Pariah, it was a shock to me, for sure. He hit three TRIPWIRES on three different opponents in a short span. One out of nowhere. He's definitely on the radar now.

CWF Newswire
It's official: Commissioner Lance At-Las has confirmed the card for the next episode of Slam! And the Primus Carnage Title Tournament will begin!
As we know, some competitors have already been announced: Star Slayer, Darkest Justice, and, making his in-ring debut, Zealos! But At-Las gave us the full lineup of matches announcing the rest of the names in the tournament.
We were also informed that Magnus Colby held a meeting with the commissioner which saw multiple members of Future Shock entered into the tournament. The rumor-mill is grinding away and one can’t help but wonder if this could affect what seems to already be a fragile alliance if any of them have to face one another.
At-Las went on to explain that the tournament will have 9 competitors and that there will be four matches; three one-on-one contests and one Tirion Triple Threat match!
The full lineup vying for the gauntlets is listed below:
Star Slayer vs Darkest Justice (Stipulation to be decided by Star Slayer) Zealos vs Cringe (Milky Way Falls Count Anywhere) Minister of War vs Splatter (Mensa Table Match) Mayhem vs Evolution vs Tortured Soul (Tirion Triple Threat - No DQ, No Countouts)
We also wanted to provide a quick update on Lord Nexus. Officials were able to confirm that Nexus suffered only minor burns as a result of the fireball that Oracle threw at him at the conclusion of the main event last episode. He's also challenged Oracle to a fight, but apparently Oracle told him he'd have to get past Total Anarchy first... Nexus, naturally, accepted. Meanwhile, Commissioner At-Las announced he'd given Oracle a warning and that he was lucky there was no injury or permanent damage to Lord Nexus or there'd be a whole lot more than a warning.

And we’ll have the contract signing for the CWF Heavyweight Championship match as Mister Centra and Chaos meet face-to-face one last time before their match!

Pariah, I hear you about Saboteur. I think his special mechanic can make him a wild card with an upset here and there, but I'm not sure he has what it takes at this point to be a real threat. Time will tell. A bit of a surprise after his Promoter Prime card from '14 was such a beast of a card. That said, he'll definitely serve a purpose and I'm looking forward to figuring out his best fit going forward. Aside from obvious “it’s a different timeline” caveat, keep in mind that Saboteur 2112 looked much different than Saboteur 2122. Saboteur PP is an upgrade from a couple of years later. The Saboteur in this set is still early in his career and clearly has room to grow.

I didn't even stop to consider the fact that the PP card represented Saboteur (albeit a different version... most likely) in the future. He recently put on a show in an 8-man elimination match I ran, so it's still a great card. Look forward to where you take him next, Mike M

CWF Saturday Slam 004 01.26.2115 from Mecatoid Megadome, Mecatoid Moon Colony, Mecatoid
- CWF News & Notes -
-The Primus Carnage Gauntlets Tournament kicks off tonight and we have two opening round matches!
- Lord Nexus has challenged Oracle to a fight, but the leader of Prophesy said Nexus must earn the right to face him by defeating two of his teammates. Though Commissioner At-Las was likely to tell Oracle that’s not how it works, Nexus said he’s more than happy to tear through the whole team to get to Oracle. As such, a match has been signed between Tortured Soul and Lord Nexus next week! And, to keep things fair, Lance At-Las declared no one be allowed at ring side!
-Also next week, the return of Adam Blast! We’ll here from him later in the show!
- Right now, in our backstage interview area, Ms. Liberty is with Star Slayer to get the stipulation for the main event tonight!
MS. LIBERTY: Star Slayer, these last few months have been an incredible time of upheaval for you. Now, you find yourself locked in one of the more dramatic feuds in the CWF as the FDF takes on members of Future Shock. What’s been going through your mind this past week knowing you get to decide the stipulations for your tournament match against Darkest Justice?
