Thanks for al the cool feedback! I’ve rolled a lot more matches for Conway and will write up soon (on our hols at the mo.) His career is going to take a very odd but fun twist shortly as he makes his way rob jim Crockett Promotions!
You will be seeing the lines of Brad Armstrong and Sam Houston for sure and an injury that leaves someone on the shelf!
Cheers!

Chapter 4- The Cowboy Comes Calling
Tiger Conway Jr has picked up a couple of key victories and his performances have started to make people take notice. One of those keen to utilise Conway's talents is the no-nonsense former tough guy grappler Bill Watts, who just happens to own Mid South Wrestling:
"Son, I've been hearing some great things about you and I want you to come down to Shreveport for our next set of television tapings. I'm going to put you in there with some fine athetes and I want you to prove to me that you've got what it takes. If things go well, I'll offer you an extended run in the terriroty later on in the year..."
After checking in with his father, Tiger Conway Jr packs his bags and makes the four hour drive up to Shreveport, making sure he's not late of course!
MATCH 17:Â
Tiger Conway Jr vs 'Exotic' Adrian Street (w/Miss Linda)
The flamboyant Street stalls as he prees and prances before launching himself at the bewildered Conway. It's one way traffic from there, albeit for brief corner charge late on. Street ties his opponent up in knots and The Daffodil claims the victory in a one-sided encounter.Winner: 'Exotic' Adrian StreetVeridct:Total one way traffic as Conway Jr failed to deal with the unorthodox offense from Street. It's no secret that 'The Exotic One' is perhaps my favourite wrestler of all time and I always enjoy using his card- the colour update was uded here. Atreet's card is capable of going toe to toe with anyone but his relatively weak finisher (+1) means it often takes him a while to put his opponents away. Street enjoyed a brief but successful run in Mid South, famously capturing the Television Title from Terry Taylor, by kissing him on the lips!MATCH 18:Tiger Conway Jr vs Ted DibiaseÂ
DiBiase wails on Conway from the get-go and snatches him in a powerslam but Conway kicks out! Conway rallies and arm drags Ted all over the ring. Dibiase bails in frustration. Back inside, Conway continues the onslaught and hits a series of flying headbutts. DiBiase is down! The ref is temporaily distracted by 'Dr Death' Steve Williams at ringside, which causes Conway to protest. As he does, DiBiase grabs a handful of tights and rolls up his opponent for the rather fortunate victory! Conway was robbed! Winner: Ted DiBiaseAfter the match, DiBiase and Williams stomp and kick Conway to the canvas before Williams delivers an Oklahoma Stampede. Suddenly, Brad Armstrong runs to ringside as DiBiase and Williams back off. DiBiase takes the mic:"What do you two young punks think you're playing at? You're looking at the Mid South Tag Team Champions! If you think you've got what it takes, come step in the ring with us next week and try and take these titles off us!"Verdict:This was a fabulous back and forth match where Conway more than held his own against the colour 'Black Glove' DiBiase card. Conway inflicted four tokens on his opponent in somewhat of a comeback as he was battered early on. This sets up an interested tag team match which will give Conway his first opportunity to win some gold. It's going to be a tough ask though...MATCH 19:The Grappler vs Tony Atlas(North American Heavyweight Championship)The crowd are firmly behind the challenger, Atlas and he takes control after The Grappler foolishly challenges him to a test of strength. Atlas dominates the champ in the power department, but is inferior when it comes to underhand tactics. Grappler takes the action outside where he loads up the boot and cracks Atlas. Groggy, the powerhouse from Roanoke never recovers and The Grappler scores a pinfall soon after. Winner: The GrapplerVerdict:A brief interlude because I wanted to use two of my favourite cards. I was going to use a 'champion's advantage' here for The Grappler, but he didn't need it- inflicting four tokens on the sluglish Atlas before picking up the victory. If Conway Jr is a success here in Mid South, he may cross paths with either of these men some day...MATCH 20:Tiger Conway Jr & Brad Armstrong vs Ted DiBiase & 'Dr Death' Steve Williams (Mid South Tag Team Championship)
The baby faces start strongly and clear the ring with a pair of drop kicks. DiBiase and Williams are livid! Conway starts off and finds himself in trouble as Williams overpowers him. A hot tag to Brad and the youngster from Marietta is on fire as he lays in drop kicks and a wicked bulldog. Williams clubbers back and tags in DiBiase who dominates Armtrong from then on. There's no firey comebacks this time as DiBiase hits a power slam to claim a clear victory in the end. Winners: Ted DiBiase & 'Dr Death' Steve Williams Verdict:Tiger Conway Jr falls short in his first opportunity for a belt, but he and Brad gave a good account of themselves against top-tier opposition. Steve Williams's colour card is beastly and he dominated the two second generation grapplers for a lot of the match. Armstrong's agility got him out of trouble on a number of occasions and maybe if he and Conway got into a rhythm, they could have pulled off an upset. Still, I could see a future for this pairing- if Tiger Conway Jr sticks around Mid South Wrestling.
Bill Watts calls Conway into his offic and hands him an envelope: "There you go son, you've earned it. Now, let's talk a little about your future here..."Should Watts offer Tiger Conway Jr a longer deal in Mid South? If so, who would you like to see him face? If not, Tiger may need to get his father to pull a few more strings....
STAY TUNED!

I definitely think Conway is Watts' kind of guy. He should offer him a long term deal and a tv title shot, in my opinion. This is really interesting work.

Rough run for Conway but some great matchups. Also, you can never have enough Adrian Street matches.

Really enjoyed that joebreakdown! Watts should totally offer Conway a long term contract. As far as who he should face, I liked how you first paired him up against low level guys and then provided Conway did well against them, Conway started facing tougher opponents. Liked him teaming with Brad Armstrong, wouldn't mind Conway persuing his tag career with him. But anyway this shakes out, I know I will be enjoying!

TC Jr having a little bit of difficulty gaining much traction in this latest series... But, it's always fun seeing the Exotic One in action... Great stuff!
