Ellis is running wild now. Briefly I thought it was Ares vs Castagnoli instead of Candido....either way fun match. Eaton and Condrey running smooth as silk it appears.

Ellis on fire! He’s deserves a title shot! Can't you just see the Million Dollar Man propping him up as a legitimate contender too!?! You may have given me an idea.

Eaton and Condrey running smooth as silk it appears. I thought I had given them an easy match in the tag tournament against the Sheepherders but the Sheepherders won for the first time in my fed against the debuting Midnight Express. I expect them to do well in my fed longterm though. It's been fun trying to write promos for Jim Cornette though. Not easy but a fun challenge. Thanks for commenting!

LCW Go! Sunday, March 3 – Year 1
Courtney Rush vs. Penelope Ford – The bell rings and Courtney Rush is stays standing in her corner smiling, tilting her head from side to side. Even as Penelope Ford approaches, she makes no moves toward an attack. Finally, Penelope Ford rushes in but she finds herself restrained in the corner by The Demon Assassin. Rush licks the face of Ford, angering Ford who goes after Rush with a new ferocity. Penelope Ford’s recklessness gets the best of her when Rush catches her dive attempt and slams her to the canvas with an F5… and then two more before mercifully pinning her to end the match.
The bell rings to end the match but Courtney Rush doesn’t get off of Penelope Ford. She instead crawls up and stares deeply into Penelope Ford’s face. Ford’s pained grimace suddenly goes blank. Courtney Rush smiles and then slinks out of the ring and then out of the ringside area. The referee helps Ford to her feet. Her face still emotionally blank, she stumbles her way to the backstage area.
Darius Carter & Juan Francisco de Coronado w/ Sherri Martelvs. Shynron & Samuray del Sol – Sherri Martel, beautifully dressed, accompanies her Start Up members to the ring. Despite Sherri’s screams from ringside, Shynron and Samuray del Sol are working seamlessly to dismantle both Darius Carter and JFDC. Juan Francisco de Coronado bails to the outside to avoid a pin, but Shynron follows with a suicide dive. When Shynron moves in to continue his assault, Sherri cracks him with a chair. The ref calls for the bell and Darius Carter and Juan Francisco de Coronado are DQed.
Cornette: Wrestling fans, put your hands together for the most dangerous tag team in wrestling today, Loverboy Dennis, Beautiful Bobby, The Midnight Express! You know the deal, The Midnight Express are here to continue their walk through all the other tag teams that honorably fell in glorious battle as a part of the LCW tag team tournament.
Gary Michael Cappetta leans in toward the microphone: Sounds a bit like a losers bracket, Jim.
Cornette: No, no!!! Stick to what you’re good at, Cappetta. As a matter of fact, go find something you’re good at and stick to it there. It’s not at all like a losers bracket. It’s the Midnight Massacre bracket. A showcase for the greatest tag team in the sport, The Midnight Express!
Midnight Express vs. Kenny Jay & Jake Milliman – Jake Milliman really takes the fight to Dennis Condrey. He’s able to connect with his SECOND ROPE HEADBUTT on two separate occasions. Jim Cornette’s constant distraction saved the day and opened the door for the Midnight Express to pin Kenny Jay after a MIDNIGHT MASSACRE.
Bruiser Brody vs. “Sick” Nick Mondo – A rematch from last week’s LCW Go!, after Mondo was DQed for putting Brody through a table. The bell rings and Nick Mondo is all offense! He’s throwing everything he has at Bruiser Brody but nothing seems to be phasing him. Mondo makes the mistake of taking the fight to the outside and that’s when Bruiser Brody takes over. He throws him from guard rail to guard rail before rolling Mondo back into the ring and finishing him with the JUMPING KNEE DROP.

