What an absolutely crazy main event... With three competitors being eliminated via DQ and no less than three members of Team At-Las (including At-Las himself) surviving until the end... Not sure how Evolution or Revolver will cash in their golden opportunities, but I'm really interested to see how At-Las chooses to spend his own... Will he hold onto it for a rainy day in case a specific individual needs to be taught a lesson? Or will he opt for a title shot? Either way, it could lead to some wild scenarios for the commissioner... Zealos looks to be fighting an uphill battle against the members of Future Shock, but I still have faith that he will be wearing the Gauntlets when the dust clears... Also really enjoy how you're writing Oracle... It's always fun to try digging into his cryptic quotes... Awesome stuff, as always! Thank you, sir! I'm enjoying Oracle and his prophecies. Always have fun with stuff like that. It's funny, when I first wrote for him 10 years ago, I actually injected more comedy as I felt like he didn't have the skills to compete at a level that this version does. He was Tricks' flunky, really. Tricks was the sociopathic nightmare clown, I used Oracle to balance him out a little. That said, I think Magnus Colby and Vengeance are my two favorites to write for right now. Zealos has really performed exactly how I hoped he would. And that will be reflected when I post the SHOCKWAVE card shortly. Deceptively tough little card, really. That main event did not go how I thought it would, but I'm actually very pleased with how it played out. Especially Vengeance's DQ and Evolution getting one of the golden opportunities... Thanks again for following along and engaging. Makes the fun even more fun :-)

That elimination match was crazy. Fun to see Total Anarchy beat Chaos Supreme in one fed and lose to Doomsayer in another. Haha! I know what you mean. Total Anarchy has thus far under-performed in singles matches, but his tag performances with Oracle have been strong. Of course, I'm not giving up on him. He's got an incredible card with a great finisher mechanic. He'll have opportunities down the road. Thanks for the continued commentary! Much appreciated.

Great format and show! One of the top CWF feds on the boards for sure. Thanks, @aplex. Means a lot. I'm really having a lot of fun with this one. Fewer wrestlers means more focus on storylines and shorter shows (if you can actually call them that, haha) means I get to have some slow builds without anyone really getting lost in the shuffle. Thanks again for following along and commenting!

CWF SHOCKWAVE 02.17.2115 from Centra Palladium, Centrapolis, Centra Prime
- Primus Carnage Gauntlets Tournament- Circus Cell Match - Mayhem Unleashed vs. Zealos Zealos defeated Mayhem Unleashed with a ZEALOS BREAKER at 10:22 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: The danger inherent with stepping into the Circus Cell is not lost on these men. Usually reserved for the most intense feuds, the Primus Carnage Title allows for these bouts to simply test the mettle of competitors. And test them it did.
Mayhem made a big statement right out of the gate as he screamed and stomped before hitting a kick, a sidewalk slam, and then the LEAP OF DOOM! But Zealos got the shoulder up.
Things immediately went to the outside and the cage came into play.
Zealos was busted open after being catapulted face first into the steel. Mayhem would grind the bloody face of the Tarkanian into the cell on numerous occasions, but Zealos proved his toughness by coming back!
He would punish Mayhem by driving him into the cell wall with a spear, but it didn't break!
He tried to choke the Aethran out on the ropes, but the Gladiator came back and soon Zealos was covered in his blood after being whipped repeatedly into the exposed steel of a turnbuckle!
Somehow, after being brutalized, Zealos found the strength to not only comeback but climb to the top of the cell. As the bloodied man stood atop the cell battling it out with Mayhem, a small Zealos chant started!
He power bombed Mayhem through the top of the cell!!!! Oh. My. God.
Mayhem, the crazy SOB is still moving, tho! Zealos climbs down and immediately slaps on the ZEALOS BREAKER! Mayhem immediately taps out as he is overcome with pain.
What a victory for the Tarkanian... But how much will he have left for the finals?
[Zealos = 6 tokens, Mayhem = 4 tokens (3 just from falling through cage), Mayhem injured for 4 cards!]
- Primus Carnage Gauntlets Tournament - Total Anarchy - Darkest Justice vs. Minister of War Minister of War defeated Darkest Justice with a running slam through a video screen at 18:58 Match Rating: 4.75 Match Notes: Vengeance is carnage. He said those words on the last episode of Slam and here he continued to prove that.
Even though, by all accounts, the Minister of War has a lot of respect for Darkest Justice as a competitor and teammate, he showed him absolutely no quarter.
Justice suffered a nasty cut above the eye and the ref threatened to call the match, but let them keep fighting.
