On the way home from Galacticon next month, I will be in Mihnneapolis on Monday July 15th and Tuesday July 16th. Cory Olson, pikemojo, cman, Justin Case anyone else here in the Minneapolis area, let me know if you want to meet up. My schedule is very flexible although I plan to go to the Mets/Twins game at 5 PM on July 16th and I might try to tour the Vikings new stadium, and I also need to eat one of these Juicy Lucys I hear so much about. |

Dang, I have a two week time off of work at the end of June/July 4th time frame. After that, hard to get the time off to go down there. It's about 7 hours drive from me as I live by the Canadian Border. Shoot, would love to see a Twins game and I would love to visit the Viking's Stadium as I have never been. I have been to Target Field though, and it's a great park. Not a bad seat in the joint! It was a fun time when I went there, I'm sure you will have a blast seeing a game there! They also have Steel Domain Wrestling there in Blaine, MN. Although I'm not sure if they will have matches at that time. I would have to look them up and see?! Air Wolf is a frequent there, would be fun to see a show of theirs too. Anyhoo, thanks for the invite, I hope any of the others that can go, do! Have fun, there's so much to do here in the Summers, fun state to visit if you get another opportunity!? Take care and safe travels! JC |

That is like me driving from Las Vegas to Sacramento so I would definitely not expect you to drive to Minneapolis (I gave everyone short notice anyway.) I am there on a Monday and a Tuesday so I don't think there will be any wrestling events, but I did enjoy seeing Air Wolf wrestle live in Iowa last Summer. For anyone who knows the Minneapolis area, what is a good restaurant or bar to eat a Juicy Lucy? |

Zeke, Thanks for sharing this! I think that I might be able to meet up with you, even just for a Juicy Lucy. I will check in with you as time gets closer. As far as which place to go for a Juicy, there are two restaurants who both claim to have been the originators. Matt's Bar & Grill in Minneapolis and the 5-8 Club, which has four locations across the Twin Cities metro. I have not gotten to Matt's yet but I have been to the 5-8 in West St. Paul, which is near the school where I teach. (The Maplewood location is only about three miles from my house but I haven't gotten there yet.) I am big fan of 5-8 and try to take as many out-of-town visitors there as I can.  We'll be in touch in the next few weeks! |

I have been getting Tuesdays off lately, but since you will be in town I will put in for that tuesday off anyway. I will be able to meet you guys for lunch where ever. I might even be able to join you at the Twins game too.
