Torpor def. Santon (Cygnus Air Raid) Santon continues to struggle.. big win for Torpor!
Screw* def. Solar Flare (Freakish Face Slam) Very quick, sudden match. Solar Flare got an early near fall with a leg drop and thought he could go for a Paladin Missile, but Screw popped up while he was climbing the ropes and hit the Freakish Face Slam out of nowhere for the win
Cross Currents def. Mensans (Watery Grave) totally one sided
#1 Contender Match for the Galaxian Title Torin Caleum def. Moonstrike (DQ) Both men were ready to pull out all the stops, but that intensity turned ugly quickly. Moonstrike bashed Caelum into the ring bell on the outside, causing the Dq and busting Caleum's head open
Ricken Prince* def. Jammer*** (Bow to the Prince) Excellent wrestling for most of the match, with excellent back and forth action. Jammer survived the Royal Decree twice. The Prince would not be denied, though, and made Jammer Bow. Blood came out after the match and argued with the referee, pointing out the Prince's illegal finishing move, but to no avail. Blood got in the Prince's face and promised Defiance could play that game, too.
Guardians def. Dorado Sundown***** (DQ) The Guardians practiced what they preached here, cutting off Bullwhip and taking him apart, but never actually pinning him.. after he barely kicked out of the Tomahawk Thrust, Morpheus hit the Trip to Hades twice, but didn't bother to cover him either time. BLacklash had seen enough and slugged the referee when he tried to prevent him from interfering. The Omega quickly cut him off, however, and after one more Trip to Hades, Morpheus joined him to leave both cowboys laying in the ring.

Omega came out to the ring before the card started. He announced that tonight's match between Paladin Power and Torin Caleum and the Prince woudl determine the next chances for both titles.. the winner of the fall would get a Galaxian Title shot, and the winning team would get a Tag Team Title shot. The Ricken Prince stormed to the ring after the announcement, he said he didn't NEED to prove that, as first champs, the deserve a rematch. Omega patiently listened to the tirade and simply responded, 'Go get ready, so you can win the match' He also promised that he was not done with the men from Dorado.. he said they need to step up their game if they want to be remembered as anything more than uncultured thugs.
Trotarus def. Torpor* (Mensan Lock) Quick win for the Mensan. The big excitement happened after the bell, with the return of Commander Sam! The rookie that looked so promising last year returned with a vengeance, making a b-line for the man that put him out of action and tearing into him. Omega and Morpheus were quick to get to the ring to stop him from doing something he'd regret
Jammer* def. Santon** (Bad Night) Vicious match! Both men were bleeding at the end of it from the slug fest that carried both inside the ring and out. After the referee finally regained control and got them on task, Jammer was able to lock in Bad Night to continue Santon's rough streak.
Morpheus***** def. Bullwhip* (Trip to Hades) Bullwhip looked slow and lumbering, and lived up to Omega's words early in the match, but when the crowd started chanting 'Thug' at him, he rallied, turning up his intensity and delivering Twelve O'Clock High several times. Morpheus fought through as the crowd rallied behind him, and finally delivered a Trip to Hades to squeak out a victory. [/b]
Omega** def. Screw*** (Tomahawk Thrust) Another excellent match! Screw took an incredible pounding and just kept coming, getting two near falls. The action went back and forth until Omega delivered a Tomahawk Thrust to get the victory
Paladin Power*** def. Caelum/Prince****** (Solar Flare pins the Prince after a Paladin Missile) Both teams were intense with the high stakes of the match. The Titans got the upper hand on the Prince after several minutes of back and forth action and near falls and were able to finally get the victory after Caelum broke up two sure pins. The Prince was furious after the match, raving about the injustice of it all, and refused to be calmed by his partner or anyone else as he flipped over the announce table
Galaxian Title Match KO Keller def. Blacklash by DQ Not a good day for Dorado Sundown. It was rather questionable that Blacklash deserved a title shot, but Omega and Morpheus agreed that they wanted to make sure the cowboys had no reason to claim they weren't offered their just opportunities. The match was back and forth early on, but the champ was never in much danger. He dropped Blacklash with the Ten Count, but Bullwhip stormed the ring for the save, causing the DQ. Omega and Morpheus quickly followed to make sure Keller didn't need any assistance.
Promoter Notes: Looking back at things, I do wonder what I was thinking sometimes. This was definitely one of the best cards of my early GWF, but what a weird match stipulation! Also, not sure why I kept Sam out so long... I'm not sure how long his injury was for at the time, but generally I make them only a couple cards (to keep feud momentum going).. why I took him out of the picture for almost a year of cards when he's a such a key figure I have no idea.
Also, Blood sorta got screwed.. looks like I never gave him his title shot.. poor guy.

