Tiger Conway Sr has pulled a few strings and has helped his son secure a couple of high profile matches against some true legends of the mat wars. Let's find out how Jr fares..
Mad Dog pounds on young Tiger Conway Jr early on and lays in some heavy boots as Conway struggles to get to his feet. Mad Dog misses a flying chop but Conway fails to capitalise. A Mad Dog Pounce gets two before Conway rallies and hits a flying head scissors. A Small package nearly wins in but Conway whiffs on a bely to belly. Mad Dog shows his wrestling ability with a sunset flip, but Conway reverses it to pull of an upset victory! Conway quickly escapes the ring whilst
Tiger Conway Jr at ringside, applauds his son.
Winner: Tiger Conway JrVerdict:
A back and forth battle sees Conway come out on top against a very tough opponent. As a huge Mad Dog fan, I'm pleased to see that his colour card is a huge upgrade on hiw b&W white. In truth, Conway should have lost this as he was down twice but the dice were on his side. Let's see if 'Mad Dog' will be looking for a rematch further down the line, or perhaps he'll call on his brother,
Butcher Vachon to take on Conway Jr and his father at some point?
MATCH 12:Tiger Conway Jr vs Johnny ValentineConway is quick in avoiding Valentine early on as he applis hit and run tactics. A head butt, a flying head scissors and a drop kick rock Valentine and a lariat gets a one count. Valentine rallies and unloads with a series of vicious chops that damage Conway. A sunset flip keeps Conway's shoulder's down briefly but he kicks out. Conway dodges a clothesline and scores with his lethal Flying Head Butt but the wily vet gets his foot on the bottom rope. Conway ges u p top but misses a cross body and Valentine hits a pair of Atomic Skullcrushers with the victory.
Winner: Johnny Valentine
Verdict:
A tough night for Conway against Valentine Sr- whose card stats put him towards the elite end of performers in Legends. Conway battled hard and actually inflicted three tokens on Valentine, with is commendable. Having two chances to hit his finisher makes Valentine lethal on offense and Conway's bothced deathjump really opened the door for Valentine. One of Conway's better performances so far, however.

Following these two hard-fought matches, Tiger Conway Jr returns to his territory where he's back in tag team action with his partner,
S.D 'Special Delivery' Jones. It's back to the bottom of the card- in fact this match doesn't even to make it to TV as they have the dubious honour of wrestling a dark match...
MATCH 13:Tiger Conway Jr & S.D 'Special Delivery' Jones vs Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill
A wild brawl stars the match that ultimately leaves Jones trapped and punished by the odd couple paring of Doring and Roadkill. Jones has his shoulders to the mat three times and relys on his partner saving him on a couple of occasions. A hot tag is made and Conway unloads on Doring, sending him from corner to corner before connecting with a hedbutt. Roadkill makes the save and it's is turn to be cracked with a headbutt. A Huracanrana on Doring neary wins it, but Roadkill saves again. Conway misses a turnbuckle charge but manages to tag in Jones. Roadkill sends Jones outside and a wild brawl erupts, causing Jones to be counted out. A tough loss for Conway and Jones.
Winners: Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill
Verdict:
Jones started the match and got punished early on and the team never really recovered, despite some Conway fire. Doring and Roadkill are what I would consider 'jobbers to the stars' and their card stats reflect that, but they can be a capable pairing and controlled much of this match, despite Doring accumulating four tokens. It's early days, but Conway and Jones are struggling as a pair, but I'm not sure either warrants and upgrade in partners. Up next, a short interlude...
MATCH 14:
S.D 'Special Delivery' Jones vs Boris Zhukov
Conway watches on as his tag team partner takes it to the burly Russian. Jones in fire, hitting a scope slam, a head butt and...a Scorpion Leg Lock(!) which keeps the Commie at bay. Zhukov gets some shots in and a double axe handle followed by the Soviet Slam nearly ends up, but Jones fights back and capitalises on Zhukov telegraphing a back body drop by hitting a piledriver for the victory! As Jones celebrates,
Nikolai Volkoff blind sides him by hitting him with the flag pole. Conway comes to his partner's aid as the Bolsheviks back down...
Winner: S.D 'Special Delivery' Jones
Verdict:
This match is here really to move the story on and win or lose, I just knew Volkoff would get involved! Jones actually pummeled Zhukov here. Jones has always punched above his weight for me, holding clean victories over the likes of
Terry Gordy,
Masked Superstar 2 and
John Tolos.
MATCH 15:
Tiger Conway Jr vs David Taylor
The double-tough Yorkshireman should be a stern test for Conway, but he is totally dominated by the high-flying Texan. Save for a couple of reversals, it's all Conway who hits three Flying Head Butts on the way to an impressive victory. At the end of the show, Conway is pleased to see a small gathering of fans approach his merch table and ask for autographed 8x10s. He sells half a dozen and poses for a couple of Polaroids.
Winner: Tiger Conway Jr
Verdict:
I was hoping Taylor would provide a real stern test for Conway, but he totally flopped. Taylor is a pretty solid card, let down by his low pin rating. Conway was lucky to hit his finisher three times in a row, which proved vital. As a Brit, I like Taylor and love reading about him in other people's feds. He makes a good 'enforcer' I feel and a decent tag partner.
MATCH 16:Tiger Conway Jr vs Alexi Smirnoff
Conway struggles with Smirnoff's power initially but a missed elbow sees the match swing in his favour. A double clothesline puts both men down, but Conway recovers first and he goes up top twice, to deliver a couple of sweet Flying Head Butts. This one was pretty easy.
Winner: Tiger Conway Jr
Verdict:Ths is the first time I have used Smiroff's card and he really struggled. In fact, he never made it onto Level 3 Offense, which is a shame, because with a +2 finisher and and Add 1 move, he is deadly! Conway's een having problems with the Soviet Menace, but he comes out on top here!
