Commissioner (to both...but mostly to her) - Good morning...
Phantasy - Good morning...
Dark Menace (To Commissioner) - Good morning to you...my friend...(To Phantasy) - Thank you...my dear...if you would excuse us...(To The Commissioner again) - After we are finished this morning...could I trouble you...to show Phantasy around the castle...and the grounds?...I have some business to...attend to...once we are done...
Commissioner (To both...but mostly to her) - Would be my pleasure...
(It was at this precise moment...as The Commissioner shook Phantasy's hand to say good bye...that he noticed...a diamond ring...on the ring finger...of her left hand...he thought to himself...was that there...when she came here...the other night?...he desperately...tried to remember...wait...are they engaged?...)
Phantasy (To Commissioner) - That's very kind of you...thank you...
(As she leaves...The Commissioner believes he senses...the same sort of...anxiety around these two...despite seeing what he believes is an engagement ring on her finger...there's still a dark cloud....hanging above them...and well all of us now...he thought...since all of us have now...unknowingly...signed up...to be a part of..."Dark Menace Forces Inc."...be careful what...you sign for...he thought...can't believe I was so dumb...and was an accomplice...to stiching up all of the wrestlers and myself...into this...a tournament is one thing...but accessories to crimes that none of us have committed...is completely something else):
Commissioner - So...last night's matches...

1. A.R. Fox defeated Sugar Dunkerton via Pinfall courtesy of his 450 SPLASH finisher at the 9 minute mark...

The Dark Menace - So my friend...Sugar Dunkerton becomes the first to fall...
Commissioner - And A.R. Fox becomes the first...to score an elimination...
The Dark Menace - True...
Commissioner - What a match this was...with both wrestlers facing eliminations...they both pulled out all the stops...each and every move...maneuver and reversal were huge...A.R. Fox commanded the offense throughout...but Sugar Dunkerton commanded the defense...as battered...bruised and bloodied as he was...he still kept coming after Fox...even after shaking his head..."No" to Jay Lethal...when Lethal's look asked Dunkerton if he wanted help...
The Dark Menace - Impressive...
Commissioner - After Fox executed his 450 SPLASH back to back...but couldn't score the three count...he went high risk...Fox hit his Suicide Senton back to back to back...the second time breaking both of they're faces open...and the third time...leaping first from the turnbuckle...landing higher on top of the referees shoulders from behind...and then impacting against Dunkerton...
The Dark Menace - Bold move...
Commissioner - Fox came within a hair of being disqualified...and a delerious Dunkerton...still somehow got to his feet...from there Fox launched Dunkerton out of the ring...but Dunkerton impacted hard...once Dunkerton finally made it back inside the ring at a 9 & 1/2 count...he collapsed...Fox...who was injured as well...went for his finisher one last time...after the still grumpy referee raised Fox's arm in victory...Fox went over to Dunkerton...who was exhausted and holding himself up by the ropes...and raised Dunkerton's arm up...turned towards the rest of the wrestlers...and pointed at Dunkerton...all but two...of them clapped...
Dark Menace - Just out of curiosity...who didn't applaud?...
Commissioner - Tyler Black...and Kevin Steen...

2. Sabu defeated Eddie Kingston via Pinfall courtesy of his Hurricanrana at the 3 minute mark...
Dark Menace - It only took Sabu...3 minutes to put Kingston away huh?...
Commissioner - Yes...although Kingston jumped Sabu before the bell...and was able to counter Sabu's vastly greater agility based offense with...power brawling...Sabu was a focused machine...coming within a split second of putting Kingston away...with a magnificent version of his Slingshot Legdrop...then immediately followed up with his TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT...however Kingston just barely escaped it...and retreated outside the ring...
Dark Menace - To regroup I take it...
Commissioner - And cheat...
Dark Menace (smiling) - How?...
Commissioner - Kingstons manager...and fellow tournament competitor...Konnan snuck up behind Sabu over the ring barrier...holding a chain in his hands...with plans to choke Sabu...as most likely...Kingston was going to try to...distract the referee...
Dark Menace (still smiling) - So how did Sabu counter that?...
Commissioner - With Rob Van Dam...
Dark Menace - Huh?...
Commissioner - Van Dam Smashed Konnan from behind with A Steel Chair...which negated Konnan's involvement...from there...Sabu started Punching Kingston repeatedly in the Neck...and after winning the brawl...rolled Kingston back into the ring...to finish him off...
Dark Menace - Weren't Sabu...and Rob Van Dam tag team partners...once?...
Commissioner - Yep...and it would seem that...there's still some chemistry there...
Dark Menace - Anything else with...Homicides wife running off with Sabu?...
Commissioner - Yes...actually...the two of them had a recent confrontation...
Dark Menace - How...did that go?...
Commissioner - Sabu told Homicide that...she just left him (Sabu) too...then Homicide paused for a second...and then kicked Sabu in the balls...after a very high pitched..."We cool?" from Sabu...Homicide paused and said..."Nice Fireball"...so all...I guess...appears to be forgiven...