Commander Sam* def. Torpor* (Star Spangled Banner) It's not clear if it was just rust, or his injury, but Sam really struggled here... luckily Torpor is no great wrestler. He was unable to string any offense together, and Sam eventually did for the victory in a less than stellar match
Caelum/Prince*** Cross Currents******* (Royal Decree) The crowd started pretty dead, but boy did these guys put on a show! Great tag wrestling by both teams. The Cross Currents shows some impressive double team moves, but Caelum is just so tough to keep down. The tide eventually turned and Thetis got caught on the wrong side of town for the eventual pin. The Prince was more subdued after last week's big loss, so perhaps this new focus will serve the team well.
Santon def. Screw (DQ) Clearly whatever issues these two silent men have are still unresolved.. Screw ignored wrestling and just charged Santon and tossed him outside.. brawling with him into the crowd and tossing the referee aside.
Guardians*** def. Mensans (Trip to Hades) Morpheus never tagged out of the match! He was cut off early, and Trotarus did his best to get him to tap to the Mensan Lock, but after a solid minute plus Morpheus finally got the the ropes. Staggering, while Trotarus wondered in disbelief what to do next, he ended up with a Trip to Hades to finish a shocking turn around
Morpheus was happy to absorb the appreciation of the crowd for a moment, waiting for them to stop cheering him before he announced that he would be sadly unable to be there for the card on Cetus, as he had to take a detour to scout an exciting new talent. He announced that Moonstrike would join Omega in battling Dorado Sundown in his place. Bullwhip came out and was no happy, and had some words quietly with Morpheus. The co-founder seemed to be concillatory, but a bit dismissive, and the confrontation ended without any attack. Bullwhip stayed in the ring, and after a bit of a delay, it was clear Morpheus had changed a match.
Non-Title match KO Keller def. Bullwhip*** (Ten Count) Bullwhip seemed excited to get his hands on the champ, but Keller was able to ride out the initial onslaughter and pummel the challenger in his usual effecient manner
Galaxian Tag Team Title Match Paladin Power* def. Defiance** (Paladin Drop) ***New Champs*** Blood was not near 100% after the Prince's attack on his knee a couple month ago, and Jammer, never in the best of condition anyway, wasn't able to compensate. The Titans dominated the match and are the new tag team champs!

9/15/75 Miri War Done, Cetus
Torpor* def. Ricken Prince (DQ) Sometimes the Prince is more interested in make his opponent BOW TO THE PRINCE instead of winning the match... this was one of those times
Screw def. Santon (Freakish Face Slam) Screw is clearly starting to put things together, this time easily dispatching his old rival
Torin Caelum* def. Commander Sam* (Caelum's Grip) Sam started strong, but tired quickly, and the veteran took advantage.
Mensans def. Defiance* (Mensan Lock on Blood) Blood was clearly nowhere near 100%, and probably shouldn't have attempted to wrestle. The Mensans quickly took advantage and got the easy victory.
Dorado Sundown def. Omega/Moonstrike********* (Twelve O'Clock High) Just when it looked like the cowboys were beaten, they come back to stomp a mud hole in Omega. Morpheus was sorely missed here, as the Dorado team was masterful in their dismantling of Moonstrike first, then Omega. The picked up their victim twice to make sure they inflicted enough pain before Bullwhip finally pinned Omega.
Dorado Sundown wasn't done after the bell, tossing Moonstrike aside to continue to stomp Omega, leaving him laying nearly unconscious in the ring in front of his home crowd. Blacklash grabbed a mic, and could barely be heard over the boos and anger of the crowd, but he promised that if the GWF was going to respect him, they would fear him, then dropped on the fallen hero and stormed to the back
Galaxian Title Match KO Keller****** def. Solar Flare*** (Ten Count) Amazing match that calmed the crowd down and sent them home happy. Solar Flare wrestled the match of his life, and pulled out all the stops, but despite coming within a wisker of beating the champ, just couldn't keep Keller down. The Titan simply ran out of offense to deliver, and Keller slowly turned the tide and was able to get the victory.

