Really enjoying this thread, especially the use of some of the indy cards as enhancement talent. I'm always on the lookout for solid 'job guys' to add to my Legends fed! Thanks, man. I appreciate the feedback. Some of my favorite options for indy enhancement talent are The Hobo and Manimal. They both just feel like some good old fashioned guys you never expect to get a win. Someone you can imagine seeing on WCW Saturday Night, Pro, Worldwide, etc. Or whatever WWF's Superstars type of shows. Cheeseburger is another one. I mean, he's called Cheeseburger. Of course he's not going to be taken seriously as a contender. Robbie Ellis is kind of fun since he has been wrestling for a very long time, just not SUPER consistently or at a high level. Then there are guys like John Kermon, Rex Havoc and Logan Black I view as more tough feeling guys who you feel like they could someday pick up a win and once in a while they surprise you and get one. At some point I am going to bring in Warren Barksdale as well. Again, a police officer gimmick with the last name Barksdale just feels so early nineties jobber.

It can be hard to follow along with a tournament bracket in this format unless you have a visual so I put together a very rudimentary bracket graphic. I will update it after each in-game week's action.

Great stuff, pikemojo. I really enjoy your backstage and interview segments. They add that extra layer that makes the shows really come alive. I love what you're doing with Courtney Rush, too - she's been a favorite of mine for years. Good mix of talent, matches, and rivalries overall. I'll be watching for sure.

Appreciate the feedback! When I decided to relaunch my fed, I had hoped to make it feel somewhat authentic from the number of matches on a card to interviews and backstage segments as well as having announcers that can help push the story forward and be tools to help remind myself and readers of what has happened previously and reasons there may be for specific matches on that night's card. I also tend to watch interviews of wrestlers to try to mimic their specific style of interview. Thanks again for reading and commenting!

LCW Global Saturday, March 2 – Year 1
TJ Perkins vs. Cheeseburger – TJ Perkins and Cheeseburger open the show with a surprisingly competitive match. Cheeseburger doesn’t get a ton of offense but he’s able to fend off Perkins’ pin and submission attempts. Finally, TJP is able to lock in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK right in the center of the ring. Cheeseburger has no other choice than to tap.
Sozio vs. Kenny Jay – Sozio hits Kenny Jay with a series of chops before crushing him with a powerbomb for a super fast win. He spits on the downed Sodbuster before leaving the ring.
Amber Gertner is backstage with the Sheepherders: Gertner: I’m here with Butch and Luke, the Sheepherders. You guys… Butch: Whoa! Luke: Yay! Gertner: *chuckle* Monday night you guys notched your first win in Legends Championship Wrestling. To make that win even sweeter, you beat the debuting Midnight Express and moved on to the next round of the LCW tag team tournament. Butch: Amberrrr!!! Tag team champions has a nice ring to it, don’t it? Luke: Yay!!! Butch: The Midnight Express came to the ring dressed in their beautiful robes, their flowing hair, their fancy moves and that slimy snake Jim Cornette in their corner… And we crushed those bloody Yankees and now we’re marching… The Sheepherders have marched through every tag division we been a part of. No difference here. We’ll march right through to the tag team championship! We gonna have a lotta fun! Luke: Whole lotta fun! The Sheepherders continue marching around the interview area as we go back to the action in the ring.
Johnny Saint vs. Robbie Ellis – Saint and Ellis exchange holds back and forth before Robbie Ellis goes on an offensive flurry that ends with a vertical suplex and pinning combination. Johnny Saint is unable to kick out and Robbie Ellis picks up his first victory in LCW.
Harley Race vs. Bobo Brazil – Harley Race absolutely demolishes Bobo Brazil. Bobo is a tough son of a gun, though. It takes three Harley Race PILEDRIVERS to finally keep Brazil down for the three count.
Harley Race grabs a microphone and yells into it: I’m coming for that LCW Heavyweight title. This was your number one contender? I didn’t even break a sweat. The Million Dollar Man seems to be unwilling to defend the title. I’ll keep fighting until he has no choice but to defend against me. This is a warning for ALLLL of the heavyweights in Legends Championship Wrestling. I’m coming. He throws the mic down and walks off as LCW Global goes off the air.

Nice to see Ellis grab a win. Brazil showed grit if not enough fire from the sounds of it.

Nice to see Ellis grab a win. Brazil showed grit if not enough fire from the sounds of it. Brazil has been at the top of the division since the start. He just came out flat here. But, yes, while he didn't have a lot of offense, he didn't go down too easily.