The fight went all over the arena and Vengeance just brutalized Darkest Justice. Justice was a bloody, bloody mess and wearing more than a crimson mask.
Somehow he mounted a huge comeback and even scored a near fall after hitting the ROD OF INJUSTICE on the entry ramp!
Vengeance was bleeding at this point, too, but it was nothing compared to the gory visage of Darkest Justice.
Vengeance surprised everyone, though, by popping up and smiling savagely! He tossed Darkest Justice from the ramp and right onto a mine! 1...2... NO! Insane!
Vengeance laughs and then picks up the barely conscious body of Darkest Justice and then hit a running slam through one of the large screens! Glass is everywhere and Darkest Justice is out! 1, 2, 3!
The Minister of War stands victorious and Darkest Justice has to be stretchered form the arena. Unreal.
Our finals will be Minister of War vs Zealos in a Primus Carnage Gauntlet Match!
[Darkest Justice = 10 tokens, MOW = 2]
Truth and Consequences vs. Lord Nexus and Saboteur Saboteur defeated Tortured Soul with a TRIPWIRE at 5:24 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: The Prophesy/Heritage war has been amping up and while Lord Nexus will face Oracle in the main event of the next Slam after defeating Tortured Soul and Total Anarchy in consecutive weeks, tonight he teams with Saboteur to take on Truth & Consequences.
Saboteur had a breakout performance a few weeks ago and was no different here.
Nexus started things off with Agony and was wisely tentative in his game plan, but he was able to stun the big man and get something going after taking a little punishment.
Tortured Soul came in, but Nexus turned things around quickly and would make a tag to Saboteur that saw them hit an ensugiri combination that had the zombie reeling!
Saboteur set him up perfect and hit TRIPWIRE!
Agony is in and breaks it up, but Nexus and Saboteur are able to toss him from the ring!
Tortured Soul tried to sneak up on Saboteur... TRIPWIRE! 1, 2, 3!
The fans popped big for the win and Heritage continues to hold an advantage over Prophesy. Will Lord Nexus be able to get yet another win when he faces Oracle?
We almost don't have to wait as Oracle and Total Anarchy make their way to the ring and it looks like we're about to have a fight, but Fraternity comes down with Lance At-Las and some officials to prevent things from getting out of hand.
Lance At-Las and Command and Control vs. Prime Colonizer, Splatter, and Adam Traitor Prime Colonizer defeated Star Slayer with a SIMIAN SKULLCRUSHER at 7:40 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: This was an interesting matchup. Prime Colonizer has not had the best of luck since coming to Centra, being on the losing end in a classic bout to Lance At-Las and dropping falls in tag matches.
Meanwhile Adam Blast has struggled with a back injury, but is eager to get his hands on Adam Traitor.
Unfortunately, this was not the match for Blast, but it may have been a chance for Mandrill to get something started.
The Colonizer brought the fight to At-Las early, but Lance tagged out to Star Slayer. Slayer was cocky and mocked Mandrill before slapping him in the face... Not a good idea. Mandrill began tearing him apart and then scored a near fall.
He tagged in Splatter who scored a near fall of his own and then would tag in Traitor for the double team.
Adam Traitor punished Slayer some more and if not for Adam Blast, would probably have succumbed earlier.
However, Traitor tagged in Mandrill and the Prime Colonizer hit the SIMIAN SKULLCRUSHER while Slaughterhouse cut the ring off and Star Slayer was pinned.
Mandrill stepped on his chest after the match and raised his fist as Splatter stood guard and Traitor mocked Blast, who never got into the match...
Blast pointed at Traitor and told Lance At-Las "I want him!"
- CWF Tag Team Title Finals - Reckoning vs. Oracle & Total Anarchy for the CWF Tag Team Titles Revolver defeated Oracle 2115 with a FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK at 14:39 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: This one would not be without a little controversy. Both teams knew the stakes and were going all out, but Revolver and Anarchy spilled outside and in any normal circumstances the match would've ended by DQ at least once, if not twice, but the ref showed leeway considering it was a title fight for a vacant belt...
The action went back and forth and Oracle was able to get in some good offense on Revolver, but solid tag work from Reckoning re-established their control and they never really looked back.
Revolver would slap on the FIGURE FOUR and Doomsayer kept Anarchy from interfering. Eventually Oracle had no choice but to tap!
Reckoning are your tag team champions!
Reckoning won the CWF Tag Team Titles
Oracle immediately grabs a mic...
ORACLE: Covet your gold while you may. I foresee a great fall in your future. And we will meet again...
Lance At-Las comes down to present the belts to the new champions as Oracle and Anarchy leave the ringside area.
