Thank you. Before I started this project I did some research about the 1920's because I wanted some authenticity to what I was presenting, specifically the slang terms and well as 1920's wrestling in general.

(Promoter ‘Big Daddy’ Marco Epstein is in the center of the ring to welcome the fans.)

Epstein: Welcome to Kansas City’s Finest, the best pro wrestling in the Midwest. We’ve got quite the event planned for you today as we continue the tournament to crown KC’S FINEST TAG TEAM.

(Epstein is once again interrupted by none other than Hugo Lexington.)

Lexington: Pardon the interruption sir, but I have a very important announcement to make.

Epstein: Mr Lexington. Why am I not surprised? Don’t you get tired of interrupting me week after week?

Lexington: Not at all sir. I am here to introduce a very important man that I now have at my disposal in spreading the message of the Locals in Favor of Prohibition. This man has been sent straight from Washington D.C. and arrived by train this morning. You can call this man my personal Federal Prohibition Agent. Please welcome The Patriot.

(The Patriot makes his appearance to a chorus of boos. The Patriot is wearing blue wrestling tights and a mask that has red and white stripes on one side and blue with white stars on the other.)

Epstein: I always welcome new competitors to KC’S Finest Wrestling and The Patriot will be no different. As a matter of fact why doesn’t he step into the ring and participate in our first match?

(Lexington has a brief discussion with The Patriot before The Patriot climbs into the ring and awaits his opponent.)

The Patriot w/Hugo Lexington vs. Marion Fontaine
The Patriot made an immediate impact as he caught Fontaine with a vicious running clothesline just after the opening bell. The Patriot continued his assault delivering a move he called the MK V, which was a flying shoulder block from the top turnbuckle. The Patriot refused to make the pin, instead throwing Fontaine out of the ring, where The Patriot continued his brutal beat down. The referee eventually counted both men out. Lexington looked gleeful as he called a cease to the attack and returned to the dressing room, content in the statement that his new man had made.

(‘Big’ Sue Jackson Jackson has reluctantly found an ally in Thunderkitty, in his continued ridicule of ‘Felino de Hierro’ Louis Lyndon about his losses to both Mary Elizabeth Monroe and Thunderkitty. Jackson and Thunderkitty were waiting in the ring for their opponents when Monroe and Lyndon appeared. Lyndon looked to be somewhat shaky as he led Monroe to the ring. Suddenly a woman, dressed in a white uniform, ran from the dressing room and stood in front of Lyndon, chastising him. Lyndon tried to plead his case, but finally relented after Monroe said something to him. The woman in the white uniform lead Lyndon to the dressing room as Monroe made her way to the ring.)

‘Big’ Sue Jackson & Thunderkitty vs. Mary Elizabeth Monroe &
Monroe stands defiantly in front of Jackson as he has himself a hearty laugh, telling Monroe he might as well take the night off and just let the two “broads” go at it. Monroe says he may want to reconsider as she signals to the dressing room and out dashes a returning Matthew Cross. After recovering from his brief shock Jackson tried to attack Cross as he entered the ring, but Cross countered. It didn’t take long and Cross had Jackson locked in the BOW AND ARROW. Jackson couldn’t break the hold and was forced to submit.

(After Cross left Jackson lying in the ring, ‘Felino de Hierro’ Louis Lyndon ran from the dressing room as the woman dressed in the white uniform gave chase. The woman was not quick enough to stop Lyndon from entering the ring and nailing Jackson with a CROSSBODY SPLASH. Lyndon groggily rolled out of the ring, where the woman dressed in white again chastised him then helped him to the locker room.)

The Good Doctors (Dr. Jacob Omen & Dr. Sam Sheppard) w/Nurse Britt Baker vs. Isaias Velasquez & Craig Mitchell
The identity of the woman dressed in the white uniform was introduced to the crowd before the next match as Nurse Britt Baker and the newly contracted nurse for The Good Doctors. The match started out back and forth as both teams looked to advance in the KC’S GREATEST TAG TEAM tournament. There was a little bit of a feeling out process before Velasquez seemed to get bored and caught Sheppard with a low blow, out of the sight of the referee. Velasquez made the quick pin as he and his partner quickly returned to the dressing room, leaving Omen and Baker to tend to their fallen comrade.

