Thanks so much, Pariah. Really appreciate the comments. I really wanted that promo from Magnus to feel real and give him a voice. Obviously some Heyman influence there, but hopefully it doesn't feel like a carte blanche pastiche. It feels right to me to keep Chaos mostly silent. For now. I was hoping Slayer would pull out the win, but Darkest Justice is one tough customer. And I'm looking forward to bringing you that fallout to the post-match brawl very soon! Thanks for the questions too! My formula for match timing is imprecise to be sure, but the general rule is taking the actual match time and multiplying it by 1.5. I'll usually roll my matches with that in mind, so at times if there's an impactful moment or an instruction like "they brawl around the ringside area...", I'll take a little time between rolls. Opposite is true for most strikes. A series of punches or forearms will probably be rolled with more rapidity. It's also allowed me use real world times for time limits, too: 10 minutes for 15 min, 20 min for 30 min, and 40 for 60 min. My blood mechanic more or less follows the suggestion in the handbook. Once a wrestler gets 3 tokens, they're open to getting color. But I usually associate a move with it. If it makes sense for the move that gave the 3rd token, I'll say it busted them open. Otherwise, I'll wait for a move that makes sense to do it. The amount of blood is usually discretionary, but if they accumulate 6 tokens or more it's a bloodbath. Again, really appreciate the feedback and the questions. Glad you're digging the format and following along. I don't think it's any hyperbole to say that your output these past few years has really inspired quite a few of us step up our games. Loving the creativity all across the board and especially the CWF feds! Couldn't ask for a better time to be a Filsinger Games fan!

CWF NEWSWIRE
With 4 episodes of CWF Saturday Slam in the books, Commissioner Lance At-Las had announced the next super card date and location! On Sunnday, February 17, 2115, emanating from the Warrior Center in Tarkania on Centra Prime, CWF SHOCKWAVE!
Matches already schedule include: - CWF Heavyweight Title Match - Mister Centra vs Chaos © - CWF Tag Team Title Match - TBA vs Reckoning - Primus Carnage Gauntlets Match - TBA vs TBA *And more!
A recent “CWF Spectator” podcast speculated on the unity of Future Shock. Going so far as to say that Future Shock seems to exist in theory only. Magnus Colby, other than flanking the CWF champ everywhere he goes, seems to be directing things mostly behind the scenes. He petitioned for multiple Future Shock members to be in the Carnage tournament. But did it backfire? The next episode of Slam may have some answers as Minister of War meets his teammate, Splatter, in a Mensa Table Match!
Speaking of Colby, his comments during the contract signing on the last episode of Slam has been the talk of Centra. CSN has been running clips all week and the entire system is buzzing about the upcoming match. If there was any doubt, this show will sell out fast!
Also, Commissioner Lance At-Las has promised to address the post-match brawl after the main event on our last card. The Commissioner himself was involved as he was checking on Star Slayer after his brutal loss to the unforgiving Darkest Justice when all hell broke loose. So many threads to this story: Mandrill and At-Las, Darkest Justice and Star Slayer, Evolution and Minister of War, and not to mention the returning Adam Blast and currently suspended Adam Traitor. It’s a powder keg to be sure and something will have to be done.
You won’t want to miss CWF Slam this Saturday!

Along with the domination of Chaos Supreme and Mister Centra chasing the top prize, there seems to be another popular theme among the feds of our fellow promoters -- Just how cohesive is Future Shock as a whole?
It seems like the group can probably be broken down into four subgroups...
- Chaos Supreme w/ Colby always at his side - Minister of War, Mayhem Unleashed & Splatter - Adam Traitor & Darkest Justice - And Prime Colonizer stands alone
So the question becomes -- Who will try to boost his own reputation by being the first to break from this alliance?
Good times!

CWF Saturday Slam 005 02.02.2115 from Westland Pavillion, Westland, Centra Prime
- CWF News & Notes - -Adam Blast makes his in-ring return after being out of action for the past few weeks after a minor back injury at the hands of Adam Traitor and Prime Colonizer.