STAR SLAYER: I’ll be honest with you, there’s usually a lot of crazy and a lot intensity going on up here, but this past week… It’s been dialed up to 11! You see, I gotta figure the only two friends I have in this whole alternate timey wimey thing are Lance At-Las and Adam Blast. And I know these vermin. I’ve run in and out of their circles for years. But they never really got to see what makes the ole Slayer tick. They thought they knew. Then they forcibly ejected one of the few people I’ve ever called friend. And now we’re here and it’s a whole new ballgame. Well, almost. Because there is one thing that stays the same, there’s nothing I love more than acquiring a target and then eliminating it with extreme prejudice.
MS. LIBERTY: I take it this means that you’ve chosen the nature of your tournament match in the main event tonight?
STAR SLAYER: Yep.
MS. LIBERTY: And?
STAR SLAYER: (He raises his fist and then extends four fingers and smiles.) Four. Weapons. Of Destruction.
-What an announcement from Star Slayer! One of the most dangerous matches in all of wrestling! That’s our main event! But now, let’s get to the ring for the debut of Zealos and the kickoff of the Primus Carnage Gauntlets Tournament!
- Primus Carnage Gauntlets Tournament - Milky Way Falls Count Anywhere - Zealos vs. Cringe Zealos defeated Cringe with a hammerlock takedown at 3:13 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The madman from the badlands makes his debut! Zealos has already made an impact after coming from the stands to attack members of the roster, including Cringe and Grovel.
This one got off to a quick start and Zealos brawled with Cringe, but Cringe gave it right back to him.
Zealos cut him off with a pile driver out of nowhere and then assaulted him with a foreign object! Cringe was in a bad way and Zealos made the cover for a relatively easy win after a hammerlock takedown.
Zealos will move on in the Primus Carnage Tournament and seems like he'll be a perfect addition to the division!
- Adam Blast Speaks - (Adam Blast is in his home gym, the walls decorated with the ephemera from a legend's career in the squared circle. He has clearly been rehabbing and a sheen of sweat is on his face.)
ADAM: It took some convincing for me to come out of retirement. I don’t think that’s a secret. But once I made the commitment, once I decided this universe had no place for a guy like Adam Traitor, there was no backing down. I knew that. I’ve lived my whole life in this business. And I’ve been beaten down, nearly broken and put on the shelf before... But I've never backed down. I'm a survivor. So if Adam Traitor or Darkest Justice or Prime Colonizer or any of Future Shock think that this is going to put me out. That this is going to keep me from following through on my commitment. Then you are absolutely still living in your old universe! Because I am Adam Blast and this fed is defended! So I’m coming back next week and I’ve got this tag tournament to take care of, but once that’s over… Traitor! Mandrill! Justice! I am going to give you the fight of your lives!
Fraternity vs. Truth and Consequences Nebula defeated Tortured Soul with a CETUS SLEEPER at 18:34 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: Hell of a tag match here. Fraternity picked up a much needed win as Truth & Consequences continue to struggle putting a spotlight on Prophesy of the kind that you have to think Oracle is not a fan.
Nebula ended up being the star of the show here. He battled back and forth with Agony in the early going and used his speed to put the big man off his game.
But it wasn't a runaway for the brothers from Cetus. Agony and Tortured Soul worked well together and were able to lay a beating on Centauri even busting him open with a brutal double team slingshot move that put him face first into the post!
He made a comeback on Tortured Soul, though, and then tagged in his brother. After having hit a couple of brutal dives earlier in the match, Nebula went to the well once more and came up huge! He drove Tortured Soul headfirst into the concrete with a Asai DDT and the former "Cronk Walters" was bleeding black blood!
Agony had to roll him back in to avoid the countout but it was elementary at this point as Nebula locked in the CETUS SLEEPER and the referee called for the bell as Tortured Soul could not continue.
Oracle and Total Anarchy hit the ringside area, but avoided any physicality.
Instead, Oracle gave a new prophecy directed at Nebula: Anger avoided. Pain never felt. But a fall shall come. From great heights to lowest depths. A bright spot in the sky shall succumb to darkness. I have seen it!
