- RVD pinned Lynn with a FIVE-STAR FROG SPLASH. This was an intense encounter to kick off the first show. RVD drew a lot of heat with his arrogant taunts and even more when he blasted Lynn with a Van Daminator, but the referee let it slide. -- Tokens: Lynn 2
Billy Red Lyons & Red Bastien defeated Sheepherders: Butch Miller & Luke Williams via submission at 6:33.
- Lyons forced Williams to tap out with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. The Redheads used energetic teamwork to overcome the brawling tactics of the Sheepherders. -- Tokens: Bastien 1 - Miller 1, Williams 3
Gorgeous George (w/ Cherie Dupre) defeated Diamond Dallas Page via pinfall at 2:49.
- George pinned DDP with a ROLLING HIPLOCK. A valuable assist by Cherie allowed George to score a cheap (snake eyes) victory. DDP managed to grab onto the bottom rope, but Cherie knocked it away while the referee counted the fall. -- Tokens: n/a
- Hiding behind his valet, George escaped to the backstage area before DDP could seek revenge.
Iron Sheik, Boris Zhukov & Nikolai Volkoff (w/ Rock Riddle) defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Rock n' Roll Express: Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson via pinfall at 13:47.
- Volkoff pinned Gibson with a running stomp. Both sides displayed exceptional teamwork in this seesaw battle. While the referee was focused on the action inside the ring, Iron Sheik cracked his flag staff across Duggan's back to remove him from the equation. -- Tokens: Sheik 4 - Duggan 1, Morton 2, Gibson 3
