Amazing. I am convinced. This is my WarGames ruleset now. Fantastic work. I just saw this and I'm very glad you like the rules so much! Thanks! Was your WarGames part of an actual card you ran? If so, have you posted it yet? I would love to read your results. Once more, thanks for the compliments and I'm so happy the match worked well for you!

Okay...ran this again tonight...
It was a MUGGING.
The Rat Pack (DDP, Jim Duggan, Ted DiBiase & Steve Williams) vs The nWo (Konnan, Bagwell, James Gang).
Doc and BG started off, and Doc beat the heck out of BG, aided partially by Ted DiBiase giving him the LOADED GLOVE through the cage.
Rat Pack won the advantage...and DiBiase and Doc pushed BG above a Cage rating of 12 before Konnan could even get in the cage.
Konnan came in...and Doc and DiBiase beat him nearly to death as well.
Jim Duggan joined, and the mugging just got worse.
Kip James did some damage to Dr. Death, but not hardly enough...when DDP came in to put the Rat Pack back on the offense.
Bagwell joined in, and he and Kip tried to double-team Duggan, but Duggan made them BOTH eat steel...and moments later wiped Bagwell out with the FLYING SPEAR to knock him out of the match and win it for the Rat Pack.
Just brutal.
I am considering putting BG and Konnan on the shelf...BG ended with 12 tokens and Konnan had 9. I may not even be able to continue this feud after this. Poor dead nWo.

Tommy, I'm guessing you are stoked that Duggan kicked butt. Guess that PIN rating didn't hurt in this match!!! ;D

This was actually the first match that I used the Legends of Mid-South Duggan instead of the official Duggan...so far, so good!

Here is my event from my BATTLEGROUND PPV
MAIN EVENT: WAR GAMES MATCH DARK CRUSADE vs. DIVINE GATHERING - Assassin Z smiled as the cage closed behind him; Xymbiote awaited him inside. Xymbiote attacked but Z smashed him with a Burning Hammer; the fight was on! Z was relentless & piled 9 tokens on the helpless Xymbiote. The opening 5 minutes flew by & all eyes watched to see who won the toss & would gain the first advantage.
Homage entered next; giving the Divine Gathering a 2 minute advantage. Homage & Z charged Xymbiote with a double elbow; Xymbiote ducked & hit both men in the groin. He then bulldogged both men down to the mat. He turned back to Z for a cradle piledriver then hit Homage with an Entry Wound. Top rope leg drop onto Z; Homage grabbed him & pressed slammed him into the cage wall to break his momentum. ABSOLUTE REVERENCE followed; Z hit a Lightning Spiral as time expired & The Reckoning entered to even things up.
Reckoning blindsided Homage with a DIVINE EDGE, then launched him across both sets of ropes into the other ring. He turned back to Z & battered him with punches to set up a big running power slam. Xymbiote leaped in and added an Entry Wound & drove Z head first into the buckle as Reckoning went to fight with Homage in the other ring. Z fought back with a back elbow & then hit Kudome Valentine; Xymbiote was down & Z went to blindside The Reckoning as time expired & Revelation entered to give the Divine Gathering the 3 on 2 (really 3 on 1) advantage.
Revelation grabbed Reckoning & held him for Homage; he climbed to the top turnbuckle & went for a flying clothesline…MISSED! Reckoning slipped away & Revelation was leveled. DIVINE EDGE on Revelation but Homage ran him face first into the cage & hit ULTIMATE HOMAGE twice, ABSOLUTE REVERENCE three times & then ULTIMATE HOMAGE one more time as time expired & The Messenger entered to even things up once more.
THE MESSAGE on Homage!! A running clothesline on Assassin Z that flipped him over the ropes & landed him between the rings; Revelation slammed Messenger head first into the buckle & Messenger responded with an elbow to the jaw & a low blow to reclaim control. Messenger hammered away at Revelation & backed him into the corner as time expired & Stryker enter to aid his partner.
Stryker nailed Messenger with Full Throttle & Reckoning smashed him with a blindside clothesline. Messenger drop kicked Revelation into the cage & the brothers were fighting back to back. Reckoning hit Homage with DIVINE EDGE & as he did so, Assassin Z crushed Messenger with a running knee lift & then a vicious power bomb. ROLLING OLYMPIC HELL then an Ocean Cyclone Suplex hit Messenger as the next member of the Dark Crusade entered.
Reckless immediately hit Assassin Z with FLYING HAZARD & he went hard into the cage. A springboard moonsault hit Stryker & set up a RECKLESS DRIVER; when Reckless pressed the attack, Stryker hit a Cannon Suplex to wrest away control. Full Throttle & a spinning back fist ended a very fast paced segment. Legacy entered giving the Divine Gathering their final man advantage.
Legacy picked up Reckless for INNER PEACE, INNER PEACE, INNER PEACE, INNER PEACE & INNER PEACE…GOOD GOD!! He dropped Reckless to the floor to avoid the charging clothesline of The Reckoning. Reckless hit a low blow from behind but Stryker destroyed him with a missile dropkick out of nowhere followed by K.Y.A.O. & Reckless was down as the final segment came to a close & Totalis sauntered into the ring.
Totalis didn’t seem interested in attacking anyone; the MATCH BEYOND had begun. Xymbiote surged off the mat & drove the back of Stryker’s head into the cage & ground it in. Totalis helped Xymbiote run Stryker face first into the opposite wall & then locked on FINAL ROUND; Revelation tried to save his partner but Reckless took him out. FINAL ROUND again; Reckoning cut off Homage…Stryker just avoids surrender. Xymbiote shoved Totalis aside & Stryker took the opportunity to drive Xymbiote backwards into the ropes & then hit a Titan Drop. In the background, Messenger & Reckoning each clothesline Homage & Legacy with clotheslines. Reckoning blindsides Stryker with DIVINE EDGE & Assassin Z makes the save. DIVINE EDGE again…Stryker doesn’t surrender! Messenger grabs him for a Terminator Piledriver but Legacy grabs two handfuls of hair & sent Messenger face first into the cage. ULTIMATE HOMAGE twice & ABSOLUTE REVERENCE but Messenger fought through it all. ABSOLUTE REVERENCE again & Messenger showed signs of weakening.
Assassin Z came in for a Lighting Spiral & Reckoning made the save. Lighting Spiral again & this time Reckless made the save. Lighting Spiral a third time & everyone was swept up in a wild brawl. Xymbiote fought with Z & Reckless hit him with a springboard moonsault. Legacy helped Z launch Reckless into the cage; they try again but he slips away & drop kicks them both into the cage. RECKLESS DRIVER on Legacy…Homage was there. FLYING HAZARD…Revelation was there. Reckoning helped spike a RECKLESS DRIVER on Legacy & Revelation tried to come to his aid again but Reckless drop kicked him through the ropes. Reckless went up top & hit a shooting star press but Assassin Z was there to send him face first into the cage & then ground his face across the mesh. Reckless elbowed him away & hit FLYING HAZARD; Stryker hit him with a clothesline & then Stryke Zone. The action turned to Homage & Revelation running Messenger towards the cage but he put the brakes on & allowed Xymbiote to hit both with a flying double clothesline. EVOLUTION on Revelation; Legacy was there. Stryker charged in but Xymbiote ducked the charge & The Reckoning caught him for a brutal power slam. Xymbiote speared Assassin Z into the turnbuckle & locked on a tentacle choke followed by EVOLUTION but Z won’t surrender. Totalis tried a flying clothesline on Z as he got back to his feet but he rolled away & Totalis took out Xymbiote instead. Assassin Z drug Xymbiote to his feet…low blow from Xymbiote; he sent Z into the cage…EVOLUTION again…Homage hit him with ULTIMATE HOMAGE! Homage picked him up a bear hug & repeatedly slammed him face first into the cage…Reckless tried to make the save but Legacy nailed him with a Dorodo Mule Kick…Xymbiote is done! Divine Gathering wins the WAR GAMES!!!