Gregory Iron vs. Nicholas Valentino
Iron looked severely overmatched early, which may have led Valentino into falling into a false sense of security. Iron made a comeback after recovering first from a double clothesline and after a brief back and forth battle Iron beat Valentino with a FLYING BURRITO.

The Jackson County Jeepers (Clean & Jerk) vs. Robert Orton, Sr. & Robert Orton, Jr.
This was a brutal brawl as both teams tried to show off their power. It was the farm-strong Ortons that came out on top after Senior basically beat down Jerk with a forearm pummeling until the referee stopped the match.

Heidi The Riveter vs. Dasher Hatfield
After a brief back and forth Hatfield mad Heidi submit to the SUICIDE SQUEEZE.

Niles ‘Sozio’ Young vs. Maurice Vachon
Young completely dominated Vachon and pinned him with a frog splash.

Locals In Favor of Prohibition (Gavin Q. Volstead & Cameron S. Sheppard) w/Hugo Lextington vs. The Moonshin’ Men of Appalachia (Chuck Taylor & Jock Samson)
After qualifying for the tournament on the last show, The Locals face a stiff first round opponent in their old rivals, The Moonshin’ Men. Both teams battled back and forth, executing multiple tags. Eventually The Moonshin’ Men gained the advantage and Taylor surprised Sheppard with a spring board splash off the top rope to get the pin. Lexington immediately jumped in the ring and was decked by Taylor. Suddenly The Patriot hit the ring and attacked Taylor with a chair then nailed Samson. ‘Burly’ Bill Taylor came out and confronted The Patriot, only to meet the same fate as his bosses.

(Marco Epstein entered the ring from his ringside seat and started a shouting match with Lexington. The Patriot came up behind Epstein and attempted to blast him with the chair as well, but Lexington shoved Epstein out of the way and took the chair shot himself. At that point Volstead and Sheppard got into The Patriot’s face. The Patriot slowly exited the ring. Epstein ordered officials to remove The Patriot from the building as The Good Doctors and Nurse Britt Baker entered the ring to tend to Lexington.)

Really enjoyed this 5th card Mad Kanter!

Lots going on and even more sides being drawn.

The Patriot seems like a possible game changer to the fed.

But Matthew Cross returning made the card for me, let alone him forcing Jackson to tap out to his finisher.

CHAOS AT KC’S FINEST

The latest KC’s Finest Wrestling show ended in chaos after a new man made his mark.

A masked man named The Patriot debuted on the last show and went on the war path. Not only did he brutally attack Marion Fontaine outside the ring during and after their match, The Patriot also smashed the man that introduced him with a chair. Following the final match of the card, a KC’s Finest Tag Team tournament match between The Locals in Favor of Prohibition and The Moonshin’ Men of Appalchia, The Patriot delivered several chair shots, leveling Chuck Taylor, Jock Samson, Bill Taylor and Hugo Lexington, the man that introduced him to the crowd at the beginning of the card.

“I’m always looking for new talent to compete in KC’s Finest Wrestling and welcomed The Patriot with open arms,” said KC’s Finest promoter Marco Epstein. “But had I known this was the kind of behavior he would be demonstrating I would never had agreed to him competing. The Patriot as well as Hugo Lexington owe me an explanation for this behavior and I plan on getting that explanation soon.”

The Moonshin’ Men won their match, as did Mary Elizabeth Monroe and her partner for the card, the returning Matthew Cross. ‘Felino de Hierro’ Louis Lyndon was originally scheduled to be Monroe’s partner as they took on the team of ‘Big’ Sue Jackson and Thunderkitty. Lyndon did not compete in the match due to what appeared to be a lingering injury.

“Lyndon isn’t right,” said Cross. “He’s got something going on. I’m not exactly sure what it is, but he probably shouldn’t be anywhere near a wrestling ring.

Cross looked really good in his return from injury and picked up the win for his team, making Jackson submit to his bow and arrow maneuver.

“It was great to be back in the ring,” continued Cross. I felt good and am clearly back to one hundred percent. I hope it won’t be too long before I get a shot at John [Lincoln] and the KC’s Finest Wrestler title.”

Lyndon did attack Jackson after the match, which did not sit too well with ‘Big’ Sue.

“Louis Lyndon is lily livered pond scum if you ask me,” spouted a very angry Jackson. “Is he injured or not? You ask me that yellow dog is using this supposed injury as an excuse to not get in the ring with me because he knows that I will end him.”