Nebula helped his brother in the ring and attempted to ignore Oracle, but whether it was his chilling words or the black blood on his arms from Tortured Soul, he looked shaken as Prophesy languidly made for the back.
- CWF Heavyweight Championship Contract Signing - (Lance At-Las and Ms. Liberty are in the ring together with a small computer drone hovering in the center of the ring displaying the CWF Heavyweight Championship match contract for signing.)
LIBERTY: Fight fans, this is the contract signing for your CWF Heavyweight Championship match! At this time, we welcome to the ring the challenger, hailing from Dimension X, he is a former champion with multiple organizations and the current number 1 contender, this is the King of Verve, Mister Centra!
(Mister Centra makes his way out dressed to the nines and wearing sunglasses. He poses for pictures on his way to the ring, though there is some question as to how many actually want his photo…)
LIBERTY: And, his opponent, accompanied to the ring by the manager of Future Shock, the Magnanimous Magnus Colby, he is your current CWF Heavyweight Champion, also hailing from Dimension X this is Chaos Supreme!
(A suited Magnus Colby steps out onto the entrance all smiles and then turns to the back as Chaos makes his entrance. He’s all business. No smiles. No suit. He looks ready for the fight right this second. They make their way to the ring and there’s a palpable feeling of tension as the fans stand in awe chanting Chaos’ name.)
AT-LAS: All right gentlemen, the point is to keep this civil and simple. Each of you will have a chance to speak after issuing your thumbprint and signature to the contract displayed on the drone pad. Mister Centra, as the challenger, you are first.
(Mister Centra, with flare, with verve, approaches the drone pad and gives his thumbprint and signature, Ms. Liberty then presents him with her mic.)
MISTER CENTRA: Destiny is a funny thing, isn’t it? What a lot of you people don’t know is that when I came here to put a little verve back in your lives, to save you from the doldrums of your current existence, to grace you with the greatest wrestler the universe has ever seen, that I came here because I had no lands left to conquer in Dimension X or Dimension K. I wasn’t on the run. It wasn’t an accident. It was with purpose. With intent. And that intent is to be the CWF Champion you all deserve. The CWF champion with verve. Not this… This big monosyllabic oaf. There is no doubting his credentials. There’s no doubting, Chaos, that you are a serious threat to anyone you step in the ring with, but this is my world you’re living in now! This is my galaxy, my universe, my dimension, my time! And I didn’t need a damn stone to get me here. I don’t need some talisman to give me that little something extra. I AM that something extra! I am the uncrowned CWF Heavyweight Champion. I am the King of Verve. I. Am. Mister Centra! And when I face you in this ring, no stone, no mysterious past, no muscle, and certainly no pip-squeak old rich man, are going to keep me from taking what is rightfully mine! Now follow that, Big Man!
(Chaos is stone-faced. He carries the belt over his shoulder. Saunters to the drone pad and gives his thumbprint and signs. Liberty goes to hand him the mic, but he steps back and Colby takes it from her.)
MAGNUS: Ladies and Gentlemen, in case you’ve been living under a rock these past few months, my name is Magnus Colby and Future Shock proudly presents to you your reigning and defending CWF Heavyweight Champion, Chaos Supreme! (the crowd gives Chaos a huge ovation as he smirks every so slightly) Mister Centra… now, there is little doubt to your credentials. We might not stand in awe of you, but believe me when I tell you, Chaos does not take your challenge lightly. Because Chaos takes no challenge lightly. Your CWF Heavyweight champion did not get to where he is today because of a stone! He did not become the conqueror, the dominator, the Biggest Man, because he puts faith in inanimate objects. No. Chaos become the dominator he is today because he put everything he had into himself. This man built and built and built and put in the blood and the sweat to become the most feared and dominant wrestler in this or any other galaxy, universe, dimension, or timeline. And you may be the King of Verve, but the throne that my client built and sits on is not made of flash and pep and spirit, my client sits on a throne made of the broken bodies of the scores of challengers he’s dominated in this ring! He’s not one for flash, because he doesn’t have to be. He, though I may be, is not one for long speeches, because he doesn’t have to be. He’s not one for all of these fans who clearly are in awe of him, because he does not have to be! Because when all the pomp and circumstance recedes, when the lights have dimmed, and the smoke has cleared, this man next to me, your dominator, will still be the reigning, the conquering, the DOMINATING CWF Heavyweight Champion. And you? You, your highness, your most puissant King of Verve, will be just another body added to the throne of the true king of the CWF!
