I got my ticket for tomorrow night. Anyone else going to see Captain Marvel tomorrow night or this weekend?
(For comic book or Star Wars movies I usually go see them the Thurday night they are released to prevent my 10th grade from spoiling the move for me the next day before I get a chance to see it.)

I saw Captain Marvel tonight.
I don't want to give too much away but the movie starts off much differently from your typical origins movie for superheroes (not a complaint though) at least for Captain Marvel as this is also an origins movie for Nick Fury (it is amazing how well they made Nick Fury look about 25 years younger in this movie.)
The movie does a good job with its mid 90s setting from the vehicles, technology, brands (Captain Marvel at one point crashes into a Blockbuster,) and soundtrack (Captan Marvel for example has a fight scene while the song "I'm Just a Girl" by No Doubt is being played.) Also, the cat Goose was one of my favorite parts of the movie.
The movie has an unexpected turn and at the end during the credits as expected it does tie into Infinity War and Avengers: End Game being released next month. Definitley a movie you should check out if you are going to see the next Avengers movie.
B+. Really good movie, but IMO not among the very best Marvel movies. Also, although I generallty consider Marvel movies better than DC movies, I think Wonder Woman was a little better female superhero movie than Captain Marvel.

I plan on seeing it. Maybe this Tuesday if I can get in and my preferred seat. If too crowded I might wait another week or three. I was so so on it at first but once I saw Skrulls were in it I got excited. I see this not only tying into Endgame but beyond that. I am happy to see a lot of people giving it good reviews and some even surprised by it.

If only Siskel & Ebert were still with us. I miss watching their reviews.
I may go see this soon though...

I saw it yesterday and thought it was a very good origin story. It also set up everything that was to come in the MCU that started in Iron-Man 1.

Weird? The question is was it a planned effort to give it buzz, one person with multiple accounts posting same thing or simply all these people being lazy and copying someone else. I have seen the last one with jokes so not to far a stretch.

I didn't realize, until it was brought to my attention, that Stan Lee was reading the script 'by Kevin Smith' of Mall Rats and rehearsing his lines "Trust me.. true believers." Pretty cool tie in, in the fact CM was set in 1995 and that's the actual year Mall Rats was made.

Just saw this a few hours ago!
VEGAS: Agreeing with you on this, love Goose, LOL! Although I thought it was even better than most Marvel movies (those average Garfield Spideys weren't better than this, nor was either of the Hulks). I really liked the first two X-Men movies even though I'm not an X-Men fan or a Wolverine fan, which I thought were better than CM. I did like CM better than the Han Solo solo movie which was better than I thought it would be and the last Avengers movie, definitely!
KB: Nice catch on Stan Lee! I was wondering what his cameo was going to be!
I'm trying to convince my friend (with a bad back) to go see "Avengers: Endgame" since we saw the last Avengers together, but she can't sit through a 3-hour movie. I may have to go see it alone...
My favorite quote? (?Spoiler Alert?) The one about "lazer tag", LOL!