The teams of Isaias Velasquez and Craig Mitchell and Robert Orton, Senior and Robert, Junior both won to advance in the tournament to crown KC’s Finest tag team. Others posting a victory on the card were Gregory Iron, Dasher Hatfield and Niles ‘Sozio’ Young.

Epstein: Welcome to Kansas City’s Finest, the best pro wrestling in the Midwest. Before we get started today there’s some business that must be tended to. Last week you fans witnessed some behavior that you did not need to be subjected to and that was the behavior of The Patriot. That’s why right now I am calling out The Patriot as well as Hugo Lexington to apologize to you, the fans.

(After a short time Hugo Lexington appears and reluctantly makes his way to the ring.)

Lexington: Uh … well … uh …

Epstein: Spit it out!

Lexington: The Patriot doesn’t feel he has done anything wrong and therefore will not be making any apologies. I, on the other hand, would like to sincerely apologize for what took place last week.

Epstein: Didn’t do anything wrong?! That schlemiel was going to hit me with a chair.

Lexington: But he didn’t. He hit me. So I guess that means you owe me one, huh?

Epstein: Huh. I guess I do. Tell ya what. I’m going to pay off that debt right now. You get to take The Patriot’s spot in our first match since he will no longer be allowed to compete in KC’s Finest until he apologizes.

(Lexington tries to protest, but it falls on deaf ears. As Lexington tries to follow Epstein out of the ring, voicing his displeasure, he sees who his opponent is and backs away, back into the ring.)

Hugo Lexington vs. ‘Burly’ Bill Taylor
Lexington attacked Taylor as he came through the ropes. Lexington attempted to whip Taylor into the turnbuckle, but Taylor reversed it. Taylor crashed hard into the buckle as he charged in and Lexington quickly moved. Lexington thought he had the match won at that point, but Taylor kicked out of the pin attempt. Lexington attempted to follow up with a high risk move and got caught, as Taylor tossed him to the canvas. Taylor went on the offensive and after a few minutes delivered a SIDE SLAM. As Taylor went for the pin, he was attacked by The Patriot, who had come out of the crowd. The referee disqualified Lexington as Lexington and The Patriot put the boots to Taylor.


(Suddenly The Moonshin’ Men of Appalachia – Chuck Taylor & Jock Samson – hit the ring and attacked The Patriot. The Patriot countered the attack and quickly exited the ring and headed for the dressing room when he was stopped in his tracks by Bruno ‘Baby Face’ Moretti, Niles ‘Sozio’ Young & Biff Busick – The Associates. The Patriot turned to go back to the ring, but The Moonshin’ Men had started up the aisle toward him. The Patriot quickly retreated into the crowd as The Associates and Moonshin’ Men gave chase.)


The Good Doctors (Dr. Jacob Omen & Dr. Sam Sheppard) w/Nurse Britt Baker vs. Foreign Legion (Martin Scurll & Robert Mailett)
The Foreign Legion bent the rules early and often as Scurll got in several shots with his umbrella on the unsuspecting Omen. The Legion dominated The Doctors until the match spilled out of the ring. Omen battled back and attempted to gain the upper hand on Mailett, but Scurll tried to get involved as well. Sheppard tried to neutralize Scurll, all the while the referee counted both Omen and Mailett, the legal men, out.

‘Big’ Sue Jackson vs. Gregory Iron w/‘Felino de Hierro’ Louis Lyndon
Jackson was livid that he wasn’t facing Lyndon and was distracted by Lyndon’s presence at ringside. Iron capitalized on the distraction and caught Jackson with a facebreaker knee smash as soon as the match started, nearly stealing a victory. Iron continued the assault with Jackson eventually escaping to the ringside area. It wasn’t much of an escape as Lyndon blasted Jackson with a wooden chair, sending the big man crashing to the floor. The referee disqualified Iron.


(Jackson was bleeding from the back of his head as he regained his feet, seething. Unfortunately, Lyndon and Iron had already retreated to the dressing room.)


The Moonshin’ Men of Appalachia (Chuck Taylor & Jock Samson) vs. Robert Orton, Sr. & Robert Orton, Jr.
Some believe these two teams are the favorites in the tournament to crown KC’s Finest tag team, but only one of the will reach the finals as they face off in this semifinal match. This was a fantastic back and forth battle that saw both teams nearly get the pin, but it was The Moonshin’ Men that were able to pull out the victory after Samson pinned Senior with a power slam.

