Didn't WWE blow it with King Baron Corbin . Okay I know his a great heel and knows how to get that hated heat . But shouldn't they of pushed someone else to the next stage/level ?

As long as he doesn't do any King Corbin b.s. I'm okay with it. I feel like he had a lot of momentum going up until he became head of Raw. Then he just became stale. Maybe this'll push him back into contention. And by the reaction he got, I don't think this is the last we've seen of Gable.

Maybe this'll push him back into contention. And by the reaction he got, I don't think this is the last we've seen of Gable. They're doing a coronation on SmackDown tonight, so he's probably gonna do the King Corbin gimmick. |

I think Corbin was a guarantee to win it. Clearly the WWE has a thing for the guy and it's almost always a heel who wins it anyways so they can do the King gimmick.

As soon as I saw the field announced, I figured it was a guarantee he would be King. He is the perfect heel for the role and needed something new. Heard him recently on Sam Roberts and he gets how to be a heel in the modern day and I can appreciate that.

He's also stepped up his game in the tournament and been more watchable which helps. Should be a fun run.

I thought Ricochet would win but I’m very happy Corbin won. He’s my favorite heel and one of the few wrestlers in WWE I actually like in a sea full of boring wrestlers.

I thought Ricochet at first too. I was really enjoying his push. KO too. Thought they had something great going there. Both fizzled quickly. Now Ricochet is doing nothing again and the guy who isn’t afraid to fight anybody is getting lawyers to fight for him. Lame. |