Holy jeez Eliath, it sounds like you had the WarGames match to end all WarGames matches! How pleased were you with it?
Tommy: That second match sounded brutal. Sort of lends credibility to the match that it can become so dangerous.
But, the mugging situation can happen fairly easily. And that's just not fun sometimes. I don't know if you guys have been thinking strategically when planning your matches, but I tried to design the War Games to be played that way. For example: It is pretty much a given that no matter what team you are on, your first few entries are going to take a beating.
So, do you send your highest PIN rating in early? He can take the pounding, but will he be too damaged to risk using his powerful offense later on? Or, do you send a weaker guy in first and save your strongest guns for last? Your weaker guys are going to be decimated, by the time the heavy hitters appear. But if you save the weaker guys for last, will they be able to quickly finish The Match Beyond, when there are several hurt people on both sides?
Out of the matches I've played, The Advantage has proven important (as it should be) but I've yet to have an out and out mugging yet. If you guys believe that the total beatdown situation can occur too often, I have a few rules changes in mind that may offset the problem. Also, any suggestions on possible rule changes (if you believe they are warranted) is greatly appreciated!
Thanks for giving the match a try! And thanks for the feedback!

I do it randomly, as I find that to be the only fair way, really, when I am playing both sides.
That mugging worked out fine in the storyline. I had Konnan and Buff pack their bags and leave the LWF. The James Gang went their own way, and even DDP kinda faded away after that. Doc, DiBiase and Duggan just went and picked a fight with the Heenan Family.

All in all, the match went pretty good. I think it needs some kind of hybrid triple threat table adapted just for the situations in this match. It just seemed that some of the wrestlers got lost in the background. Rolling on the double team chart got repetitive because there were so many double teams that occured.
The token/surrender rule seemed a bit complex at first run through. I'm still not sure that I like how it works out; I understand why it is there, but I'm not sure that I like it yet. I will give it a little more thought to see what I would suggest.
I'm also not sure I like the unlimited pin saves; it really had an impact on the outcome of the match for me. Not that I would change the match result, I love the outcome because it only feeds the feud that is going on between the Dark Crusade & the Divine Gathering.
The War Games Chart certainly captured every element that I can remember happening in any of the matches that I watched. Great job on that.
The only other input I have right now is that I would reconsider using the deathjump chart. About halfway through I started using it as an option instead of going to the chart all the time.
I hope this initial feedback is useful. Let me know if I need to clarify anything.
