LCW Saturday Night January 19, Year 1
Nick Mondo vs. Jeff King – Nick Mondo attacks Jeff King before Gary Michael Cappetta even finishes announcing the wrestlers. Mondo is super aggressive in the early moments of the match, which allows King to lock him up in his signature BEAR HUG. Mondo easily escapes and puts King away with the LIFE CUTTER.
Backstage Amber Gertner is with Greg Valentine: Gertner: “Greg, you’re fresh off the big LCW World Heavyweight Championship tournament and tonight you’re meeting with a veteran wrestler making his debut in LCW, Ray “The Crippler” Stevens. Your thoughts…” Valentine: “Amber, it’s no secret that I came to LCW with the promise of gold. I wanted that World Title belt on my mantel. I fell short of that goal… for now. My eyes are still on that prize but I know that in order to get another shot at the title, I need to slap that figure four leglock on a few more victims. I may need to break a few more legs to get there. Ray Stevens! I’m glad that I get to be the one to welcome you to Legends Championship Wrestling. You know why, Amber? Because tonight… you’re about to see the crippler crippled.”
Pete Dunne vs. Steve Regal – The Bruiserweight takes the fight to Regal before Gary Michael Cappetta even finishes his introductions. Dunne’s hard hitting offense is just too much for Regal. He finishes the match with the tombstone piledriver.
Courtney Rush vs. Davina Rose – Davina Rose is all smiles as she walks to the ring, hugging a few young fans along the way. And Courtney Rush looks like she’s risen straight out of hell just for this match. It’s downright scary! The two ladies get face-to-face and Rush licks Rose across the face. Davina backs away repulsed as Courtney Rush gets a huge, evil smile on her face. Rose charges but gets hit with a clothesline for her troubles. Rush pounds Davina into a corner, takes a few steps back, screams and then charges! Davina Rose moves out of the way at the last possible second and Rush goes crashing to the floor. Davina Rose has had enough and goes on the attack, hitting Courtney Rush with a belly-to-belly suplex on the floor. She throws Rush back into the ring and nearly gets the pinfall victory. A 2nd rope elbow drop gets her another near fall. Out of nowhere, Courtney Rush springs to life and crushes Rose with the F5 for the win. The crowd was REALLY into this clash of styles matchup!
Rock n Roll Express vs. Jody Fleisch & Reckless Youth – These two teams matched up well for some fast-paced tag-team action! The Rock n Roll Express dominated the early minutes of the match, even nearly getting a pinfall on Fleisch after a picture perfect DOUBLE DROPKICK, but Fleisch and Reckless Youth turned things around with their high-flying offense. The end came after a sweet combination by Fleisch, a running shooting star press followed by two consecutive 720 DDTs.
King Kong Bundy vs. Johnny Mantell – Bundy and Mantell lock up and Bundy sends Mantell tumbling backward with a simple shove. Bundy continues to work Mantell over until finally finishing him with the AVALANCHE.
Greg Valentine vs. Ray Stevens – As the match is getting under way, Nick Bockwinkel walks out onto the stage area, dressed to the nines! He simply stands at the top of the ramp and watches the match. And a great match it was. Valentine and Stevens are as tough as they come! They battle back and forth for a solid 12 minutes. When Steven’s BOMBS AWAY doesn’t get the pin, he throws Valentine out of the ring. The two brawl and the ref begins the count. Stevens tangles Valentine up in some wiring of some kind and punches and kicks away. The ref again shouts instructions to get back to the ring. Stevens turns and points his finger at the ref menacingly… “Tell me what to do again and find out what happens!” The ref asks for the bell to be rung. He declares Valentine the winner before quickly leaving the ring area. Bockwinkel smiles before leaving the stage area as The Crippler continues his beat down of Greg Valentine.
Lou Thesz vs. John Kermon – John Kermon is a tough dude but Thesz makes quick work of him, first using a few submission holds to wear him down and then pinning him with the THESZ PRESS. Thesz helps Kermon to his feet and shakes his hand as we go off the air.

Really neat card. I think Valentine and Stevens will be an amazing feud. I'm ashamed to admit I've never heard of John Kermon, but it's nice to see Thesz treating him with respect.

I have high hopes for Valentine and Stevens as well. Kermon's an indy guy from the PWI set, I think. He has an MMA background so I thought it would be a fun squash match for Thesz.

Nice to see Dunne, Sick Nick, Fleisch and Youth and The Walking Condominium take victories. Fun mix of talent. Thanks! I think the main focus will be on LOW guys and gals but there's definitely a lot of indy talent I enjoy so it's inevitable that they play into things. And sometimes the dice have a mind of their own!

