Really enjoying what you've got going on here Mad Kanter! The Patriot continues to disrupt well - everything. Also enjoying the tense relationship between Judge Black and him. A manager managing a wrestler that he probably can't control. As TTX said I am also enjoying the mixture of talent on the roster. The highlight of the recent action for me is Matthew Cross racking up back to back victories - gotta think he's not far away from a crack at Lincoln for the title, if The Patriot doesn't beat him to it. Another highlight for me was the word "schlemiel". Got a gut laugh out of me with that one. This fed keeps getting better and better!

Cross is definitely positioning himself for a run at Lincoln and the title.
The Patriot is more interested in wrecking stuff right now to concentrate on a title run and his relationship with Lexington is about to get a lot more interesting.
Stay tuned.

Circa 1920'sEXTRA ... EXTRA ... READ ALL ABOUT IT!THE PATRIOT CONTINUES TO CAUSE TROUBLE
The Patriot continued to cause trouble at the most recent KC’s Finest Wrestling event.
The Patriot appeared multiple times during the event beginning with interference during the opening contest. The Patriot was originally scheduled to compete in the match, but Promoter Marco Epstein announced that The Patriot would not be allowed to compete in KC’s Finest Wrestling until The Patriot issued an apology for his actions the week prior.
“The Patriot doesn’t feel he has done anything wrong and therefore will not be making any apologies,” announced Hugo Lexington, the man that brought The Patriot into Kansas City.
As a result Epstein responded by announcing Lexington would take The Patriot’s place in the opening match against Bill Taylor. The Patriot interfered as Taylor attempted to pin Lexington, getting Lexington disqualified. The Patriot exited through the spectators as he was chased by both the Moonshin’ Men of Appalachia and The Associates.
The second appearance by The Patriot occurred during a match between the newest member of The Locals in Favor of Prohibition, Kimber Lee and Nurse Britt Baker, who was also making her in ring debut. The Patriot came to ringside during the match and engaged in a heated discussion with Lexington, who had accompanied Lee to the ring. The Patriot ended up making physical contact with Lee, which rose her ire. Baker and Lee ended up fighting afterward and both ladies were counted out. The Patriot was again chased from ringside by The Associates.
The Patriot made his final appearance during a tag team match between The Locals in Favor of Prohibition and The Jackson County Jeepers. The referee took a tumble out of the ring as a result of an inadvertent collision with Gavin Volstead. The Patriot came through the crowd, being chased by The Associates. Once at ringside Cammeron Sheppard interjected himself at this point and The Moonshin’ Men got involved as well. The Patriot once again escaped through the crowd as Bill Taylor and The Moonshin’ Men gave chase. The Locals ended up winning the match when Clean was deemed unable to continue by the ringside doctor.
The other big news out of the event was the final of the tournament to crown KC’s Finest Tag Team being set. The Moonshin’ Men advanced to the final by defeating the Ortons while The Upper Class made it to the final by defeating the team of Isaias Velasquez and Craig Mitchell. It is expected that the tournament final will take place at the next event.
Matthew Cross continued to show he was back at full strength following his injury by defeating the man that put him on the shelf, Jeff King.
Foreign Legion and ‘Big’ Sue Jackson also garnered victories at the event.

Love the alternating events and news headlines / stories Mad Kanter! You really have a great 1920's feel here which is awesome. Although The Patriot is running amok here I gotta say he's a great touch - both predictable and unpredictable at the same time. Seems as though Matthew Cross is positioning himself for a title shot and theres a huge tag team final on the horizon. I'll be in the seats, enjoying my coffee and sinkers waiting for the next event. Great work!

The Patriot will play a big part in what's to happen in the upcoming weeks so you'll want to definitely stay tuned for that.
Matthew Cross is definitely being position for a shot at the title, but it won't be on the next card.
There are several other storylines going on as well (some major, some minor) and I'm hoping to tie them up in the next several shows.

