Bryan Danielson what a huge let down. I was hoping more from him.
My picks: 1. A.R. Fox ( 0 - 2 ) 2. Eddie Kingston ( 1 - 1 ) 3. Mike Quackenbush ( 1 - 1 ) 4. Tyler Black ( 2 - 0 )

Severn living up to his nickname and Elgin taking down a tough opponent. Morning TTX! Severn did didn't he? I was pretty stoked to see this curmudgeon come back in the standings. Hoping he keeps on keeping on. Lethal came within a fraction of a second of pinning Unbreakable Mike, but it was all Elgin from there. Really curious to see how Big Mike fares in this tournament as well as if his and The Equalizers paths cross. Always grateful man!

I had to go back and check this out from the start Bri. I'm loving this idea and look forward to how it will all turn out in the end. Jay Briscoe over Bryan Danielson was huge, especially with Danielson dropping to 0-2 in the tournament. As usual you have many interesting developments going on around the matches giving it that added flavor. Good stuff my friend. Hey cruefan68! I'm very glad that this idea is worth following compadre. Once I had the spark of an idea I had to figure out a posting style, but I wanted to try posting in a way that I never did before. Also wanted to keep the cards short, match wise. I am really enjoying this tournament and its circumstances, not quite sure how long this will last chapter wise - all up to the wrestlers and the circumstances. It's great having you be a part of this island tournament my friend. Here's to hoping it's worth reading! Go RVD! Gracias brother.

I am right there with you my friend. Was totally pulling for Danielson too - he's in trouble now with two losses. Can't picture him going 3 and out. You were 2 for 4 with your picks for chapter 9. And it was beyond cool that you were picking my man Cheeseburger to take his match over The Sandman. However Cheeseburger has his eyes on a few prises. Let's see how you do with chapter 10's picks. The chapter is half way written - I am hoping to be able to post this one in a couple days (if not sooner). Very much appreciate your support bro!

Dice rarely cooperate with your plans as we all have learned. Very true TTX my man. But that is a big reason why I love this game. Over the long term it's probability but in the short term it's luck. Thanks again!

I really enjoy how even though the wrestling is a huge part of the story, it's not the only story. I love how everything intermingles. I can't wait for the next chapter.

I am really stoked that your experience is exactly what you just said above! My goal here with each chapter is to post the story of the tournament itself (or the "what" I guess) and the circumstances and forces that are driving, governing and or affecting it (or the "why" that its all built on or perpetuated by). I wanted it to be a wrestling tournament for a "billion reasons" as well as a story of a "billion reasons" why all of these paeticular people are here (or involved), in addition to or maybe even in some cases, in spite of, the billion dollar payout. Whether its Cheeseburger & Brodies plan to find and swipe The Unfound...or The Dark Menaces overall reasons for being in hiding and his decisions to start this tournament in the first place... I'm so glad it's enjoyable in both aspects - that's just what I'm trying to convey. I have 2/3 rds of chapter 10 written and I'm hoping to be able to post this soon. More to follow on both fronts, if they (Commissioner & Quackenbush) really want to try to turn this into a fed, they are slowly finding out that they are going to have a lot of obstacles to hurdle and risk to somehow mitigate. If they can arrange it so this tournament can give birth to a fed, and that...is one big If...its going to be a breach birth at best. But since life is messy, I think that would make sense. Really look forward to your take on this my friend. Many thanks again!

If you have followed Bri's various efforts, he goes all out and is just amazing at it. He can bring any celebrity to life, have Sky Low Low and Little Beaver talking to Jim Morrison and it make perfect sense. Also, Bri, I hear a certain devilish trio has been checking out this tournament and may comment after your next set of matches.

I am truly humbled by those words brother, you are very kind to say that. And you know, if there was ever a good setting for The Terrible Trio to weave their magic. This is totally it!! That would be outrageous...they are always welcome!
