AEW has inspired me to get back to the game... after trying a couple different things, I realized that I missed my history, so I'm going back to the fed I ran WAY back when the Mike M's set first came out.. I was just about ready to head back to 2087 (I'm currently in 2085) when I shifted to try New Beginnings and other things. I thought posting the old results would be fun both to reconnect here and to have a reason to go back over things for continuity purposes. I'm going to use this first post for things like the Title History and links to be events, for easy access Galaxian Heavyweight TitleScrew(2nd) Since 4/16/76def. GWF Inugural Card Deimos 9/11/2074
After tiring of the lawlessness and shady nature of the POW, Omega and Morpheus invested their own personal life savings to get a limited engagement at Deimos' Intergalactic arena, to attempt to bring truly honorable combat sports to the Galaxy. They announced the roster of wrestlers, including two men from Dorado that neither he nor Morpheus seemed to know. The rest of the roster consisted of POW regulars that fans of the underground fight scene would be familiar with, including Boxing Star KO Keller and the incomparable Torin Caelum.
Calling this first event 'a celebration of the sport' Omega and Morpheus promised 2 cards in both October and November to crown the first Galaxian Heavyweight and Tag Team Champions in December.
Results:
Commander Sam def. Torpor with a Full Nelson Suplex Patriots from both sides were clearly engaged in this short contest, with the Earth native overcoming the awkward looking competitor from Cygnus rather easily, to the delight of the humans in the crowd
Defiance** def. Mensans**** when Cordsar taps out to Jammer's Bad Night The early part of the match was a real battle between Blood and Trotarus, but once Cordsar was in the ring, he seemed overmatched by the POW vets. They really worked him over, including sending him to the floor several times, before Jammer finished him off with Bad Night
After his partner helped him up post-match, Cordsar was very angry at the loss, and his summary treatment. 'This is what you can honorable competition Omega?!' he cried, as Trotarus helped him to the back.
Torun Caelum def. Santon with Caelum's Grip The contest started slowly, as the two men felt each other out, but Caelum proved his versatility when Santon took the match to the floor and he outbrawled him before returning to the ring to get him to tap out to Caelum's Grip.
After the match, the Ricken Prince came down to ringside, and apologized to his adoring public for not competing at this opening card. He announced that he was scouting for an appropriate tag team partner, and informed the victorious Torin Caelum he was worthy of the honor. Caelum seemed amused by the Prince's antics, and bowed to him in the good nature of the moment and accept the invitation.
Paladin Power def. Cross Currents**** with Missile Dropkick on Vortex The Titans were extremely impressive here.. they never let Vortex out of the ring in a true clinic of tag team wrestling
KO Keller*** def. Screw by DQ The big man was in firm control, shrugging of Keller's best strikes and landed his Freaking Face Slam TWICE, but the resilient Keller kicked out both times. The second was all Screw could take, as he launched Keller out of the ring and drove him into the ring steps, causing the DQ.
Dorado Sundown*** def. Guardians(Omega/Morpheus)**** when Omega was pinned by Blacklash after Sundown After the initial feeling out of the match, Morpheus and Bullwhip went toe to toe on the floor, igniting the crowd with their brawl. Morpheus gained the upper hand and turned things over to co-founder Omega, but the Cetan was unable to to finish him off. The cowboys and eventually wore him down to finish him with Sundown
Morpheus was ready to continue the fight after the bell, but Omega reminded him they are going for fair and honorable competition, and offered his hand to the victorious team. Blacklash acknowledged the praise, but didn't take the hand offered, instead raised his own and his partners in victory as the Guardians looked on.

