That Gulak vs Riddle match may convince me to go to the arena on Saturday night. Still lots of tickets left. about $30 with the booking fee for GA.

I'm sure that we will discuss the Gcon location at Gcon this year. I have a feeling we will be closer to the midwest, although I am loving the shorter trip for me this year. Jamestown has some nostalgia, but there isnt much to do outside of the con. Although its logistically harder for me I would love to go to Chicago. A city I want to see more of, lots of local promoters and tons of live wrestling. Columbus is a good idea as its a good central point for lots of people, but is a haul for me (about 11 hours). I'm also ok with suburban detroit so we can visit Swarm's hive.

Looks like a potential buyer was trying to convert it into office space. Tom having family in Detroit is a good reason for him to want a Detroit area convention. If it ever happens I’d be happy to host an after party at the crib. With more time to plan we can probably find a nice location for the con. |

I found out today at work that I will probably not be teaching this Summer (1st time in about 4 years I have had the complete Summer off) which means I should be able to make it to the Friday night game and CHIKARA show without any problem as that day will not coincide with check out day at work like last year.
Something can still change last minute up until May 31st, but as of now I fully expect to be at Galacticon for all 3 days this year instead of just Saturday and Sunday.

IB and I are planning on going. I’m planning on going this year for the first time. I’ve planned on going a bunch of times in the past but something else always came up like work and one time i had the chance to go to the baseball HOF during the induction ceremony so I decided to do that instead. This year it’s its only about an hour drive from me so that helps too |