(Magnus flips the mic from his hand as Chaos lifts the title in the air and smirks at the challenger and even commissioner and Ms. Liberty in turn. Mister Centra is seething, but there’s little doubt that Colby’s words have whipped the fans into a frenzy. They want this match right now! Chaos turns to Centra… The size difference is clear as they “face” off. At-Las wedges between them to keep them for coming to blows. Mister Centra continues to talk trash at Chaos. Finally Chaos laughs and exits the ring with Magnus Colby as we cut to commercial.)
- Primus Carnage Gauntlets Tournament - Four Weapons of Destruction - Star Slayer vs. Darkest Justice Darkest Justice defeated Star Slayer with a ROD OF INJUSTICE at 13:12 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: This brutal match is easily the most hardcore bout in the new era of CWF.
Star Slayer scored first by blocking a shot with the stun rod and then leveling Darkest Justice with it!
But it was hard to keep the dark one down as he evened the odds with a shot of his own. Slayer, not to be outdone, came right back with one of his own! The fans are eating this up!
MAD MAT! 1... 2... NO! Star Slayer nearly got the early win, but the match continues and Darkest Justice has been busted open!
Another MAD MAT attempt is stuffed by the bloody Justice and he takes over. Clearly hurting, he establishes a methodical pace and begins hitting some of his high impact moves.
He smashes Star Slayer head first into the barbed wire turnbuckle! Not once, but twice! And Slayer has been opened up!
Seeing the crimson flowing, Darkest Justice goes in for the kill!
SHOCK PROBATION! 1... 2... NO! Incredible! How did Star Slayer get the shoulder up?
They take the match to the outside and brawl around the ringside area. Star Slayer mount a huge comeback and hits the Cosmic Big Bang, but Justice rolls outside before Slayer can capitalize.
Darkest Justice suckers him in and hits Police Brutality, grinding Star Slayer's bloody face into the mat. He then hits Shine the Spotlight and has Star Slayer out in the middle of the ring...
Darkest Justice grabs his weapon of choice... ROD OF INJUSTICE!
1, 2, 3! This was a hardcore war and though the fans are disappointed Star Slayer came up short, there's no denying Darkest Justice earned this one.
Lance At-Las is out to check on Star Slayer and Prime Colonizer makes his way down to trash talk and try to intimidate the commissioner! Slayer is up, but on shaky legs... What?!?! Slayer dives over the top rope taking out Justice and Mandrill! At-Las can't believe it. He goes to the outside and soon all four men are locked in a brawl!
Officials are out, but here comes Slaughterhouse and Minister of War! Wait a minute! The Galactic Rebels are here! This is insanity! All 10 men going at it as we fade to black!
Overall Card Rating: 3.50

DJ and Slayer delivered the goods in that bloody main event... Too bad only one could advance to the next round of the tournament... Also can't wait to see the fallout from that five-on-five brawl that closed out the show...
Magnus is killing it on the mic which allows Chaos Supreme to focus on what's really important - Defending that title and making his challengers BOW in DEFEAT...
Your format does a brilliant job of making the audience feel like they're witnessing a live event... A couple quick questions (and my apologies if they've been asked before)... How do you determine the match times? And is there a gameplay mechanic that you use for drawing blood or is it discretionary on your part?
Truly exciting stuff, my friend... You've got me on the edge of my seat!