KC’S FINEST PRO WRESTLING CIRCA 1920’s SHOW 7 KANSAS CITY CLUB KANSAS CITY, MO
(Promoter ‘Big Daddy’ Marco Epstein is in the center of the ring to welcome the fans.)
Epstein: Welcome to Kansas City’s Finest, the best pro wrestling in the Midwest. Tonight we will crown new champions as The Moonshin’ Men face off against the Upper Class to determine KC’s Finest Tag Team. Also tonight, Matt Cross will face Bill Taylor with the winner getting an opportunity to face the PRIDE OF KANSAS CITY.
(Epstein is suddenly interrupted by … ‘Big’ Sue Jackson. Jackson entered the ring and demanded a match against ‘Felino de Hierro’ Louis Lyndon. Epstein advised that Jackson would do well not to make demands of him, but since Lyndon has been cleared by doctors, Jackson will get his wish and he gets it right now.)
‘Big’ Sue Jackson vs. ‘Felino de Hierro’ Louis Lyndon Lyndon started out fast, but Jackson countered and slowed the tempo. Jackson used a slow, plodding pace to inflict as much pain as he could on Lyndon. Jackson eventually gained the victory with the CLOSE SHAVE. Jackson was not content with the win, he wanted to destroy Lyndon. Jackson signaled to the dressing room and The Ortons, Bob Sr. & Jr., came to the ring and the three of them obliterated Lyndon. Marco Epstein, Dr. Jacob Omen, Dr. Sam Sheppard and Nurse Britt Baker, were all in the ring tending to Lyndon, who was not moving. The doctors did determine Lyndon was breathing and carefully removed him from the ring, much to the shock of the crowd.
Kimber Lee w/Hugo Lexington vs. Heidi The Riveter Lee was dominant in this one, beating Heidi with the PLANTER’S PUNCH (YOSHI TONIC).
Bruno ‘Baby Face’ Moretti w/Niles ‘Sozio’ Young & Biff Busick vs. Gregory Iron Moretti had things going his way early, but once Moretti’s associates attempted to insert themselves in the match, a fire was lit under Iron. Iron picked up the pace, but a miscalculation on his part cost him as Moretti caught Iron going to the top turnbuckle. The action spilled out of the ring, where Young and Busick attempted to insert themselves in the match once again. The referee did his best to control things, but was shoved to the ground in the process. The referee disqualified Moretti.
Robert Orton, Sr. & Robert Orton, Jr. vs. Foreign Legion (Martin Scurll & Robert Mailett) Mailett showed his dominating strength as soon as the bell rang, throwing both Ortons around like it was nothing. Mailett pinned Jr. After throwing him chest first into the turnbuckle.
Matthew Cross vs. ‘Burly’ Bill Taylor This was a very competitive contest with neither man holding the advantage for very long. After several minutes of back and forth action, Cross caught Taylor in the BOW AND ARROW and after a brief, but futile struggle, Taylor submitted.
(After Cross had his hand raised, he requested the microphone.)
Cross: First off I’d like to thank all the fans that come out week after week to watch me compete. Your support means the world to me and I would like to reward that support by adding the PRIDE OF KANSAS CITY to my waist. Mr. Epstein, I’ve done all that you’ve asked, now you need to hold up your end of the bargain. I respectfully request the title shot I so rightfully deserve.
(With that Cross put down the mic and began to leave the ring when the PRIDE OF KANSAS CITY John Abraham Lincoln came from the back and stood nose to nose with Cross. Lincoln extended his hand, which Cross shook.)
Lincoln: May the best man win.
(Both men returned to the back.)
Locals In Favor of Prohibition (Gavin Q. Volstead & Cammeron S. Sheppard) vs. Isaias Velasquez & Craig Mitchell The fans seemed distracted throughout the match, looking around the crowd for a possible Patriot sighting. Also conspicuous by his absence at ringside was Hugo Lexington. The Locals seemed a little out of sorts without the guidance of Lexington at ringside. Velazquez pinned Volstead after delivering the HAMMER OF DAWN.
Niles ‘Sozio’ Young vs. Dasher Hatfield Young was forced to go it alone as the referee immediately sent his Associates to the back as they arrived at ringside. It made no difference as Young immediately had Hatfield in a bad way with a powerbomb shortly after the match began. Hatfield recovered and went on the offensive. Hatfield had Young in a bad way, but Young made a comeback and beat Hatfield with a double knee gutbuster.
The Moonshin’ Men of Appalachia (Chuck Taylor & Jock Samson) vs. The Upper Class (Maxwell Jacob Friedman & Logan Easton Laroux) Both of these teams had their eyes on the prize as the winner would be crowned KC’s FINEST TAG TEAM. The match was fast and furious with several near falls, but the tide suddenly turned when The Patriot arrived at ringside and distracted Taylor in the corner. The ref turned his attention to the corner and didn’t see The Locals enter the ring and lay out Samson. As The Patriot began brawling with Taylor at ringside the ref turned around to see Friedman plant Samson with the HEATSEEKER. Samson was out and the pin was academic. The Upper Class was crowned as KC’S FINEST TAG TEAM, but the crowd didn’t seem to care as Taylor was now getting triple teamed at ringside. ‘Burly’ Bill Taylor made his way out, but was caught up in a double team by Volstead and Sheppard as Patriot continued to brutalize Taylor. Finally, The Associates ran to ringside, which led The Patriot, Volstead and Sheppard to beeline out of the building through the crowd.
(Some of the crowd was milling about afterward as Dr. Jacob Omen, Dr. Sam Sheppard and Nurse Britt Baker tended to Taylor, Samson and Taylor. Those fans that stuck around saw Hugo Lexington come out to check on the three injured men and assist them to the back.)

Awesome to see this back Mad Kanter! Above all, looking forward to the showdown between Lincoln and Cross. Really hoping Cross can topple the champ. Interesting to see what appears to be a more benevolent Judge Hugo Lexington Black. Boy did they F up Louis Lyndon. All sorts of side drama interwoven through the in ring action. KC's Finest Is Back! And not a moment too soon.

Sorry it took so long, but sometimes real life gets in the way. I'm having too much fun to abandon KC's FINEST so rest assured it will be around for a long time.

CONTROVERSY REIGNS AS KC’S FINEST CROWNS NEW CHAMPS
KC’S FINEST wrestling crowned their first KC’S FINEST TAG TEAM, albeit not without controversy.
The Patriot and The Locals In Favor of Prohibition inserted themselves in the tournament final and attacked The Moonshin’ Men of Appalachia, leading to The Upper Class to gain an easy victory and become KC’S FINEST TAG TEAM. A melee ensued following the match as Bill Taylor join the fray, as did the associates, but The Patriot and The Locals were able to flee before damage could be done.
In other action Matthew Cross earned a shot at KC’S FINEST John Abraham Lincoln as a result of his victory over Bill Taylor. After the match Cross exchanged a handshake with Lincoln in the middle of the ring.
Some sad news came from the event as Louis Lyndon was seriously injured at the hands of Sue Jackson after Jackson defeated Lyndon. It is rumored that Lyndon suffered several injuries as Jackson and the father-son duo of Robert Orton, Senior, and Junior viciously attacked Lyndon following the match with Jackson.
Also gaining victories at the event were Kimber Lee, Gregory Iron, The Foreign Legion, the team of Isaias Velasquez and Craig Mitchell, and Niles Young.