LCW Go! Sunday, January 20 – Year 1
Chris Candido vs. Nick Madrid – Candido dominates Madrid throughout the match, often humiliating him when given the opportunity. He should have put Madrid away when he had the chance though. Candido and Madrid both end up on the mat after a double clothesline. Both stumble to their feet and Madrid springs to life with a RUNNING OF THE BULLS and gets the win!
DDP vs. Manimal – Manimal manages to surprise DDP with a big clothesline to get things started. He then throws Page to the outside and gets a face full of guardrail for the effort. Page rolls Manimal back in and hits him with a TKO style over the shoulder DIAMOND CUTTER for the win.
Jazz vs. Laura Phoenix – Jazz absolutely brutalizes Laura Phoenix. She could have finished her numerous times throughout the match. The one pin attempt Jazz made, after an electric chair facebuster, she ended at the count of 2 by pulling Phoenix up by her hair, turning her over and locking in Southern Comfort for more punishment. A double underhook suplex on the floor knocks Phoenix clean out and she’s unable to respond to the referee’s 10-count. Jazz wins and sends a message to the rest of the LCW women’s division.
Jim Duggan power walks to the ring and grabs the mic out of Gary Michael Cappetta’s hands: “I’m here to defend the honor of the good ole US of A. I want to challenge the toughest tough guys from all ‘round this planet. I’ll prove that ole Hacksaw is the toughest… and I’ll prove that the United States of America is the toughest. I’m going to call this series of matches Duggan’s International Combat Challenge. For short, we’ll call it DICC… heh, heh... let’s stick with the long version… Whatta you think about that!!?!! Ole Hacksaw's taking on the world!” *the crowd cheers USA, USA, USA* “HOOOOOO!!!”
Jim Duggan vs. Ares – Hacksaw got more than he bargained for with Switzerland’s Ares. Ares took the fight to Duggan from the very first bell. A TIGER DRIVER nearly finished the all American tough guy but he battled back and was able to win the match with a FLYING SPEAR.
As Duggan celebrates in the ring, the announcers remind fans to be sure to tune in to the inaugural episode of LCW Monday Night TNT tomorrow night!