-Speaking of, we know Reckoning, the team of Doomsayer and Revolver, have advanced to the finals of the CWF Tag Team Title Tournament. Will it be Command & Control or Prophesy that joins in the final match to decide the champs at SHOCKWAVE!
-Evolution has stayed mostly silent after the backstage attack that busted him open a couple of weeks ago, however, Ms. Liberty will have an in-ring interview with the Galactic Rebel tonight!
-The latest “CWF Spectator” ran a report about Lance At-Las’ involvement with the post match of last week’s main event. Apparently there is a concern among some about At-Las being able to separate himself from the in-ring action and making fair, unbiased decisions. At this time, however, it appears to be nothing but speculation, as he’s not made any questionable behind the scenes choices. The Spectator, however, says it’s only a matter of time…
-Speaking of, Lance At-Las has made his way to the ring to address the fans!
LANCE: In light of the events at the end of last week’s Slam, I have a couple of things I need to address. First, it was never my intent, as commissioner, to get involved in any physical confrontation with members of Future Shock. Especially in a match that I was not scheduled to take part in. However, after the brutality between Dark Justice and Star Slayer, I felt it necessary to check on a fellow member of the FDF and things just got out of hand from there. Obviously, there are tensions between many members of this roster and in light of the new era beginning and competition being at a high, these tensions are beginning to boil over. Scratch that, they’ve BEEN boiling over since the initial press conferences. So, to address these tensions, in the interest of not only giving the fans what they want, but also attempting to offer a level playing field to all those involved, I am signing a 10-man elimination tag team match in two weeks time. Adam Traitor’s suspension will have been served and it will be the Future Shock team of Vengeance, Mandrill, Slaughterhouse, and Adam Traitor taking on the FDF and Revolver and Evolution! As I expect Magnus Colby to be at ringside for his team, Doomsayer has volunteered to second our team. And, to make things even more interesting, any wrestler remaining when the smoke clears will be granted a match of their choice with any opponent of their choosing!
Lord Nexus vs. Tortured Soul Lord Nexus defeated Tortured Soul with THE APEX at 16:33 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Nexus is willing to jump through all of Oracle's hoops to go one-on-one with the man that went so far as to toss a fireball at his face. Narrowly avoiding injury, Nexus accepted Oracle's provision of beating Tortured Soul and Total Anarchy in singles matches first.
Nexus was a ball of fire to start off and almost finished the zombie warrior off early, but Tortured Soul proved himself nothing if not resilient. He took the best Nexus had to offer and kept coming back.
Soul scored big with a lariat and a tombstone, but Nexus came back and was never in serious trouble again as he brutalized Tortured Soul in and out of the ring.
In fact, in a move eerily reminiscent of Nebula's Asai DDT, Nexus hit a springboard hurricanrana to the outside that drove Soul into the guardrail face first and split him open! Soon his face covered in that black blood!
Back inside Nexus worked over the arm and neck of Tortured Soul before scoring with a Flying Titan, another off the ropes, and then hit THE APEX for a decisive 1, 2, 3!
Nexus looked at the camera and said "One down, one to go. Oracle, I'm coming for you!"
The fans were fully behind the Heritage member and are clearly looking forward to him getting his hands on Oracle!
- Evolution In-Ring Interview - (Ms. Liberty is in the ring and welcomes Evolution down. He gets a good reaction from the crowd and is looking all business.)
MS. LIBERTY: Evolution, two weeks ago, you suffered an attack while your teammates were in the ring competing in the CWF Tag Team Title Tournament. I wanted to get your feelings on what happened and what’s next for you.
EVOLUTION: Cowards. Cowards, one and all. I am not surprised. I am not shaken and I would expect nothing less. While my partners were in the ring taking care of business. Vengeance and his goons beat me with arsenal, chains, and a spike… But, as they say, they made one mistake in not finishing the job! I’m still standing! And I will have my revenge! One by one. And even though things from that night are a little hazy and clouded with my own blood… It was Splatter who hit me first, so that’s where we’ll start! I’m asking right here in front of this Centra audience, Lance At-Las… Grant me a match at Shockwave! A Falls Count Anywhere match! Against Splatter!