GWF Singles Tournament 1st Round Deimos 10/1/2074
Blood def. Bullwhip by DQ Bullwhip had the upper hand early on, but was unable to put Blood away with Twelve O'Clock. When the action spilled outside Blacklash came down to ringside and [font delivered a lariat to Blood, causing the DQ. Jammer quickly hit the ring to make sure there was no double team attack
Jammer was furious at the interruption of the title tournament, and demanded that Defiance have the privilege of eliminating Dorado Sundown from the Tag Team Tournment. Blacklash was closest to him and responded 'It's your funeral, Pardner' and went to the back to prepare for his match.
Moonstrike* def. Ricken Prince (Paladin Drop) The Prince was in control early on, but a missed turnbuckle charge spelled doom for his chances.
Torin Caelum* def. Santon* (Caelum's Grip) The action went back and forth early on, with each man escaping the other's finisher. Caelum was first to get to a 2nd attempt to get the victory
Screw def. Jammer*** (Freakish Face Slam) Jammer hung on as long as he could, but Screw was too much to overcome
Blacklash* def. Solar Flare* (Sundown) The match looked to be a squash early on, but Solar Flare fought back and almost pulled off the upset with a Paladin Missile to get a near fall. BLacklash recovered quickly and moves on to represent Dorado in the 2nd round
Blacklash wasn't done after the match, sharing the video of his win last week over Omega. He wanted to make sure none of the fans missed itm and promised there would be plenty more where that came from.. unless of course Omega wanted to just make him the commissioner and leave now. BLacklash ignored the boos cascading down to laugh at his joke, the raised his arms again and left the ring.
KO Keller def. Trotarus*** (Ten Count) Easy win for Keller
Torpor* def. Morpheus by DQ The first upset of the night was a huge one! Torpor left the ring to get a breath, and Morpheus followed. The Cyngusian attempted to hit him with a steel chair, but missed. Before he was able to wind up for a 2nd attempt, Morpheus kicked the chair into his face. Morpheus returned to the ring, content to get a count out win when the referee signalled for the bell, called for the disqualification/
Morpheus was beside himself in anger, and seemed ready to pummel the referee when Omega (coming down for his match) barrelled down to the ring to stop him. After a tense conversation, Morpheus relented and headed to the back, destroying every inanimate object in his path on the way.
Commander Sam def. Omega***** (Star Spangled Banner) No controversy here, just the birth of a new star! The rookie Sam threw everything he had at the tournament favorite, getting several near falls as the crowd began to believe he might actually pull off a victory. Omega never mounted any serious offense.. perhaps he was worried about the events with Morpheus a few minutes before. Sam hit the Star Spangled Banner for the 3rd time to get the pin and the HUGE upset victory! The crowd and Omega gave him a huge hand as Blacklash and Bullwhip stood at the locker room entrance and watched in delight.

GWF Tag Team Tournament 1st Round 10/15/74 Deimos
Santon def. Screw by DQ I bit of a strange match, since neither man is much for talking, but the intensity could not be denying in this opener between two men with no connections other than a hatred of each other. The match quickly spilled outside and went out of control.
Torin Caelum/Ricken Prince**** def. Cross Currents******* (Running Knee drop by Prince on Thetis) New friends Caelum and the Prince were very impressive, dominating the more seasoned team, keeping Vortex isolated. Thetis made the save after Bow to the Prince, but his partner may not have thanked him as his pummelling continued. Vortex escaped at last (7 Tokens!!) only to see Thetis go down quickly to a running knee drop
KO Keller/Commander Sam def. Paladin Power (Star Spangled Banner on Solar Flare) Is there anything this rookie cannot do? Teaming with vet KO Keller to learn from the best brawler in the business, Sam easily dispatched Solar Flare in a major upset!
Mensans def. Guardians**** (Mensan Lock by Trotarus on Morpheus) The GWF's founders continue to struggle, and the Mensars came out with purpose and showed great teamwork to stay one step ahead of the Guardians. Morpheus got isolated and eventually fell to Trotarus' power.
Dorado Sundown came out quickly for their match, and they were in a jubiliant mood. They gave the Guardians a big ovation for their impressive loss. Bullwhip opined how they can be running the place when they can't even win a match? Morpheus, enraged, attacked, but Omega held him back, promising a match on the next card to settle things 'the right way'
Defiance def. Dorado Sundown by DQ Following Omega's preferred method, Defiance allowed the Guardians to leave the ring area and waited for the cowboys to be ready before starting the match. Blood and Jammer looked good early, getting the upper hand on Bullwhip until he left the ring for a breather. Morpheus charged by down to ring side an held him while Blood delivered a devastating elbow to the back of the head from the apron while Blacklash was arguing with the referee. Having seen enough, Blacklash tossed the ref aside to help his pard, and chased a smirking Morpheus off as the shaken referee called for the DQ.

