that works. There are a lot of people who are excited about AEW and there is a very vocal minority who insist on telling everyone that they shouldn't be excited. I'm going to give it a chance and I don't know what we have to lose by doing that. I never said anyone shouldn't be excited. If this promotion sounds like something you're interested in, god bless. I'm not interested in it and am merely discussing the prospects of the company given what we currently know about it and my position tends to skew way more negative/skeptical than yours. Sorry you can't handle that and have to resort to bullshit like the first part of your post I quoted.

I think it says a lot about where the industry is right now as a whole when guys like Cody, the Young Bucks and Bandido are considered the hottest free agents in wrestling. Yikes. I guess blame NXT.
Will AEW sign away some of the WWE 's biggest stars or will it just be another Indy fed that works with other Indy feds (which is what it looks like) changing nothing? I personally thought All In was like every other Indy show I've seen.

You're opinion is just as valid as everyone else's but you come off ass a jerk the way you post on here. It got to me for some reason. I try to keep negativity out of my life. After this post I'm done. Have a good night.

I honestly don’t think AEW will catch on with causal fans. I may be wrong, but casual fans probably like basic, WWE matches that are short with the same spots. AEW may be too niche, even with all the money thrown at it. However, if they make it a “what will happen next week” style show, maybe it will pick up. I actually feel Impact is doing better at this than WWE right now.
I’m more of an AJPW guy right now, so I’m odd.

The success of AEW is totally tied into how they utilize social media to build the culture and try to grow their fanbase. I was a regular viewer of Being the Elite before All In was announced. So that show I was more invested in since I watched the buildup. I could see just coming into it as a normal wrestling fan that the show could be unremarkable.
I am always a fan of more progressive ways to promote wrestling and alternative forms of performances in the ring, so I am intrigued by what they do and who they will work with. Who's to say they won't work with the NWA and ROH and the Young Bucks enter the Crockett Cup tournament?
