Fingers crossed they put a mask and body suit on him and attempt to give us the next Kane. Otherwise I can't see it. WWE needs more characters and less wrestlers who look like regular people who walked in off the street.

I want to see more stuff like Kane and Undertaker and less regular old looking Indy wrestlers. More and more these guys look and act like regular people. Nobody stands out.

I mean I don't consider a dude who's like 6'3" and 300 pounds to look like a regular person on the street

Especially compared to WWE made characters like Kane and the Undertaker. I don't know that I agree with you 100% but I do feel like WWE has been lacking larger than life characters. I don't think we necessarily need to have more supernatural wrestlers but it would make sense to have a few more BIG personalities. You've said something to this effect before but the average Joe watching shouldn't feel like they stand any chance with the majority of the WWE wrestlers. They don't all need to be monsters but most should feel like something really special. A giant, a special breed of athlete, a unique personality/gimmick, etc. WALTER is big but not really all that big by WWE standards. Cesaro, for instance, is an inch or two taller than he is and he isn't generally thought of as an overly tall individual. That leaves him as an average (again by WWE standards) height chubby guy. Unless they find a really magic gimmick for him I'd imagine we see him hit NXT, dominate there for a bit and then fizzle once he hits the main roster. Unfortunately that's a pretty common occurrence for NXT fellas.

Lord knows that Swarm and I disagree plenty as well, but I'm closer to him on this than not. I don't know if he needs a mask, but I'd like to see him truly put over as a remorseless killer rather than a guy who puts on "strong style" matches and then takes smiling selfies showing off bruised chests afterward like they're all best buddies.
He also desperately needs a new name.
I'm not as hung up on his height, because I don't expect him to come to the main roster any time soon--he was signed to be a stalwart for NXT UK. He could always be working or could always change his mind, but a few weeks ago he flat-out said he didn't want to live full-time in the U.S. In the UK where most of the roster are cruiser-sized, he'll be fine.

Ya my opinion on WALTER is less about him and more about wanting to see more larger than life characters like pikemojo described. I've only seen highlight videos of WALTER. And when I did my first thought was that he seemed like a talented big man with a very plain look. Then I see guys like Taker and Kane main eventing shows in 2018 and something has to give. Time to create new monsters. I realize he will most likely never see RAW or SD, instead being used a top guy for their UK promotion - just wishful thinking Vince still has it in him to create larger than life "characters". I don't think Glen Jacobs lasts 15 years in the WWE wrestling as Glen. If that makes sense.

I don't think Glen Jacobs lasts 15 years in the WWE wrestling as Glen. If that makes sense. What if he had gone by GLEN though. I also didn't mean to directly diss WALTER, in case my post came across that way. He seems talented in the ring. Part of his mystique on the indy scene is his size, though. And that won't hold up in WWE. He needs more, as do many others clearly. I'd also add that part of the problem is WWE's commitment to their own gimmicks. I always thought The Ascension was a fun gimmick but WWE seemed to lose interest so quickly. There's a list a mile long of gimmicks and wrestlers that WWE has dropped before even giving them a real shot.
