Hopefully, we can meet up somewhere sometime, like at one of the area indy cards. LMK if you hit an indy show, maybe I'll crash the party.

One thing I definitely noticed about Minneapolis is how advanced the area is- at one bar you swipe a card and pour your own beer and then at another bar (an airport bar I went to) you order through a tablet (tablets are set up at every table and bar seat) and then the bartender fills your order. That was my first time seeing either of those two things. The tablet even does suggestive selling as it sent me a message asking if I wanted another beer- I was only about 2/3 done with my first beer so apparently that tablet thought I was not drinking fast enough lol.

I should have told you about this at G-Con, but did you catch the Minnesota Wild bar in the airport? It was pretty cool, the main bar was made up by a bunch of hockey sticks. Glad to see you enjoyed Minnesota.

I have heard of growler places where you prepay for a card and fill up your own beers, but never a bar. I would love that as I am a fan of trying a bunch of different beers (always get a flight at a brewery). I could see this being a legal issue in some states as there is not a bartender actually serving the beer so they can't judge your intoxication level. Although if you are that fargone you probably can figure out the machine anyway.

We have a wine bar in town that has a similar concept, where you prepay a card and swipe. There's about a dozen kinds of wine on tap and three different size pours. I'd rather there was a beer option around here.

Great to meet you and Cman as well! You two are the first two FGers I've ever met in person. Kinda crazy considering I've been playing the game for 15-16 years now and talk to a few people from these boards fairly regularly via text, email, FB, etc. executioner and I need to connect sometime when he's in town again. Same with Avarice. And I'm pretty sure Cory Olson and I live 15-20 minutes from each other. Glad you enjoyed your Juicy Lucy and short Minnesota visit. Hope to be able to meet up again sometime. One day Pike, we will have to get together, maybe Cman too if it works out. We could check out that Steel Domain Wrestling there in Bloomington/Blaine area, my brother in law lives in Blaine, so it could work out. Been a long time since I've visited the Cities. Glad you guys all had a good time! Sounds like a fun day!

Real good beer too! One of my favorite places to go.
