You are definitely one of my best friends here and I am looking forward to seeing you, Cory, and Cman in Minneapolis in a month and 2 days in Minneapolis. And, when you get a chance, I am also looking forward to you making that post (not about me) today on the LOW Facebook page as it is also some others' birthday- two Indy wrestlers in the game- that I do not think most fans know about.  Both wrestlers are actually celebrating their birthday together here in Nevada (in nearby Laughlin.) |

I just wish to take a quick second and say thank you to everyone here for sayng Happy Birthday to me (either here on the board, via Facebook, by text message, etc.) I had a great day that started Thursday night/after Midnight on downtown Fremont Street after the FSW show (which I attended with my friends Alex, Alan, and Bryan) and I went to the after-party and I got to say hi to RVD again. RVD I heard goes often to the Nerd Bar who reportedly gives him a great deal. And then me and my friend Bryan (a FSW ref) went out drinking at Hogs N Heffers where the female bartenders bought me a beer.  On Friday itself I went to Palace Station and I FINALLY got to go to the Oyster Bar. It is ranked something like #4 in the country but everytime I go the line has always been too long to get in. This time I was able to walk right up and take a seat and the meal was incredible! I then went to see Dark Phoenix (I love the X-Men and I am excited about them now being in the MCU in future movies thanks to Disney) at the new movie theater inside Palace Station. At Palace Station, I made 2 parlay bets on baseball. The first ticket, I only went 2 for 3 (the Mets lost unfortunately) so I lost that ticket. But, as I posted with the ticket picture on Facebook, I won my other ticket and I have cash waiting for me at Palace Station- probably the last time I bet there though (lower parlay payouts than other places, normally a 3 teamer is something closer to a 6 to 1 payout and even with the favorable odds of 2 of the games- I did however also bet and won on my Mariners- I would have gotten more money at many other locations.) I then met my friend Ofi (I may have said this before here but she is Willie Mack's girlfriend) who showed up at Palace Sation and we went bar hopping on the Strip and made stops at places such as Bellagio and The Flamingo. After Midnight, Ofi left because she had to work today and I then went to the Paris (a personal favorite casino of mine) for a beer before catching a Lyft to go home. June 14th was also the birthday for both members of PPRay (I think Rey turned 33 yesterday and Peter turned 30) and they actually celebrated it together in Laughlin, Nevada (about 45 minutes away from here in Las Vegas.) Thanks again to pikemojo and everyone here for wishing me Happy Birthday, it was definitely a great day overall. One thing I miss is how the board always used to display birthdays at the bottom so everyone here would get a similar thread. |