- Primus Carnage Gauntlets - Milky Way Falls Count Anywhere Carnage Gauntlets Tournament Final - Zealos vs. Minister of War for the Primus Carnage Title Minister of War defeated Zealos with an AETHRAN MASSACRE at 8:39 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Both of these fighters have been through hell, but Zealos is easily the worse for wear.
It didn't take long before Zealos had reopened the cut on Vengeance's brow!
The Tarkanian was attacking with ferocity early and hoping to even the playing field.
The fans got behind him and he brutalized Vengeance with the ladder and then hit a splash from the top of it! The fans popped big as Zealos retrieved the Gauntlets!
Can he capitalize?
Vengeance has recovered while Zealos puts the Gauntlets on and suckers him in! Vengeance begins exacting some revenge and things spill outside.
Zealos is soon a bloody mess again as Vengeance hits him with a chair and smashes his head repeatedly into the timekeepers table.
Zealos is a mess. The match from earlier took too much of a toll. Vengeance rolls him in and hit AETHRAN MASSACRE!
1, 2, 3!
The Minister of War is the new Primus Carnage Champion!
Vengeance, crimson masked takes the Gauntlets off of Zealos and holds them up as blood drips off his nose.
He looks at the camera and says: Evolution! Lesson number 2!
Chaos Supreme vs. Mister Centra for the CWF Heavyweight Championship Chaos Supreme defeated Mister Centra with a flash pin at 12:54 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: After weeks of trash talking and boasting, these two finally meet for the richest prize in the CWF.
Chaos got a flash pin attempt early that was foreshadowing to say the least.
He punished Centra and scored a number of near falls, cutting off every attempt at a comeback Mister Centra made.
Finally, he suckered Chaos in on the outside and posted the big man! He then went in and hit a huge tope suicida that finally gave him control of the match.
The King of Verve finally started to build momentum and wowed the crowd as he handled Chaos and scored multiple near falls of his own!
He cut off attempts to wrest control from Chaos, mirroring the champ's control of the bout earlier.
But as he was shot off into the ropes, the champ scored a flash pin from outta no where!
Chaos Supreme retains the CWF Heavyweight Championship
Mister Centra couldn't believe it. As the champ's hand was raised, the King of Verve hit his super kick finisher multiple times until Chaos got to one knee and then he hit it again!
The champ is down! Here comes Magnus Colby with the Squad! The King of Verve hightails it as the show comes to a close!
What a night!
Overall Card Rating: 3.71

CWF NEWSWIRE
CWF SHOCKWAVE is in the books and we have crowned our first Tag Team and Primus Carnage champions of the new era. Reckoning was able to defeat the Prophesy team of Oracle and Total Anarchy with solid tag work and Revolver earning the tapout victory via the FIGURE FOUR.
The Minister of War, Vengeance, carved a brutal slash through the competition and even though Zealos became the fan-favorite and retrieved the Gauntlets first, the Aethran proved too much for him. Vengeance had a message for Evolution after the bout.
Speaking of Evolution, he, Revolver, and Lance At-Las have yet to declare their intentions after being the last men standing in our epic 10-man elimination match from the last Slam. Will he challenge Vengeance for the Primus Carnage Title?
The Primus Carnage tournament took its toll on the competitors as both Zealos and Darkest Justice will miss this week’s Slam. Mayhem, however, after being brutally power-bombed through the cell’s ceiling will miss the next month of action as he recovers. Though rumor has it he’s still traveling with Future Shock and insists he could fight if called upon.
In our main event, Chaos was able to more than meet the challenge of Mister Centra and scored a shock pin off the ropes. However, Mister Centra did not take the defeat too well...
CWF Spectator podcast reported rumors that Chaos suffered a concussion after Mister Centra’s post-match attack. Magnus Colby has refuted those claims saying that Chaos is simply taking a well-deserved vacation on Paradise Island and will return when he sees fit and in time to defend his CWF Heavyweight title.
We’ll have more answers (along with more questions, I’m sure) at the next Saturday Slam!
CWF Saturday Slam 008 02.23.2115 from Westland Pavillion, Westland, Centra Prime
Nebula vs. Revolver
- Grudge Match - Star Slayer vs. Prime Colonizer
- The Main Event - Oracle vs. Lord Nexus
And more!