LCW Saturday Night Saturday, March 2 – Year 1
Chris Candido vs. Ares – Ares is able to keep Candido from getting off too much offense, while not really getting any meaningful offense in himself. Candido is quickly frustrated and decides to turn toward his extreme roots. The fight goes to the outside and Candido powerbombs Ares onto the announce table and is immediately disqualified.
Candido grabs a mic from ringside: Nick Mondo! You call yourself SICK. I’ve seen you do some twisted stuff in the ring. I respect that… but I don’t have a whole lot of respect for you. You’ve been calling out some extreme icons of late. Each of them has handled you easily. Let’s you and me meet here next Saturday night and get a little time in the ring, and hopefully some time outside of it, before Best of the Super Cruisers!
Petey Williams vs. Robbie Ellis – Robbie Ellis again uses a suplex and pinning combination to surprise his opponent and get a victory over another LCW super cruiserweight mainstay.
Gorgeous George vs. Logan Black – Gorgeous George opens the match with an attempt at a headlock takedown. He stops short of yanking his opponent to the ground and gets a disgusted look on his face. He flicks his opponent’s sweat from his fingers and wipes his palms on his trunks. He then turns to Cherie Dupre to spritz his hands with his favorite perfume, Chanel No. 10. Logan Black pounces with a series of chops and a blatant choke. The referee breaks up the choke, which gives George all the space he needs to grip Black with a series of ROLLING HIPLOCKS followed by a SPINNING TOE HOLD for the victory. George can be heard telling Ms. Dupre: I’m going to need two showers after wrestling that sweaty mongrel!
Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express make their way to the ring. Jim Cornette takes the microphone: Listen up! Loverboy Dennis and Beautiful Bobby didn’t come to Legends Championship Wrestling to lose, and certainly not to the Sheepherders… their heads full of rocks. Ugh… I’ve heard you fans talking all week. ‘Oh, Mr. Cornette, Monday night was the worst night of LCW’s short, uneventful history.’ And you’re right. And from the bottom of our hearts, we’re sorry. But Mother always said I was a generous soul! Here’s what Jim Cornette and the Express are going to do for you. The Midnight Express is going to fight their way through each and every one of the tag teams that is eliminated from this tournament, starting in just a moment. Just a little more bad news we get to some good news. April 7th at Spring Breakout will be another dark day in LCW as a non-Midnight Express tag team is crowned champion… Soon after they’ll have no choice but to defend against Beautiful Bobby and Loverboy Dennis and then we can treat you fans to the greatest day in LCW history. The crowning of the Midnight Express as tag team champions of the world! Now, let’s bring out the first victims.
Midnight Express vs. The Hobo & Manimal – Manimal enters the ring swinging his big club around, nearly hitting referee Bryce Remsburg in the head. Bryce takes exception to that and give Manimal a shove, sending him stumbling backward and out of the ring. Eaton and Condrey use the opportunity to double team The Hobo. The Hobo fights back a little but when Eaton and Condrey connect with MIDNIGHT MASSACRE, it’s all over.
“Sick” Nick Mondo is pacing back and forth in a dark portion of the backstage area when a camera man catches up to him: Chris Candido… You’re right, I have been taking on… and losing to some of my extreme heroes. You’ll notice I didn’t fire any challenges in your direction. I don’t look up to you. You’re no hero of mine… but, sure, let’s dance. Why don’t we remove those pesky rules too. You… Me… Let’s bleed!
DDP vs. Martin Stone – DDP wins a quick one with the DIAMOND CUTTER.
Lou Thesz comes to the ring for his match. He grabs a ringside microphone before his opponent makes his way to the ring: I saw Harley Race saying he’s coming for the LCW Heavyweight Title. Did you forget, Harley? It was me who beat you fair and square in the middle of the LCW ring at IncrediBRAWL. In what world do you think that you are deserving of a shot at the title before me? Get your head out of the clouds! The Million Dollar Man has to defend his title someday soon and there’s no one more deserving than me. Once that title belt is wrapped securely around my waist, I might be convinced to grant you a shot. First things first, I have a match to attend to.
Lou Thesz vs. RVD – RVD has had a number of DQ losses as of late so he opts to keep this match clean. It’s a tough, hard fought contest by both men. Both are able to kick out of each other’s finishers at various points throughout the match but it’s Lou Thesz who is able to get the 1-2-3 on RVD after a series of especially punishing dropkicks. They shake hands after the match but RVD doesn’t seem too pleased with the results.