MS. LIBERTY: A falls count anywhere match with Splatter!?! And what about Mayhem and Vengeance?
EVOLUTION: Well, first things first, Liberty. But let’s just say that I hope the CWF is ready for blood and steel. Because I’m not looking to wrestle these jackals, I’m looking for a fight! And it will be anything goes all the time, every time!
MS. LIBERTY: In light of the fact that the Minister of War and Splatter are about to do battle in a tables match, I don’t think that will be a problem. Speaking of, do you think Future Shock is actually holding together as a team? And will they function as one in the mammoth 10-man tag match Lance At-Las has signed?
EVOLUTION: You know… On Aethra we do plenty of heinous things to one another. But truth be told, there’s a lot of respect for those willing to fight. Even your opponents. Now that certainly isn’t the case for my feelings about anyone in Future Shock other than Chaos. I see treachery at every step and they’re out for blood. But whether we see 5 individuals or a team come two weeks time, they will not be taken lightly. Personally, I don’t much care if they’re together or not. I’m happy to exact my revenge one by one and you can bet that I’ll be gunning for Vengeance in that 10-man. Of course, if he stabs enough people in the back, maybe my team won’t be the only ones wanting a piece of him.
(The Minister of War makes his way out with a mic.)
MOW: P3… Oh what might have been… I want you to pay very close attention to what comes next. I want everyone to pay attention. Splatter is a warrior. Something you would know nothing about. He is willing to sacrifice his body at the altar of pain and torment for the greater good of Future Shock. Little birds buzzing in the breeze carrying their insinuations from tree to tree will never get in the way of what Future Shock came here to do. You see, Ms. Liberty. Future Shock is fine. And when I draw the blood of my comrade it does not make us weaker. No, it makes us stronger. So pay attention, Evolution. I am about to commence my lesson plan in pain. And misery. And it is something you will become ever more familiar with as I lead you down my sadistic road. Before this is over, I will paint every arena in this system with your blood and I’ll string your eyes around my neck as a trophy. You’re not ready for this… But I am!
(Liberty is disgusted, but Evolution is enraged. He starts up the ramp for Vengeance, but officials come out to meet him as they keep the two separated… For now…)
- Primus Carnage Gauntlets Tournament - Mensa Tables Match - Minister of War vs. Splatter Minister of War defeated Splatter with an Eye Cleaver at 15:35 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: This was unsettling...
First off, we know Magnus Colby petitioned Lance At-Las to stack the Primus Carnage tournament with Future Shock guys. A total of 4 of the 9 names in the tournament. It seemed overwhelmingly likely that members of Future Shock would have to meet in the hardcore contests typical of Primus Carnage matches. In a pre-match interview, Minister of War said that there's nothing wrong with lining friend and foe alike up and seeing who comes out on top. Even if it means some friends don't get back up...
Splatter, meanwhile, seemed to be treating this like any other match, regardless of his opponent.
The match opened with Splatter on top and he busted Vengeance open early with MEET ARSENAL! No tables were yet broken, though, so the match would continue.
The Minister of War would make a comeback, though, and then decimated Splatter. The match became difficult to watch as Vengeance targeted the eyes and head and neck. Splatter would not stay down for long, though.
Eventually, Minister of War hit the Eye Cleaver and three consecutive AETHRAN MASSACREs. Splatter was soon a gory mess and some fans were shocked into silence by the brutality and bloodiness of the bout.
Miraculously, Splatter made a comeback and further opened Vengeance up with The Shredder. He then set up a table and put Vengeance on it before hitting an elbow drop through it!
To exhausted and suffering from blood loss, Splatter could not capitalize and soon found himself on the defensive again as Vengeance made a comeback. Another AETHRAN MASSACRE and then Vengeance put Splatter through a table with a top rope splash.
As Vengeance, a bloody mess himself, pulled the limp blood covered Splatter from the splinters of the table, he applied the Eye Cleaver yet again and the referee immediately called for the bell as he determined Splatter could not continue.
Vengeance was able to walk from the ring on his own with a sick grin twisted on his crimson masked face, while Splatter had to be stretchered from the arena... This can't be what Magnus Colby wanted, can it?
