Hey Mad Kanter! Even though Matthew Cross lost the title to Burly, I have to say I really enjoyed this last card. Got a kick out of Big Sue finding Heidi potentially riveting at the end of their contest. And who doesn't enjoy when Dr. Omen has a swig from his magic elixir. John Abraham Lincoln get's on the winning track. Too bad the Jeepers couldn't get it done. Constables galore and not enough to contain KC's Finest!

'Big' Sue may have more to dealings with Heidi in the future. The Gang of Five vs. The Locals could get bigger than anyone in KC's Finest can handle.

CHAOS PROMOTER’S EYE DOTTED
KC’s FINEST WRESTING ended the year with another wild event. This time the wildness resulted in the promoter getting punched in the eye.
Promoter Marco Epstein was seated at ringside when a fight broke out between the newly christened Gang of Five and The Locals in Favor of Prohibition. Epstein attempted to help constables break up the melee and was inadvertently struck in the face.
“First off I want to let the fans know that I appreciate their concern, but I am just fine. This isn’t the first black eye I’ve had,” explained Epstein. I am concerned about the black eye that this Gang of Five and The Locals continue to put on KC’S FINEST though. I am working on a solution to this violence and will have an announcement to make at the next event.”
Unfortunately the injury to Epstein may have overshadowed the title change that occurred at the event. Bill Taylor took advantage of his much awaited shot at the Pride of Kansas City, Matthew Cross, by unseating the champion.
“Burly Bill was definitely deserving of his shot,” said a humbled Cross. “He was the better man in that match, but rest assured, I’ll be back in the ring with him soon, obviously as the challenger this time, but the outcome will most definitely be in my favor.”
“Cross was a great champion, but you never know what’s going to happen when you get in the ring,” said a jubilant Taylor. “I know Mr. Taylor and Mr. Samson have a big celebration planned for me tonight, but tomorrow it’s back to work keeping the flim flam out of the tavern.”
Other wrestlers gaining victories at the event were Baker Monroe, Heidi The Riveter, the team of Tracy Smothers and Zoey Skye, John Abraham Lincoln, Jacob Omen and KC’S FINEST Tag Team The Foreign Legion.

Keep on keepin on Mad Kanter! Totally loving what's a brew. Hoping either Cross or Lincoln earn a shot soon at Burly Bill. Looking forward to Epstein's attempted solution to all of this chaos. Go Ox!