LCW Monday Night TNT Monday, March 4 – Year 1
Gavin Loudspeaker: It’s Monday night! You know what that means!
Ian Riccaboni: That’s right, time for Monday Night TNT! Tonight we continue the tag team and women’s title tournaments.
Loudspeaker: Starting us off tonight is nobodies favorite wrestler, Daniel Richards.
Riccaboni: He asked for this match despite not being on the LCW roster…
Loudspeaker: …under threat of lawsuit…
Riccaboni: …after he was beaten up by The Start Up. And he has a match tonight against the most brutal of the group, Sozio.
Loudspeaker: That’s not a match I would ask for.
The Progressive Liberal Daniel Richards vs. Sozio – Sozio is looking to make a statement. He uses every move in his arsenal and then some. Referee Morgan Dollar turns a blind eye to some of Sozio’s less than legal tactics but, in the end, it’s a perfectly placed lariat that gets Sozio the win.
Gavin Loudspeaker: Guess that’s the last we’ll see of The Progressive Liberal.
Ian Riccaboni: I guess so. He’s definitely not LCW material after that performance.
Gorgeous George vs. Jerry Lynn – Great back and forth match which saw George’s valet, Cherie Dupre, fake that she was going to spray George’s perfume in Jerry Lynn’s face. Lynn’s momentary flinch was all it took for Gorgeous George to gain the upperhand. Jerry Lynn is forced to tap to the Georgie’s SPINNING TOE HOLD.
LCW Tag Team Tournament: The Valentines vs. MJF & Hammerstone – Hammerstone absolutely steamrolls Johnny Valentine and finishes him with the NIGHTMARE PENDULUM.
Nick Bockwinkel, Ray Stevens and Bobby Heenan walk out onto the entrance stage laughing and slapping their knees at the Valentines’ loss.
Bobby Heenan speaks into a microphone: I guess today isn’t Valentines’ Day then is it?
The three laugh again and then make their way to the ring for their own tournament match.
LCW Tag Team Tournament: Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens vs. Logan Black & Rex Havoc – Bockwinkel and Stevens walk through Logan Black and Rex Havoc, getting an easy victory after a double team suplex on Logan Black. After the match, Greg and Johnny Valentine run in and attack.
Dave Marquez live video call with Ted DiBiase:
Marquez: I had planned to do this in person but you haven’t shown up to an LCW arena in weeks. It’s a bit odd that the champion of a wrestling company is not visible at that company’s wrestling events, isnt’ it?
DiBiase: My presence is felt on LCW TV each week, is it not? And besides, I am far too busy running the Million Dollar Corporation to worry about making sure the fans see my face each week.
Marquez: Well the reason I wanted to talk was that, as you know, the LCW World Title needs to be defended every 30 days or it will be forfeited. The LCW board of directors and fans hope that the title will be defended more often than that, but that doesn’t seem to matter much to you. The next big pay per view event will feature the Super Cruiserweight division exclusively so you’ll have to defend the title on LCW TV before March 17th and that date is fast approaching.
DiBiase: I understand all of that. I know how to read a contract, Dave… I’ll tell you what, I’ll clear my schedule next Monday night. The Legends Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight Title will be defended on Monday Night TNT. Who should it be against, Dave?
Marquez: We have a long line of contenders waiting to…
DiBiase: Remember, Dave. I have creative control. I choose my opponents. Say, Jim Duggan has been on a roll of late, hasn’t he?
Marquez: Actually, yes. He would be a great option for Monday night’s match. LCW’s TV champion versus the LCW World Heavyweight champion.
DiBiase: Book it, Dave. Fax me the contract. I’ll have my secretary get it back to you before close of business. Hacksaw, I’m talking to you now. I know everyone else in that lockeroom will be watching. Let me be clear, Duggan. I’m impressed that a simpleton like yourself has done as well in LCW as you have. Monday night, I’ll grant you the opportunity of your lifetime.
LCW Women’s Title Tournament: Madison Rayne vs. Solo Darling – Rayne and Darling fill fifteen minutes with back and forth non-stop action. While Solo Darling never quite seems close enough to victory, she impresses every fan in attendance and watching at home. She shows tons of heart and grit in her LCW debut, even in defeat. Madison Rayne is able to get the victory after a RAYNE CHECK that leaves Darling bleeding from the mouth. The crowd is on their feet cheering for these two women!
LCW TV Title: Jim Duggan vs. Reckless Youth – Hacksaw and Reckless Youth put on a fantastic match. Reckless Youth hits more often but when Hacksaw hits, it’s much heavier. Reckless Youth is able to surprise Duggan with a springboard crossbody to pick up the win and the LCW TV Title. Duggan is left stunned in the ring.
Before the next match, Courtney Rush crawls out from under the ring and takes a seat in the front row at ringside.
LCW Women’s Title Tournament: Nora Greenwald vs. Maria Manic – Nora wins a really quick match with a FLIPPING SEATED SENTON.
The bell rings and Courtney Rush jumps over the guard rail. Penelope Ford, now sporting blood red hair, crawls out from under the ring. Maria Manic rises and all three slowly descend on the cornered Greenwald. Malia Hosaka and Davina Rose run down to make the save. The show ends with the six women in a standoff.