LCW Monday Night TNT Monday, January 21 – Year 1
The show opens with a big fireworks display in the open-air stadium. LCW Monday Night TNT is LIVE!!! Dave Marquez: “Welcome, wrestling fans, to Legends Championship Wrestling’s Monday Night TNT! We have a great night of matches set for you! Monday Night TNT is LCW’s flagship show and you’re going to feel it tonight! Let’s get going with our first exciting match!”
Nick Mondo, Jody Fleisch & Reckless Youth vs. Samuray Del Sol, Shynron & Nick Madrid – Samuray Del Sol, Shynron & Madrid work together well, keeping Nick Mondo unable to tag out. Mondo is thrown into the corner. Shynron sits him up on the top rope and climbs. Just as he jumps up to hit a huracanrana, Jody Fleisch and Reckless Youth grab Mondo’s legs to hold him in place. Shynron crashes to the canvas. Mondo nails him with a big leg drop from the top as Jody Fleisch and Reckless Youth attack Samuray Del Sol and Nick Madrid. 1-2-3 and the match is over! What an exciting way to start the show!
A video package airs showing highlights of the LCW World Heavyweight title tournament, ending with Ted DiBiase’s win, AJ Styles’ look of despair after losing and DiBiase’s speech afterward.
King Kong Bundy vs. Jeff King – Bundy crushes King with not one but two AVALANCHES to get the quick victory.
Nora Greenwald & Malia Hosaka vs. Blonde Ambition (Maria Manic & Penelope Ford) – Nora Greenwald and Malia Hosaka work well together. The ring veterans keep Maria Manic away from her partner and unable to tag out. Penelope Ford tries to get in on the action numerous times but is always stopped by the ref or by the team of Greenwald and Hosaka. Malia Hosaka finishes Maria Manic with the FRANKENSTEINER.
Lou Thesz & Harley Race are shown talking backstage as Harley Race finishes lacing up his boots. Lou Thesz: “Hey Harley! Did you catch my match over the weekend?” Race: “Against Jim Cannon, right?” Thesz: “Well, John Kermon… but yeah!” Race: “Right, right, right… nope, didn’t see it. Tough fight?” Thesz: “Well, no, I mean he’s still young but he’ll get there...” Race: “Then why the heck would I have gone out of my way to see you stretch some green rookie. If I wanted to see that, I’d go down the gym and work them myself. Hmmm… That’s actually a good idea, Lou. Looks like I just made my weekend plans. Thanks! See you around.”
Harley Race vs. Jerry Lynn – Jerry Lynn seems to feel that his best chance to beat Race is to get the fight finished fast. He attacks Race with a series of fast strikes and takedowns but none of them phase Race. Harley takes over on offense and begins his grinding attack of painful strikes, submissions and slams. After a bit more back and forth, he finishes Lynn with the PILEDRIVER.
We go to a clip of Ted DiBiase in the Million Dollar Tower. DiBiase spins around in his leather office chair to face the cameraman. DiBiase: “Ahhh… I see you made it past security. I’ll be having a few conversations to see who’s going to be hitting the breadlines tomorrow. But… since you’re here, I might as well introduce you to someone…” DiBiase motions off camera and Sherri Martel walks into frame. DiBiase: “Everyone watching this already knows Sensational Sherri Martel. She’s the queen of the wrestling world and now she is the Chief Acquisition Officer of the Million Dollar Corporation.” Sherri screams into the camera: “As the Million Dollar Man says, every man has a price! Problem is, most of them ain’t worth a dime!” Dibiase lets out a big hearty laugh and says: In the coming weeks Sherri will be in charge of adding a select few wrestlers to the Million Dollar Corporation’s payroll. Now, security will escort you out… before I send them all packing. Hahahaha!"
DDP vs. Gorgeous George – Cherie Dupre sprays down the ring with perfume prior to Gorgeous George entering the ring. DDP holds his nose as she does so. He goes on the attack as soon as George enters the ring. He doesn’t even get the chance to finish taking off his robe. Page whips George around the ring, ripping his beautiful robe. Once free from his now ragged entrance attire, George slaps DDP across the face. Page fires back but finds himself rolled up in a small package. George grabs the tights and gets the quick pin. He rolls out of the ring and hugs Cherie. A fan at ringside reaches out for a high five. George backs away with a look of disgust on his face as he makes his way back to the dressing room, while DDP is still sitting in the ring stunned.
Nick Bockwinkel vs. Buddy Rogers – Two of the very best wrestlers of all time square off tonight, with the hope of moving forward in the heavyweight title picture. The two legends battle back and forth. Bockwinkel is getting the better of Rogers in the exchanges. A piledriver and FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK have Rogers on the ropes. He takes the fight to the outside, when from out of nowhere Ray Stevens jumps the rail and starts beating Rogers down. He drops a knee to Rogers’cranium. The ref calls or the bell and Bockwinkel is disqualified. Stevens puts his arm around Bockwinkel’s shoulders as the two make their way backstage laughing and smiling.
Road Warriors vs. The Sheepherders – The two teams surprisingly keep the back and forth brawl in the ring for the entire match. That doesn’t mean it was a clean fight though. This “wrestling match” consisted of more chokes, gouges and haymakers than any pure wrestling holds. But that was to be expected with these two teams. The Road Warriors get the win after a powerful running clothesline by Hawk keeps Butch down for the 3 count. They exit the ring area without any further scuffling. Could that be it? Are these two rivals done with their feud this easily?
Amber Gertner interview with AJ Styles Gertner: “AJ, you came so close to winning the LCW World Heavyweight Title at Champion Clash. It just barely slipped out of your reach and now the Million Dollar Man is the champ. Where is your head at going into your match tonight?” Styles: *sigh* “Amber, I was so close… SO CLOSE to writing my name in the history books of LCW. But I was cheated out of that victory. We should be here standing here talking about how I prevailed through the toughest tournament in professional sports to achieve the crowning achievement in professional wrestling but instead I have to answer questions about where my head is at… You wanna know where my head is at!?! I guess you’ll just have to watch and find out.”
AJ Styles vs. Iron Sheik – The match opens with Iron Sheik spitting in the face of AJ Styles. Styles reels back to punch Iron Sheik and catches another wad of spit, this time right in the eye! From here, Iron Sheik works Styles over with powerful slams, CAMEL CLUTCH holds and the occasional dirty blow behind the referee’s back. Styles only manages a few flurries of offense until he gets fed up with Iron Sheik’s tactics and puts him through a table with the STYLES CLASH. The ref calls for the bell and Iron Sheik is declared the winner. Styles yelling into the camera as the first episode of Monday Night TNT goes off the air. “No more! Never again! I will not be cheated out of a victory again!”
