This was from AJW. The storyline here is student vs teacher. The legendary Akira Hokuto was a trainer/mentor to Mima Shimoda when she first broke into the business. Years later the student brings forward an attitude of having 'surpassed' her senior. Will she prove herself right...or will Hokuto give her a hard way trip through the rough branches of the learning tree? Looking back Mima was the Marty Jannety to Manami Toyota's Shawn Michaels. The two were paired together when first coming up based on their looks...in time they broke apart as their development and success levels would far from parallel.

This was from AJW. This was formated as a 'Hair vs Hair' match. During this period Dump Matsumoto ranked as one of the most commercially effective 'heel' wrestlers of all time. As the chief foil to the mega-popular mainstream crossover Crush Girls she excelled in her role. Dump didn't have the offensive arsenal of future top 'big woman' heels such as Aja, Dynamite or Bull...but her mastery of ring psychology and character projection made her a tremendous storyteller and it showed at the box office. Nagayo was one half of the CG and her ability to play a sympathetic underdog baby face was at an elite level. The pageantry is strong as the sides of heel and face allies are strategically drawn on the outside. The crowd of mostly pre-teen and teenage girls was electric as this match set a ratings records in Japan along with a monster gate. Be forewarned of the sight of blood as fans are shown screaming and crying as one girl ends up humiliated by her hated rival. A dramatic Joshi Classic!