The ring canvas is stained in blood and the fans are stunned by the level of brutality witnessed...
- CWF Tag Team Title Final Four - Command and Control vs. Oracle & Total Anarchy Total Anarchy defeated Star Slayer with a DQ at 6:51 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: In his return match, Adam Blast made a huge statement about his fighting spirit. Unfortunately the bout did not end how he wanted it to.
Oracle stared intently at Blast and threw a punch, but Blast blocked hit the Freedom Flyer and then two consecutive ADAM'S ATOMIC DROP!
Anarchy broke up the pin the second time and Blast tagged in Star Slayer and they hit a double team as Adam hit the Megablast and then Slayer hit a Tomahawk Thrust!
Slayer went up top immediately for the MAD MAT, but Anarchy pushed him from the top and Oracle took over! Star Slayer was incensed, but hurting and Oracle hit Eternal Guidance and tagged in his partner.
Total Anarchy went to work after stealing the advantage, but when things spilled outside, Slayer let his emotions get the better of him and ignored the referee's warnings and Adam Blast's, for that matter, and smashed Anarchy with his blast, drawing a disqualification.
Not the way Command & Control wanted to end their bid in the Tag Team title tournament...
Commissioner At-Las is out and admonishes Star Slayer for taking his frustrations out that way. Adam Blast is clearly disappointed, but tries to stand by his partner. Slayer is still hot as Oracle and Total Anarchy stand in the ring victorious. Oracle has a gleam in his eye and a sly half-smile on his face as the show goes off the air.
Overall Card Rating: 3.25

GWF NEWSWIRE-Magnus Colby issued a statement following the last episode of Slam:
COLBY: I have nothing but respect for Lance At-Las and the job he has done thus far as both commissioner and in-ring competitor. I also have the utmost confidence in Future Shock to weather any storm. After all, with everything this team has been through, some fresh tensions in our newfound home will certainly not spell doom for our union. Future Shock is more than up to the challenge of the 10-man elimination match. In fact, upon our victory, I would be disappointed if the winners didn’t immediately throw out a challenge to Chaos for the CWF Heavyweight Championship. Competition has always bred superiority and Future Shock is here to prove our superiority in every way. I think Vengeance was able to prove the lengths to which we are willing to go in the spirit of competition. Further, Splatter has taken steps to prove that in spite of the beating he took, that the whole is greater than the individual. He’ll take this week off, for sure, but be back in time for the main event at the final Slam before Shockwave. In fact, to prove our unity… I would like to offer a contract for a tag team match on the very next Slam… Chaos will team with the Prime Colonizer to take on Mister Centra and a partner of his choosing! My clients and I await your answer.
-Lance At-Las took little time to respond and in an interview on CSN, the commissioner confirmed that he will team with Mister Centra in the main event of our next card! -At-Las also remarked that Star Slayer may have cost Command & Control a spot in the finals of the CWF Tag Team Title Tournament, but that the heightened tensions have everyone on edge. Slayer has apologized for the use of his blaster in the match. -Adding to that, Command & Control will face Fraternity on the next Slam! It would appear, based on our nascent new era’s rankings, that the winners will have a legitimate claim to #1 contendership after we crown our tag team champs! -As mentioned earlier in the show, Splatter sustained multiple minor injuries as a result of the brutal tables match against Vengeance, however, the hardcore brawler has not only accepted defeat to his teammate, but vowed to return and fight with Future Shock in the 10-man! -Also signed for the next Slam, Lord Nexus continues his journey to fighting Oracle in a match against Total Anarchy! CWF Saturday Slam 00602.09.2115 from Paradise Palace, Paradise Island, Tarkania Sea Command and Control vs. Fraternity Lord Nexus vs. Total Anarchy Chaos Supreme and Prime Colonizer vs. Mister Centra and Lance At-Las

Nice display of solidarity by Blast to close out the show... But, Slayer's hot head is gonna get real old, real fast... Especially if it costs them another big opportunity...
MoW and Splatter stole the show with that brutal and bloody performance... And Colby had some interesting comments afterward... Would he really feel the same if MoW or PC decided to pursue Chaos for the top prize?