The Upper Class (Maxwell Jacob Friedman & Logan Easton Laroux) vs. Isaias Velasquez & Craig Mitchell
Both of these teams were eager to show they deserved to face The Moonshin’ Men in the tournament final. Velasquez and Mitchell demonstrated their power while The Upper Class countered with speed and agility. It was speed and agility that won this match as Laroux pinned Mitchell after a CUTTER.

Kimber Lee w/Hugo Lexington vs. Nurse Britt Baker
Lexington was happy to debut the newest member of The Locals in Favor of Prohibition, Kimber Lee against Nurse Baker, who was also making her in ring debut. Both ladies battled back and forth until curiously The Patriot appeared at ringside. He and Lexington seemed to be having a very heated conversation when the ladies brawled toward them. Baker sent Lee flailing into The Patriot and Lexington with an atomic drop. The Patriot actually ended up pie facing Lee away as the three of them attempted to regain their wits. This drew the ire of Lee, who got in The Patriot’s face. Lexington managed to separate the two as Baker attacked Lee and both ladies brawled into the crowd. The referee counted both Lee and Baker out as they continued to brawl in the crowd, eventually making their way to the dressing room.


(The Patriot and Lexington continued their heated conversation at ringside until Marco Epstein, flanked by The Associates, made his way from the dressing room. The Patriot made a hasty retreat into the crowd as The Associates gave chase, leaving Epstein and Lexington to have their own heated conversation before returning to the dressing room.)


The Jackson County Jeepers (Clean & Jerk) vs. Locals In Favor of Prohibition (Gavin Q. Volstead & Cammeron S. Sheppard) w/Hugo Lexington
Lexington seemed very flustered at ringside as his duo battled with The Jeepers. Lexington continuously scanned the crowd, presumably looking for The Patriot. Both teams battled back and forth until Volstead inadvertently collided with the referee, sending the ref tumbling out of the ring. It’s about that time Lexington caught sight of The Patriot coming through the crowd being trailed by The Associates. Lexington slid a wooden chair into the ring and climbed in after it, but before Lexington could reclaim the chair, Volstead picked it up and smashed it over Clean’s head, busting Clean open.


(The Patriot finally made it to ringside, where The Associates gave chase. Sheppard dove off the apron as The Associates ran by and tackled Biff Busick. The other two Associates paused briefly, which was enough time for The Patriot to grab a wooden chair and smash it over Bruno ‘Baby Face’ Moretti’s head, sending Moretti to the floor. Lextington came out of the ring in an attempt to gain order among his men outside the ring when ‘Burly’ Bill Taylor and The Moonshin’ Men ran out from the dressing room looking to get themselves a piece of The Patriot. Volstead and Sheppard impeded The Moonshin’ Men with a brief brawl, allowing The Patriot once again to escape through the crowd. Taylor and The Moonshin’ Men then gave chase as The Locals returned to the ring and the match at hand.)


While the antics took place at ringside, Jerk found a towel and managed to clean his bloody partner up. The ref returned to the ring, oblivious to what had taken place and looked to continue the match. Volstead resumed his assault on a foggy Clean, eventually finding a piece of the chair he had busted over Clean’s head. Volsteah, unbeknownst to the referee dug the piece of wood into Clean’s head, again making him bleed profusely. After a few minutes, the ref examined Clean and called for one of the ringside doctors to look at the wound. Dr. Sam Sheppard entered the ring, examined Clean and informed the referee Clean was unable to continue. The ref ended the match and declared The Locals the winners.

Matthew Cross vs. Jeff King
Cross was looking for a bit of revenge as King was the man the injured him and caused him to be out of action for as long as he was. Cross was all over King, who barely got any offense in at all. Cross made King submit to the BOW AND ARROW.


(Epstein entered the ring and thanked everyone for attending. He also apologized for the antics of The Patriot and assures the fans that the situation will be dealt with.)

There will definitely be more with The Patriot in the next few shows as he seems to be racking up quite the list of enemies.

I'm definitely trying to keep the fed from getting stale and that's why I've started to introduce some new faces, including Kimber Lee, The Ortons, Britt Baker and more to come.