Dorado Sundown def. Mensans***** (Twelve O'Clock High) Blacklash was furious at being back at the opening match of the card, and he and Bullwhip took their frustrations out on the Mensans. Trotarus got pummeled by both men. Corsdae saved him once, but was taken out to prevent a 2nd time.
After the match, Moonstrike came out and, after a long stare down... was given the ring by Blacklash. He apologized to Omega for his failure last month, and offered the Guardians a Title shot in exchange to prove themselves. Omega accepted on behalf of his partner, but told Moonstrike if he really wanted to prove himself he could have a match with Blacklash next card. The two shook on it to a big pop.
Santon* def. Torpor* (Spike Piledriver) Torpor got a near fall early, but that seemed to snap Santon out of his funk and carried him to the victory.
KO Keller/Commander Sam******** def. Cross Currents******** (Ten Count) Epic match as the champ and the rookie get back together. Cross Currents used quick tags and double team moves to try to control the pace, but the two brawlers scored plenty of high impacts in between. Vortex finally fell to the Ten Court just before the time limit.
Screw def. Ricken Prince* (Freakish Face Slam) Squash!
Torin Caelum def. Jammer* (Caelum's Grip) another squash!
Galaxian Tag Team Title Match Guardians def. Paladin Power**** (Tomahawk Thrust) NEW CHAMPS! Omega and Morpheus really rose to the occasion, showing great teamwork and taking apart the champs each in turn. Morpheus dropped Moonstrike with a Trip to Hades while Omega made a blind tag, then dropped him again as soon as he was up with a Tomawhawk Thrust while Morpheus held Solar Flare at bay for the victory

Omega came out to the ring before the action started and announced that in 2076 the GWF would expand operations, and have more cards out on tour, to both give Morpheus a chance to scout and recruit new talent, and for the current wrestlers to have a chance to perform on in front of their home crowds. Dorado Sundown came out for the opener and offered a great place on Dorado for a card, but opined that he'd best make sure they were in the main event.
Bullwhip def. Torpor (Bullwhip Stomp) Squash! Torpor seemed intimidated by the cowboys, as Blacklash stayed at ringside to watch the match
Santon* def. Commander Sam (Spike Piledriver) After a prolonged slump, Santon dominated the rookie here, who has not been the same since returning from injury
Defiance def. Paladin Power (Bad Night) Suprisingly quick victory for Defiance, with Solar Flare tapping out quickly... could the schedule be taking it's toll?
Ricken Prince def. Omega (Royal Decree) The Prince was in top form.. he showed here why some thing he could be the star of the future in the GWF. Omega had no answer for his offense, and the Prince stayed away from any illegal shenanigans
Screw* def. Morpheus** (DQ) These two behemoths practically shook the ring with the titanic clash on the outside.. the referee was certainly not about to separate them. He called for the bell when Morpheus lost his temper and picked up and threw the ring steps at his opponent.
Mensans*** def. Cross Currents**** (Mensan Lock) Good back and forth match between the two tag team contenders
Moonstrike*** def. Blacklash**** (Paladin Drop) Great technical match with surprisingly no tricks from Blacklash. He was once again trying to prove that he was an excellent wrestler and not just a thug, but Moonstrike was just a little bit better on this night. Blacklash was able to kick out of the Paladin Drop at first, then a 2nd one finished the match
Galaxian Title Match KO Keller* def. Torin Caelum**** (Ten Count) Epically dominant performance by the champ, even the great Caelum seemed to have no chance against him. This was a long match, but the result was never really in doubt.

11/15/2075 Aldabaran
Torpor def Cordsar** (Cygnus Air Raid) quick win for Torpor... Cordsar seemed a bit lost in a singles match
Dorado Sundown def Cross Currents******* (Dorado Power Drop) The Cross Currents lasted a while, but never really got much offense in. It was clear that Sundown were very frustrated at the length of the match, and the crowd solidly behind Cross Currents. When Bullwhip finally kept Vortex down, the seemed on the verge of a rampage, but simply stormed out of the arena without even waiting for their hands to be raised.
Trotarus def. Commander Sam** (Count Out) Trotarus simple overpowered young Sam. After the action spilled outside, Trotarus slammed Sam into the ring post, getting the count out victory.
Defiance def. Caleum/Prince (Bad Night) Quick match... Jammer gave the Prince a taste of his own medicine, starting the match off with a low blow, then quickly locked in Bad Night for the win. Caelum hit the ring after the bell to make sure Jammer let the hold go, and the brawl was on! Security finally separated the teams before either team got the upper hand
KO Keller came out to a big pop, and offered an open challenge for next card for the title. Omega answered the call (much to the crowd's chagrin, who were chanting for Morpheus), but the offered anyone else to have their say as well. Screw suddenly was behind the co-founder, and placed his hand on Omega's shoulder. Omega nodded, and offered a match next card for the shot. Screw agreed, but then was attacked by Santon as Omega and Keller left the ring.
Screw def. Santon* (Freakish Face Slam) Despite the pre-emptive attack, Screw was quickly able to overcome his rival's early advantage and rack up another win
Galaxian Tag Team Title Match Guardians def. Paladin Power****** (Trip To Hades) The tag champs sent the crowd home happy with Morpheus standing proud in the center of the ring. The match was never much in doubt, as the champs showed great teamwork and totally cut Moonstrike off from his partner.