Commissioner - Raw adrenaline...from the onset of it...he made Sabu look like he was in slow motion...Lance Hoyt simply...never had a chance in this one...
Dark Menace - Can we give Quackenbush...a drug test?...
Commissioner - What!!...You're more loaded...than he is...
Dark Menace (chokes on his sip of whiskey laughing) - Touche...my friend...touche...
(Unbeknownst to all...except Cheeseburger (the man never misses a trick 😊)...from the window of her room...that faces East...Phantasy watched this particular match...with very small...but very powerful...binoculars...Cheeseburger thought she just must...really dig Mike...but she was actually...sizing up Lance Hoyt...to see...his fighting style...and more importantly...how he typically...defends himself).

Dark Menace - Longest match of the night...and my favorite in the tournament...triumphs...
Commissioner - This one was one of the best matches so far...In between his last match and this one...Brodie Lee has been lifting...a lot...of weights in preparation for Tyler Black...because he knew he would be outmaneuvered...and badly...so when he did get his hands on Black...he made sure...he hurt him...
Dark Menace - Was this a see saw match?...
Commissioner - No this was...about 10 minutes of Brodie Lee...Black Hole Slamming...Package Piledriving...Whipping Into Ring Steps and Brodie Bombing...Black...all over the ring area...not to mention...back to back extreme versions of his BIG BOOT finisher...
Dark Menace - So what turned the tide...
Commissioner - A combination of...I'd say...cast iron determination from Black...that drove Lee...absolutely crazy...knocking him off his game plan...and he got sloppy...first...Lee went high risk with a Deathjump attempt...that gave Black just enough time...to gain a second wind...and Black German Suplexed Lee off the top rope...awkwardly...but still effectively...then in a span of about 90 seconds or so...Black took him spart...
Dark Menace - Fantastic...how?...
Commissioner - A Buckle Bomb / Superkick Combo...into three straight Enzuigiri's...with the third one...knocking Lee semi - conscious...and a quick as he could...considering the beating he took...scaling of the ropes...and a picture perfect version of his PHOENIX SPLASH...
Dark Menace - Man's got style...you can't deny him that...first wrestler to go 3 and 0...
Commissioner - He thinks he's...Edouard Carpentier...or somebody...

(This discussion took place between...The Commissioner and Phantasy...as he gave her the cooks tour...of Mcdermott's Castle...and the grounds...of Castle Island):
(The Commissioner introduced Phantasy to all...and showed her around the tower, aka the main structure of the castle including the; Dining Hall, Gymnasium, Hospital, Kitchens, Security Offices, as well as the long circular hallway...that runs basically underneath the 7 foot thick circular castle wall...that interconnects the 32 guest chambers...once they were finished with the tour of the interior...they finished this part of the tour with The Commissioners own chambers...right down the hall from Phantasy's room...Phantasy saw the sunsetting through The Commissioners office window and kidded him by saying):
Phantasy (with a smile) - Now this is a room...I take it...you wouldn't wanna switch...huh?...
Commissioner (also with a smile) - Would you?...
(Phantasy laughs)...
Commissioner (warmly) - But my door...is always open...
Phantasy - (smiling) Good to know...thank you...
(The Commissioner then showed Phantasy the castle grounds...first inside the walls...including the 400 seat wrestling arena...locker areas...and the interior perimeter...he then took her around the island...outside the castle walls...as much as he could...one portion of the island is so overgrown with trees, bushes and undergrowth...its pretty unpassable...her favorite part of the island though...outside the walls...was definitely by the dock...which also faced the west...she thanked him...with a warm genuine smile...that made his knees buckle):
Sami Callihan - So...out of all of that...which you just told me...what really struck...you...the most?...
Commissioner (thinks for a second) - Two things...first...when...I was showing her the wrestlers quarters...out of all of the ones that she saw...the only one that she entered...was Lance Hoyt's...and when she did...she really looked it over...while she made small talk...
Sami Callihan - Like she was...casing...the room?...
Commissioner - Could be...and second...she seemed very...(couldn't help but smile) at ease with me...that usual tension...I've seen around her...was gone...like she can relax some...with me...
Sami Callihan - Hmmm...well...from what you're telling me...I think...The Menace...has probably aimed her...at Hoyt...and that...could be anyone's guess...as to what her objective... actually is...
Commissioner - Makes sense...based off of...what we know...say...what would you say...if me...you and...Mike Quackenbush...had a meeting?...
Sami Callihan - I...would say...great minds...think alike...however...two things...
Commissioner - Uh...huh...
Sami Callihan - First...I agree...we definitely need...to bring Q...into this...and as difficult...as it will be...we have tell him...everything...in order to gain his full trust and...cooperation...and second...

Commissioner - Al Snow won the lockup...and came right at Johnny Gargano...like a freight train...Gargano's brief offenses were...immediately negated each time...by Snow's superior strength...after Snow scored a near fall with a ferocious version of his Snowplex...he through Gargano outside the ring and let him have it...