Looking forward to the next episode... Is Mister Centra able to co-exist with the commissioner or will Colby's team steamroll their way to a quick victory? Gonna be lots of fun!

CWF Saturday Slam 006 02.09.2115 from Paradise Palace, Paradise Island, Tarkania Sea
- CWF News & Notes - -BREAKING NEWS! Lance At-Las has announced the Tirion Triple Threat match in the Primus Carnage Gauntlets Tournament will take place tonight! Further, the semi-final matches will open CWF Shockwave!
LANCE: Though Primus may be off-limits, we know that the Carnage Gauntlets were traditionally decided in day long tournaments there. To honor the history of the title, I thought it fitting that the competitors have to wrestle more than once. So we're scheduling the semi-finals AND finals for SHOCKWAVE!
-Lance At-Las went on to say that the match stipulations will be decided on the next episode of Slam as the competitors will roll the dice to determine how they will square off. The finals will, of course, be the Primus Carnage Gauntlets Match.
-We now know that it will be Reckoning facing the Prophesy team of Oracle and Total Anarchy in the finals of the CWF Tag Team Title Tournament. Lance At-Las has signed a singles match for Doomsayer against Total Anarchy on next week’s Slam!
-Additionally, Lord Nexus will continue his path to Oracle in a match against Total Anarchy! Can he get past the mysterious big man brawler? Or will his road to Oracle be cut short?
-Adam Traitor returns from suspension next week and will be thrown directly into our massive main event as Future Shock takes on the FDF and Galactic Rebels!
-We’ve got some tag action to open things up and the winner of this match just might have a claim to the first challenge to our new champs after Shockwave! Let’s go to the ring.
Command and Control vs. Fraternity Nebula defeated Adam Blast with a COSMIC BIG BANG at 2:45 Match Rating: 0.10 Match Notes: Whoa! The result cannot be seen as a shock, but the speed and dominance with which it occurred has to be.
Nebula avoided and elbow smash and hit a double leg take down and Adam Blast seemed to have tweaked his recently recovered back. Nebula followed up and then made a quick tag to Centauri for the beautiful double team springboard clothesline maneuver and then after a brief bit of work on his own another tag and the brothers hit COSMIC BIG BANG!
Centauri cut off the ring from Star Slayer and Nebula scored the 1, 2, 3!
Fraternity, after a stunning first round loss in the CWF Tag Team Title Tournament are quickly reestablishing themselves as the best tag team in the CWF.
Star Slayer sees to Adam Blast after the match and then, humbly, goes over and shakes the hands of Fraternity as Adam Blast, who does the same, looks on appreciatively.
After blowing his top last week, Star Slayer seems to have taken a more zen-like approach to this match...
- Primus Carnage Gauntlets Tournament - Tirion Triple Threat - Mayhem Unleashed vs. Evolution vs. Tortured Soul Mayhem Unleashed defeated Evolution with a LEAP OF DOOM at 41:86 Match Rating: 4.75 Match Notes: The Primus Carnage Gauntlets Tournament has brought us some brutal brutal matches and this one, while not being quite as disturbing as the Mensa Table match, came close.
By the end all three were busted open, but Evolution requires medical attention.
It was an incredible display by the youngster as he absorbed huge amounts of punishment early, but came roaring back and nearly won the match on two separate occasions.
He and Mayhem brawled all over the ringside area and drew blood on one another, Mayhem first after a chain shot to Evolution, but then Evolution would get payback after dropping Mayhem with a DDT on the concrete!
Tortured Soul laid low for a while, but Evolution brought him back into the much and would open him up with a chair shot on the outside and unlike others who have seen the undead bleed black, Evolution was not phased by it. Unfortunately, the zombie came back with a vicious chair shot of his own.
Evolution, showing grit and determination beyond anything we've seen in the CWF thus far, came back again. He was covered in blood and barely able to stand, but he scored a near fall on Tortured Soul before slipping up and allowing the Zombie to come back and put him down with the Zombie Skull Crack.