Outstanding performance by the King of Verve... Yet he still falls short of the top prize... Rare to see Chaos winning a match with a desperation move like that... Could the champion have finally sensed a real threat to his title reign? Colby is doing a wicked job of spinning the press to keep Future Shock looking strong... Even with both Chaos and Mayhem potentially suffering serious injuries during this latest show... Maybe this will present an opportunity for someone like Prime Colonizer to really step into the spotlight - Especially after scoring the pinfall in that big six-man tag match... The final rounds of the Primus Carnage Championship tourney were absolutely over-the-top, as expected... Like TTX, I was kinda hoping for Zealos to go the distance... But, MoW is a great starting point for the history of the gauntlets... Excited to watch this division bloom into something fierce... Very pleased that Reckoning won the tag straps... The entire roster better learn that Revolver is a dangerous man... And to be honest, I still don't think we're seeing the full extent of this masked warrior's abilities... Another spectacular show, my friend... Very nice work!

Phew... It's been a crazy couple weeks. I've rolled some cards and the action has been brutal. Couple of guys on the shelf and lots of feuds heating up! I'll get a card out within the next 24 hours for sure.
Hope everyone is well!

CWF Saturday Slam 008 02.23.2115 from Westland Pavillion, Westland, Centra Prime
- News & Notes -
-With all champions crowned and plenty of drama in and out of the ring, Lance At-Las has announced that fans can expect more title matches, grudge matches, and of course, athletic competition on future episodes of Slam!
-Additionally, CSN has offered additional time and it seems there’s a good chance At-Las will increase the match count for certain episodes in the future!
-Magnus Colby has stated that Mayhem, Darkest Justice, and Splatter are all absent from today’s show, but that they’ll be back soon enough. In the meantime, he promises to address the Chaos rumors and Mister Centra tonight!
-Mister Centra is not scheduled to appear today and Lance At-Las, while not suspending him, suggested he take the week off…
-Let’s go to the back where Ms. Liberty is with the new tag team champions!
- Galactic Rebels - (Doomsayer, Evolution, & Revolver are in the interview area with Ms. Liberty)
LIBERTY: First off, a congratulations is in order for the new tag team champions, Doomsayer and Revolver!
DOOMSAYER: Thank you, Liberty. We've worked hard to get to this point. Since before the reboot, if you will, the Galactic Rebels have had a rocky road to ascending the heights here in the CWF and it's a fitting tribute to the trials and tribulations we have faced to stand her as the new tag team champions.
LIBERTY: Doomsayer, rumor has it that your first challenge will come in the form of a team that some say is the greatest in the history of the CWF, Fraternity. Thoughts?
DOOMSAYER: Liberty, my mind moves at the speed of light and I can tell you it gets crowded up there with thoughts of retribution against our enemies, but there's also room for healthy competition in the spirit of the purest form of this sport. So while Mayhem, Splatter, and Vengeance occupy a bit of real estate in my mind palace, I can only respond to your query with: It would be an honor for Revolver and I to share the ring with Fraternity. There is no denying the pedigree of Nebula and Centauri and we welcome the challenge. But make no mistake, these rebels will not run. Revolver and I are more than up to the task. And once we finish the brothers off... Scores will be settled.
LIBERTY: Speaking of scores, Evolution, things have been unsettling, to say the least, between you and the Minister of War. How do you feel moving forward after his latest display and "lesson" as he puts it?
EVOLUTION: Ohhhhhh, Vengeance... Vengeance is more than a name, more than an act, it's a mood! And I am in the mood and mindset to exact my own form of bloody vengeance on the Minister of War! Take your lesson plans and shred them, take your gauntlets and stuff them, because school's out, moth-*BLEEP*-er! You want blood?! You want war?! It's coming. And it's coming sooner than you think. Because as one of the last men standing in the 10-man tag... I'm cashing in... Lance At-Las, let it be known, that I want Minister of War in a championship match for the gauntlets next week! And I want it inside a torture chamber!
LIBERTY: Oh my god... Evolution... Doomsayer, can this be? That's one of the most brutal matches in history!
DOOMSAYER: My young friend, my protege, may be speaking in anger, but it is his choice and I endorse it. Now, if you'll excuse us, Revolver has a match up next.
(The Galactic Rebels leave the interview area and Liberty looks on in shock.)
Nebula vs. Revolver Nebula defeated Revolver with a CETUS SLEEPER at 18:57 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: As noted, all signs point to Fraternity getting the first crack at Reckoning for the tag titles. It would be a big rematch as Revolver was able to secure the submission after the figure four in their opening round match in the CWF Tag Tournament.
This singles match could help set the tone and build momentum to that title shot.
If this was any indication of the action we could see in a tag bout, then we're in for a treat. It was a tremendous see-saw battle with each man seemingly having an answer for everything in the other's arsenal.
After going back and forth in the opening stretch, Nebula would try for the victory around the halfway point with a snap DDT and then followed the near fall with the CETUS SLEEPER!