Commissioner - It definitely had it's moments...as you could imagine...it was a contest of...agility and power moves...versus...rulebreaking and felonious brawling...
Dark Menace - It was longer than the...three other matches combined...
Commissioner - That it was...for the first...five or six minutes or so...it was too close to call...with at least...a dozen momentum shifts...before The Sandman settled in...to executing a long and powerful offense...topped off with three straight versions of his HARDCORE DDT secondary finisher...
Dark Menace - But Lynn...powered through them?...
Commissioner - Yep...then he goaded The Sandman to chase him outside the ring...which enabled Lynn to regroup a touch...and then Lynn German Suplexed The Sandman into...the steel ring steps...
Dark Menace - That sounds brutal...
Commissioner - It took The Samdman until...the count of 9 & 1/2 to re-enter the ring...and then he walked into a second German Suplex...that Lynn executed with absolutely everything he had...trying to finish off The Sandman...but the Sandman kicked out at a 2 & 3/4 count...however...the execution of the maneuver took all that Lynn had left in the tank...and eventually...The Sandman recovered...was the first one off the canvas...and grabbed his SINGAPORE CANE...almost getting himself disqualified...and losing the match anyway...in the process...
Dark Menace - Never would have thought that...The Sandman...would start this tournament...with three straight wins...
Commissioner - I guess...when there's a Billion at stake...there's always way...

Commissioner (more like whispering now) - We know...we know...that horseshit is even inside...my contract...and I am very sorry...for my stupidity here...
(Mike Quackenbush...still trying to absorb the fact of the existence...of The Galaxian Wrestling Federation...coupled with...the contract he had nonchalantly signed...to even get into this...he suddenly grabs the bottle of Aethran Whiskey from the far edge of the table...and takes a hearty swig right from the bottle...he puts it down...then suddenly closed his eyes...and his head spasmodicly shakes...from side to side...for about 6 seconds or so...):
Mike Quackenbush - Sshhitt!...
Sami Callihan - Gotta little bit...of a kick to it...
Commissioner - All four of us...including The Dark Menace...need to come to an understanding...and soon...
Mike Quackenbush (still shaken...but whispering angrily) - That...douchebag...is gonna revise...all of our contracts...so none of us...are in this...friggin...illegal...group of his...and he's gonna do this...before all of us...drowns his ass...at the bottom...of Lough Key...
Sami Callihan - If it's put to him...in that context...then we should be able...to force his hand...but we have to...lean on him...

Commissioner (turning towards the door to see who is slowly coming in...it's Phantasy...wearing a thin and airy... white cotton dress...she was ridiculously stunning...hair pulled up into a long pony tail...and she's holding an unopened bottle of the Aethran Whiskey) - Hello...
Phantasy - Hello...I was wondering if you...were still awake...
Commissioner - Is everything ok?...
Phantasy (thinks to herself...his concern for me...that I see in his eyes...is wonderful) - Oh yes...It's just...spooky weather out and I thought...we could...have a drink...
Commissioner (quickly clears his conference table and gives her plenty of room...) - I'd love too...
Phantasy - I'll open this...and pour us some drinks...
Commissioner - And I'll shut these...windows...(once he's locked them...he pauses for a minute in front of a little mirror...and brushes back his hair some...with his fingers...she smiles...because she finds it cute...):
Phantasy (hands him his tumbler...as she takes hers) - So...what should we drink too?...
Commissioner (thinks for a second) - How about...Now...this moment...
Phantasy (likes it...and relieved that he didn't blow it) - To...Now...
(They both took a drink...almost a little competitively...both with slight smiles afterwards...she drank more):

Commissioner - Of course...(with a smile) my lady...
Phantasy - How'd you get...mixed up in professional wrestling?...you seem like too nice...and gentle...a guy...(but she said it in a complimentary tone)...
Commissioner - I used to be...a pro wrestler...
Phantasy - Really...where did you wrestle?...
Commissioner (gets up from the table to retrieve something) - Sit tight...I'll show you...
(The Commissioner goes over to the top of his dresser and grabs his scrapbook...he comes back to the table and moves his chair closer to hers...and to his hearts delight...she moves her chair closer too...The Commissioner...starts flipping to the middle of the scrapbook...and leaves two pages open...Phantasy leans in closer to the book...and to him...to look and read):

Les Thatcher - Where is he?...or I guess...when is he?...
Phantasy - Somewhere...back in 2126...he dissappeared...and we haven't heard from him...in about six months...and probably won't see him...again...
Les Thatcher (noticed that she said...WE...haven't heard...Dark Menace is connected to this...Sly Drury too) - I'm sorry...
Phantasy (raises her tumbler...and Les does as well...and her toast warms him) - Too...Now...

Sandman continues to surprise. Pariah will like Styles pulling off the win. Glad Gargano won but shame Jigsaw lost (though Taylor losing would have been just as bad)