Mayhem came running into the ring, dropped Soul with chain shot and then hit the LEAP OF DOOM for the 1, 2, 3 on Evolution.
Vengeance made his way out and slid into the ring, helping his bloody teammate up and standing over the crimson masked Evolution.
"Lesson 1 has ended!" With those words Vengeance bent over and dabbed his fingers in Evolution's blood before painting his face with it and then licking his fingers!!!
Doomsayer and Revolver are out! Doomsayer has a towel and begins seeing to Evolution while Revolver stands guard and the Gladiators head to the back, victorious.
Lord Nexus vs. Total Anarchy Lord Nexus defeated Total Anarchy with a Nexus Armbreaker at 23:09 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Incredible bout. Another MOTYC.
Nexus came out swinging and used his speed to score big early, but Anarchy would pop back up and start targeting Nexus' head and neck.
Nexus hit a dive early that had the fans chanting his name and "The End".
But the match was just getting started and there was so much back and forth, it was hard to call.
Nexus would press his advantage with high impact moves, but then Anarchy would come back with his own offense including a pair of Crucifix Drops that would've leveled a lesser competitor.
They literally threw everything and kitchen sink at one another and both men were busted open towards the end of the match.
Nexus built a head of steam and hit an Asai Moonsault! Anarchy barely beat the count getting back in and Nexus would follow up with The End and then THE APEX! 1... 2... NO!!!! Anarchy shocked everyone by getting the shoulder up!
Anarchy used his power to take the advantage back again, somehow. But Nexus made a quick comeback of his own, typifying this see-saw match and hit a huge ensugiri!
Nexus Armbreaker! 1, 2, 3!
Nexus gets the win! He now has his sights set on Oracle! And Oracle hits the ring! Knee strike to Nexus!
Wait a minute! Here's Saboteur from the crowd! TRIPWIRE! Oracle has been laid out! Nebula and Centauri are down to guard Nexus as Saboteur slips out into the crowd again!
- Ms. Liberty Interviews... - (Ms. Liberty is at a concession stand with none other than Saboteur!)
MS. LIBERTY: Saboteur, you’ve remained silent since your star-making performance in the 8-man elimination match a couple of weeks ago. But tonight, all that changed.
SABOTEUR: Prophesy has been put on notice. You might be looking over your shoulders, you might be on your toes, but you will never see the Tripwire coming!
(And with that, Saboteur is off again and disappears around a corner.)
Chaos Supreme and Prime Colonizer vs. Mister Centra and Lance At-Las This match ended in a draw (Double DQ) at 8:22 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: The fans were hot for this one even after the last two barn-burner matches.
Mister Centra and Mandrill started things off and went back and forth briefly before Centra took over. He made a cocky tag to At-Las and told him to take care of his light work.
Tho none to happy with Mister Centra's attitude, he had no problem obliging as he took the fight to Prime Colonizer big time!
Mandrill was reeling after a pair of Stargazers, but still got the shoulder up after a CENTRA LEG SWEEP.
Smelling blood, Centra made a blind tag and came in as At-Las shook his head.
Centra even busted Mandrill open after Forced Eviction! The Colonizer came down hard, hitting his forehead on the apron and came up bloody.
Chaos seemed impatient and bored with the proceedings.
A Skull Smasher was followed by an incredible suicide dive that sent both men to the floor and the crowd couldn't help but applaud Mister Centra's athleticism.
Magnus Colby was trying to get Mandrill to his feet, but tossed a few insults Mister Centra's way! Centra gave chase and grabbed a chair, but was met by Chaos!!!!
The fans popped big as the two had a standoff.
At-Las tried to get his partner back in the ring, but he was shoved off and into Colonizer. Things finally broke down and all four began to brawl!
The ref tried to separate Chaos and Centra only to be pushed into the ring post!
The bell would ring moments later as a double DQ was called for!
Colby began berating the ref saying Chaos didn't touch him! And that Centra should be DQ'd, not his team!
At-Las got on the mic and said Magnus had stepped in it this time... If his team can't win the 10-man main event next week... He will be banned from ringside at SHOCKWAVE!
Overall Card Rating: 3.21
