Can't say I would have expected that either but WWE seems pretty intent on scooping up talent right now. And other than AAA or something, I don't know where else he'd fit. I can't see AEW or ROH being interested in him. He just doesn't fit their mold.

I think we missed the boat on Johnny Filsinger if so, it was not from lack of trying I did not know for sure but I suspected Hennigan was going back to the WWE since, although here in Las Vegas he is the current FSW Mecca Grand Champion, he was not even booked for the upcoming FSW Mecca show whereas if he was going to AEW it would not have been an issue as Fenix and Pentagon are both wrestling at the FSW Mecca show on Sunday.  There is going to be an announcement regarding the status of the FSW Mecca Grand Championship at the show on Sunday. |

One week from the “WAR” and AEW has snagged exactly zero big names for their big debut.

There's really no one who would make a Lex Lugar-like impact on the first episode other than CM Punk and I don't think AEW is going to get him.

John Morrison big star but personally someone else I have never rated . Best thing about him in my opinion Tara Valkyrie . Did Vince get him so AEW couldn't ? . Could see him on Smackdown v Kofi easily .