LCW Thursday Night Thunderstrike Thursday, March 7 – Year 1
The show opens with the usual fireworks.
Gavin Loudspeaker: We are live! And Thursday Night Thunderstrike is underway!
Ian Riccaboni: And we have an exciting night of matches in store! The LCW tag team and women’s title tournaments continue with some great matches. Jazz versus Davina Rose will be our main event tournament match tonight.
Loudspeaker: But first! The Midnight Express taking on Shynron and Samuray del Sol.
Riccaboni: That’s right. The Midnight Express was eliminated from the tag team tournament but Jim Cornette has vowed to beat every single team that is eliminated en route to their own title shot.
Loudspeaker: Let’s get to the action!
Midnight Express vs. Shynron & Samuray del Sol – Samuray del Sol charges and takes Dennis Condrey down with a head scissors. Condrey rolls to the outside and del Sol celebrates by pumping his fists and chanting “Lucha! Lucha! Lucha!” along with the crowd. Condrey rolls back into the ring and immediately goes on the offensive. The Midnight Express use a series of their typical finishers before they mercifully end the match with a Double Goozle on Samuray del Sol.
Jim Cornette joins his team in the ring: The Midnight Express – CHOO CHOO – They’re rollin’ on! Right on down the track, and right over this lucha party, along our way to that tag team title! Loverboy Dennis and Beautiful Bobby don’t need a hot shot tournament to the title. They earn their shots, thrilling the fans and leaving a trail of swooning ladies along the way. The Midnight Express and ‘ole Jimmy Cornette will get the last laugh, no matter which tag team wins this farce of a tournament.
Backstage Malia Hosaka walks into Dave Marquez’s office: Hosaka: Dave, you gotta put me in the ring with Courtney Rush. I’m going to get my hands on her one way or another.
Marquez: I might as well get the ratings for it.
Hosaka stares blankly at him: This is serious, Dave. She’s terrorized Nora for weeks. It’s time she gets a taste of her own medicine. But you know what, I don’t want her finding some weasley way out of it. I’m sick of her escaping defeat with an easy DQ loss. I want her stuck in that ring with me. Dave, I want Courtney Rush in a 2-out-of-3-falls match.
Marquez: You got it, Malia. Monday night, the co-main event for Monday Night TNT will be Malia Hosaka vs. Courtney Rush in a 2 out of 3 falls match. All of the wrestlers in the back will be barred from ringside. It will just be you, her and the referee.
LCW Tag Team Tournament: The Valiants vs. John Kermon & Jeff King – The match starts with Jeff King actually getting the better of Luscious Johnny Valiant, using his very technical brand of wrestling. The Valiants come firing back with their unique brand of double team offense. Jeff King is hurting but when Johnny Valiant misses a top rope attack, King rolls him up for a quick 1-2-3. King and Kermon roll to the outside and jump up and down in excitement at their huge upset win!
Amber Gertner is backstage with Jim Duggan: Gertner: I imagine you’re pretty bummed after losing the LCW TV Title…
Duggan: United States TV Title…
Gertner: Of course… How are you feeling after losing that title Monday night. The title that you fought so hard to even get created and even harder to win.
Duggan: Well Amber, I’ll tell you what. Hacksaw isn’t feeling quite like his bright and chipper self right now. I ain’t flying that flag quite as high today.
Gertner: But now this coming Monday night you have a shot at Ted DiBiase’s World Heavyweight Title. Does that take a little of the sting off of that loss?
Duggan: You bet it does! The Million Dollar Man is tough. But he ain’t as tough as Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Monday night, I’m walking to the ring with this board and that flag and we’re walking out with that title around my waist. HOOOOOO!!!
LCW Tag Team Tournament: King Kong Bundy & Mr. Hughes vs. Martin Stone & Johnny Saint – Bundy and Hughes charge their much smaller foes the second the bell rang. Bundy and Hughes then proceed to slowly and methodically pick apart the back of Johnny Saint. Bundy favors the bear hug, while Hughes his triple backbreakers and a power bomb. Martin Stone is able to tag in at one point but Bundy forces him to tag to escape another of Bundy’s brutal bear hugs. The finish comes after two consecutive Mr. Hughes’ SPIKE SLAMS on Johnny Saint. Both Brits are in a lot of visible pain as the match comes to a close.
Sherri grabs the mic from Gary Michael Cappetta: Johnny Saint, Martin Stone… you’ve just run into the Million Dollar Mountains. Hahahaha
Bundy puts a single foot on Johnny Saint’s chest and Mr. Hughes demands that referee Todd Sinclair count the 5-count pin for Bundy.
Dave Marquez comes to the ring for an announcement: I’ll cut right to the chase. Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens both suffered minor injuries in the Valentines’ attack Monday night. Both should be able to be back in action in two weeks so we have postponed their quarter-final tournament match until then but we will also be holding a reserve match for both our tag tournament and our women’s tournament just in case we do have a longer term injury pop up and need to remove someone from the tournaments. We’ll be announcing who will be participating in those matches in the days to come.
LCW Women’s Title Tournament: Barbi Hayden vs. Saturyne – It’s a classic battle of strength versus speed and agility and it made for a fantastic match. A perfect stalemate. Like a tennis match the competitors volley offense back and forth, neither able to get enough of an advantage to even attempt a pin. A back elbow smash by Barbi Hayden sends Saturyne tumbling from the ring. Barbi is happy to follow. Saturyne is wobbled and Hayden takes full advantage, throwing the luchadore from ringpost, to guardrail and then finally out onto the ringside crowd. Referee Bryce Remsburg has seen enough and calls for the bell. Saturyne wins by DQ.
LCW Women’s Title Tournament: Jazz vs. Davina Rose – Jazz uses Southern Comfort to slow down the much quicker, more agile and more smiley Davina Rose. Moments later, Davina Rose is hanging in the air, screaming her submission as Jazz holds her up in the BITCH CLAMP.
Jazz grabs a microphone: This buncha beauty queens got nuthin’. At the end of this tournament, it will just be me, belt raised high above my head, standing on top of a pile of plastic Barbie doll wannabe wrestlers.
