OK, am I the only one here who never heard of this guy before Smackdown last Friday? They are making him out like a big deal, but literally I have no clue where he came from. Cain Velasquez I of course knew about, but maybe its just because MMA is more mainstream than Boxing.

I just happened to see something on ESPN about Fury not long ago. Otherwise I wouldn't know his name either.

Boxing just doesn't have the same popularity that it did through the 90s.
Fury is a good fighter with lots of issues. Although the "lineal" heavyweight champ, he's not currently recognized as a champion by any of the major boxing organizations. Defeated Wladimir Klitschko (think I spelled that correctly) a couple years ago, but then was either stripped or vacated all the titles. Fought Deontay Wilder (another top unbeaten heavyweight) to a controversial draw about a year ago.

Tyson Fury a Manchester , England boxer . I am not a boxing fan but know who he is . We was talking about him in WWE lately . A work mate said "What if Tyson Fury had a proper world title boxing match at say Wrestlemania v say Wilder ?" . Interesting idea ? Wont interest me but would bring in boxing fans to get wrestlemania ?

Never heard of him but it’s too bad WWE has no idea how to use Braun Strowman. How a guy like Seth Rollins is walking around as champ with Braun on the roster is hard to understand. This stuff w battle royals and teaming w kids and fighting boxers is side show stuff.