Revolver would make his way to the ropes and then actually mounted a comeback after a flash pin attempt off the ropes.
They continued to go back and forth, each man scoring more near falls and Nebula even hitting a devastating plancha near the end.
He locked in a figure four, adding insult to injury, but it didn't have quite the torque or mastery Revolver displays with the move.
Nebula would transition into the CETUS SLEEPER to finally score the win when the referee stopped the match as Revolver could not respond.
Great match.
[Revolver = 4 tokens, Nebula = 2]
Star Slayer vs. Prime Colonizer Star Slayer defeated Prime Colonizer with THE APOCALYPSE at 6:49 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Prime Colonizer is hoping to get something started after struggling the last couple of months in singles competition. Of course, he was the ring general at Shockwave and put Star Slayer out with the SIMIAN SKULLCRUSHER to win the 6-man.
Slayer wants to get that win back and is looking to help the FDF try to get an edge in their feud with Future Shock.
Slayer came out strong with strikes, but got cocky with a slap to the face and paid dearly as Mandrill hit a pile driver and then some sick ground and pound for a near fall.
They would jockey for position and Mandrill score another near fall after a Prime Piledriver.
Slayer capitalized on a mistake and hit the MAD MAT for a 2-count.
The action spilled outside and a slingshot plancha led to some brawling that Star Slayer was able to come out on top of.
He eyed his blaster rifle, but decided against using it and hit THE APOCALYPSE for the 1, 2, 3!
Adam Blast congratulates his partner for taking the high road and still getting the win.
Mandrill rolls from the ring and is clearly angry and disappointed.
Blast grabs a mic and calls out Adam Traitor and challenges him to a one-on-one fight!
Traitor makes his way out and tells Blast that he doesn't really see why not since his partner is on the shelf... But that he just doesn't have a good reason... Unless Blast agrees to a fight on his terms...
Before Blast can agree, Lance At-Las comes out and reminds both men he makes the matches.
Blast says he doesn't need At-Las' protection and that after what Traitor did to his wife and even by his mere presence here, that they are on a collision course, why would the commish delay that?
At-Las finally relents and makes the match for next week's Slam!
- Magnu Colby - (Magnus Colby makes his way down to the ring and trades his cigar for a mic....)
COLBY: Fight fans, Future Shock fans, and more importantly, Chaos Supreme fans, I am here to clear the air. Mark one down in the books. A title defense befitting your reigning, undisputed CWF champion. The aftermath of that defense... Rumors are flying as they are want to do, but I assure you my client is fine! And I assure you that it’s a dangerous game you’ve decided to play, Versturgus... Gus... One man alone against Future Shock? Of course, Chaos needs no one to help him bat away a gnat like you. He’s only taking a vacation because I advised him to stay away. I see no reason for him to throw away his title run because of the retribution he takes on you! No need to wind up suspended or banned for the unspeakable havoc wrought upon you in his current state of fury. So he's chilling out on beach on the coast of Tarkania. Taking in the sights. Biding his time. Cooling off. But... but... make no mistakes about what will happen when he returns... Because Mister Centra, when you decided to throw your little tantrum… You signed your own death warrant.
(Colby drops the mic and leaves the ring to a stunned audience.)
Oracle vs. Lord Nexus Oracle defeated Lord Nexus with a SIXTH SENSE at 13:27 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Lord Nexus fought through Tortured Soul and Total Anarchy to earn the right to face Oracle one-on-one.
They went back and forth early, but when things spilled outside, Oracle was able to take over after smashing Nexus into the timekeepers table.
He went to work with high impact offense and had Nexus reeling even scoring a near fall with SIXTH SENSE.
Nexus was able to mount a huge comeback reversing an arm breaker for one of his own.
Nexus hit a beautiful dive to the outside, but Oracle was still alive and came back after a missed double knees spot.
Nexus would not be denied, though, and came back in a big way! He hit THE APEX, but as the ref began his count, Total Anarchy distracted him!
Nexus came out of the ring and while Oracle played up an injury and the ref checked on him, Total Anarchy leveled Nexus with a power bomb on the outside!
Oracle took over and busted Nexus wide open with Eternal Guidance. He worked over the Titan and then hit SIXTH SENSE again for the 1, 2, 3!
Saboteur is out through the crowd, but Total Anarchy holds him off while Oracle continues the beat down in the ring! Three more finishers and another Eternal Guidance have Nexus laying in a bloody heap...
Saboteur finally hits the ring as Anarchy pulls Oracle out and Prophesy heads for the hills.
Nexus needs Saboteur's help to leave the ring as trainers make their way down as well. What a scene to end Slam!
Overall Card Rating: 3.75
