Also, RD Evans was fired from his producer role. Didn't even know he was there doing that.

I haven't seen the ceremony (other than the dude attacking Bret) but who mentioned McMahon? Shouldn't honorees be allowed to say whatever they'd like? Hart mentioned him, then later Billy Gunn jokingly mentioned him, saying something in regards "he can't fire me..." McMahon doesn't care for people mentioning him during the program. Been that way for years. People are told this. Sure they can take/have freedom to speak what they want, it's their time. But in the end, still Vince's company. There are consequences of said freedom. It's a respect thing.

Apparently whatever is going to be said, is reviewed and ok'd prior. Whether Hart went "off script" from what was ok'd? Either way, Evans got the blame. He was supposed to control it, I guess?!