KC’S FINEST PRO WRESTLING CIRCA 1920’s SHOW 16 KANSAS CITY CLUB KANSAS CITY, MO
(Promoter Marco Epstein is in the center of the ring.)
Epstein: Welcome to KC’S Finest, the best pro wrestling in the Midwest. I hope the new year is treating everyone well. I’m going to get right down to business and address the violent situation between The Gang of Five and The Locals in Favor of Prohibition. It has become apparent that these two groups cannot stand each other and violence follows whenever there is an encounter between the two groups; therefore, Kansas City is not big enough for both groups. With that b eing the case, I have decided that this feud must come to an end and one of the groups will need to leave KC’S FINEST.
(The fans begin murmuring.)
I believe there is only one way to settle this and that is for both factions to face each other in this ring with the losing group leaving KC’S FINEST. Knowing the violence that occurs when these two groups encounter each other, I have taken a measure to ensure that the action stays in the ring and none of the great fans of KC’S FINEST will be in any danger during this match. I have had several discussions will local steel fabricators and have found a company that will build me a sort of steel cage that will be constructed around the ring to keep the action confined there. Furthermore, these two groups will stay away from each other until this match at our next event. If either team initiates contact with the other, the instigating team will immediately be forced to leave KC’S FINEST permanently.
(Fans murmur loudly now.)
Now I can hear from the fans sitting at ringside there is a question of fairness considering The Locals only have three members as part of their group. The Patriot has assured me he has found a pair of men that will even the odds and those two men will debut at today’s event.
Matthew Cross vs. Billy Roc This was a very competitive contest as both men were looking to position themselves for a shot at the Pride of Kansas City Title. Roc gained a quick advantage, but Cross recovered. Cross attempted a move from the top turnbuckle, but Roc countered and went on the offensive. Cross came back once again and pinned Roc with a flying cross body block.
Zoey Skye w/Tracy Smothers vs. Thunderkitty Skye and Smothers were up to their usual antics, dancing and playing to the crowd, but once the match started it was a different story. Dust was all over Thunderkitty, but Thunderkitty endured. Thunderkitty countered a top rope move by Skye and wore her down with an Iron Claw. Thunderkitty couldn’t get the victory before Skye made a comeback and beat Thunderkitty with the SOUL STEALER. Skye and Smothers once again danced and played to the crowd as they celebrated the victory.
(The Patriot and Locals in Favor of Prohibition come to the ring as The Upper Class awaits their opponents.)
The Patriot: So Mr. Epstein wants to rid KC’s Finest of either The Gang of Five or the Locals in Favor of Prohibition. I sensed this might be coming and sent a telegram back to Washington in order to gain some reinforcements. President Coolidge reached out to our allies to the north and in return they sent two of the best the Royal Canadian Mounted Police has to offer.
(With that, Jacques Rougeau and Pierre Carl Oulette make their way to the ring, shaking hands with The Patriot, Gavin O. Volstead and Cammeron S. Sheppard.)
The Mounties (Jacques Rougeau & Pierre Carl Oulette) w/Gavin Q. Volstead & Cammeron S. Sheppard & The Patriot) vs. The Upper Class (Maxwell Jacob Friedman & Logan Easton Laroux) The Patriot distracted The Upper Class as the match began, allowing The Mounties to gain the early advantage. It didn’t last long though and The Upper Class began to dominate. The action spilled out of the ring, where the tables were turned when The Locals attacked Laroux as The Patriot distracted the referee. Once again gaining the advantage, Oulette attempts a top rope clothesline, but inadvertently collides with the referee. With the referee down, The Mounties attempted to really incapacitate their opponents, but The Upper Class was up to the task. The referee recovered and the match continued back and forth. The Mounties isolated Laroux and really began to wear him down. The Mounties finished their complete dismantling of Laroux before Rougeau made the pin following a flying elbow ram.
Gregory Iron vs. ‘Ox’ Baker Monroe w/Mary Elizabeth Monroe Monroe beamed with pride from ringside as her father did his thing in the ring. Ox completely dominated Iron, squeezing the life out of him with a bear hug. Ox tossed Iron out of the ring and his aggressiveness got the better of him. Ox smashed Iron with a chair and the ref promptly disqualified him. Ox didn’t seemed to phased by the incident as he helped a dazed Iron to his feet, making sure he wasn’t seriously hurt by Ox’s antics. Iron was bewildered, but ultimately shook Ox’s hand.
Pride of Kansas City ‘Burly’ Bill Taylor & The Moonshin’ Men of Appalachia (Chuck Taylor & Jock Samson) vs. Jeff King & Robert Orton, Sr. & Robert Orton, Jr. This was a brutal back and forth contest. Samson was isolated during the contest, but managed to battle his way out. Unfortunately the damage had been done and Junior pinned him following a SUPERPLEX.
The Jackson County Jeepers (Clean & Jerk) vs. Isaias Velasquez & Craig Mitchell Both teams got after it quickly and The Jeepers came out on the positive side. Jerk locked Mitchell in the JEEPER SQUEEZE and Mitchell faded quickly. Velasquez tried to make the save, but Clean cut him off and Mitchell was left with no choice, but to submit.
Bobo Brazil w/Koko Ware & Conrad ‘Special Delivery’ Jones vs. Nicholas Valentino Valentino thought it would be a good idea to start the match with a test of strength. Sadly, Valentino was mistaken and Brazil quickly dispatched Valentino with a COCO BUTT. After the match Ware invited the crowd to their next set at the Moonshin’ Men Tavern later tonight.
Dr. Jacob Omen & Nurse Britt Baker vs. Paul Vachon & Heidi The Riveter w/Maurice Vachon The women started the match and battled back and forth. Heidi refused to tag out when she got into trouble and Baker pinned her after a discus forearm. After the match Paul got into a shouting match with Heidi. Maurice joined the fray and grabbed Heidi’s arms from behind. It looked as if the Vachons were going to do a real number on the helpless Heidi when ‘Big’ Sue Jackson hit the ring and nailed Maurice from behind, freeing Heidi. Heidi in turn kicked Paul in the groin. Jackson delivered the CLOSE SHAVE to Maurice and both Jackson and Heidi rolled out of the ring. Heidi began shouting at Jackson, telling him she didn’t need his help and to leave her alone. Jackson looked somewhat dejected as he returned to the back.
KC’S FINEST TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH The Associates (Niles ‘Sozio’ Young & Biff Busick) w/Bruno ‘Baby Face’ Moretti vs. KC’S Finest Tag Team The Foreign Legion (Martin Scurll & Robert Mailett) Mailett started the match and tried to end it quickly with a big slam to Young, but Young was able to survive. Mailett continued to manhandle Young until Young caught him with a YAKUZA KICK. Mailett was seriously dazed by the move and Young looked to capitalize. Young tried to keep Mailett down, even delivering a tombstone piledriver. Scurll got involved at this point and a wild brawl erupted. Young and Busick double teamed Scurll and as Mailett attempted to regain his feet, Moretti decked him with a roll of quarters as the referee was distracted. Mailett was out cold and Young made the easy pin, winning the titles.
(Epstein enters the ring with the title belts. Hugo Lexington and Dick J. Lahart enter the ring as well. Lexington demands that Epstein give him the belts. Epstein hesitates so Lexington and Lahart rip the belts from Epstein’s hands. Epsteins’ ire is obviously raised, but he maintains his composure as Lexington and Lahart strap the belts around the waist of Young and Busick. Epstein presents the new champions to the mixed reaction of the crowd and invites everyone to come back for the next event.)

Nice win by The Mounties and Brazil. One note, you said the Mounties dismantled Laroux and Rougeau instead of Friedman.