I feel they were spending too much time on administration, and underestimated the competition a bit. They get better Galaxian Tournament Quarterfinals Deimos 11/1/2074 Preliminaries Solar Flare def. Jammer by DQ Solar Flare was in firm command of the match when Jammer got frustrated and choked him out, causing the DQ Omega def. Ricken Prince (Tomahawk Thrust) Omega gets one into the books with an easy win over the Prince Mensans* def. Cross Currents** (Mensan Lock on Thetis) The Mensans were impressive once again, overcoming a slow start to cut Thetis off and work him over for the win The final prelim was scheduled as Dorado Sundown against the Guardians, but Blacklash came out alone and told the crowd he was not going be competing twice in one day. He accused Omega of trying to sabotage his chances at the Galaxian Title, and demanded the match be cancelled. Morpheus came out in answer and was very simple in his reponse 'Fine, get you fat partner out here and I'll just kick his @$$ today, you can wait. Blacklash smirked and nodded.. patting Morpheus condesendingly on the shoulder as he muscled past him on the way back to the locker roomMorpheus def. Bullwhip (Trip to Hades) Despite his tough talk, Morpheus was all business in the ring, taking Bullwhip's initial flurry of offense and countering effortlessly. He quickly hit the Trip to Hades for the win. After looking at him and seemingly considering further attacks, he settled for stomping on his hat and tossing it into the crowd before heading to the back, Tournament QuarterfinalsBlacklash* def. Screw (Sundown) Brutal slugfest outside the ring, with the monster Screw pummelling the Doradoan at first, but Blacklash was able to come back and make get the action back in the ring, when he showed he's not all dirty tricks, getting the upper hand with actual wrestling before finishing the job with Sundown KO Keller def. Torin Caelum*** (Ten Count) Striking defeated grappling easily as these two vets went at it. Keller kept the action upright and countered Caelum's speed with quick jabs and was able to put him down with the Ten Count to advance. Moonstrike def. Torpor (Roll up) Blood def. Commander Sam*** (Scar Tissue) Sam's improbable string of rookie success ends with an entertaining match. The crowd was really behind him, but he was unable to mount much offense against the determined veteran/

The Semi-Finals Deimos 11/15/2074
Prelims
Solar Flare def. Vortex (Paladin Missile) Quick win for Solar Flare
Santon** and Screw battle to a no contest This one was even wilder than the first time, as the action actually spilled into the crowd! Fans were alternately entranced and fleeing in terror as the behemoth Screw pitted his might against the masked man known only as Santon. Security stepped in when Santon actually drew the (perhaps not so) cerimonial sword he carries to the ring.
Morpheus, who was coming out for his match anyway, addressed the two men being held apart. He promised them a POW rules match to settle things, as long as they would stop the nonsense and fight within the rules after that. The crowd popped for the announced as both silent warriors nodded acceptance.
Morpheus def. Torpor (Natural Disaster) Morpheus really played to the crowd during his match, toying with Torpor a bit to please the crowd before finishing him off. As he was playing to the crowd Bullwhip took out his legs with a chop block, then planted him with Twelve O'Clock High to give Blacklash a chance to hit the ring to deliver Rustler's Stampede. Omega and Defiance hit the ring to chase them off, but Morpheus was holding his ribs as he went slowly to the back.
Omega*** def. Bullwhip* (Tomahawk Thrust) The crowd, already in an uproar, seemed ready to riot as Bullwhip was in control early on and shouted 'One down, One to Go' as he worked over Omega. After taking quite a bit of punishment and kicking out of Twelve O'Clock High, Omega was tossed outside, but Bullwhip was more interested in taunting than following up his advantage. Omega hit the Tomahawk Thrust out of nowhere back inside to get the win
Galaxian Tag Team Semi-Finals
Torin Caelum/Ricken Prince def. Mensans (Bow to the Prince on Cordsar) Quick match. Cordsar was furious that the Prince was able to get away with his illegal finisher, but his appeal to the referee just served to make the fans turn on him for delaying the action.
KO Keller/Commander Sam**** def. Defiance* (Ten Count on Blood) Emotions were high after the events on the preliminary bouts, and both teams seemed to be extra motivated. The veteran team were able to cut off Sam from his partner and went to work on him, but a key save by Keller kept the match going. After getting tossed to the floor, Sam snuck back in close enough to the corner to tag out. KO Keller did the rest.
Galaxian Heavyweight Semi-Finals
KO Keller***** def. Moonstrike*** (Ten Count) KO Keller started strong, but worn down coming of the tag team match, giving Moonstrike the chance to pull out all the stops on offense. Keller kept kicking out at the last possible moment, including surviving the Paladin Drop. Luckily for Keller, Moonstrike, a tag team wrestler more often than not, also wore down, and Keller was able to get the upper hand and knock him out with the Ten Count after a fantastic match.
Blacklash def. Blood** (Flying Elbow Drop) Blood had a plan, looking to slow Blacklash down by working over his knee, but he wasn't able to execute. Blacklash showed he's not just a brawler with a high flying attack to advance to the finals

Things definitely got off to a weird start, with two guys I consider tag guys (Moonstrike and Blacklash) in the final four, and two makeshift teams making it to the tag tourney. That doesn't hold forever though Championship Day! 12/11/2074 DeimosBefore the start of the action, Omega came to the ring to thank the fans for their support, and to announce that the GWF has received so much support from its Sol system fans here on Deimos that not only will the GWF continue a monthly show here, but that plans were in the offing for additional events in other locations Commander Sam def. Torpor** (Cobra Clutch) Despite being involved in the tag team title match later, Sam wanted to attempt to continue his momentum and prove his wins have been no fluke against his Cyngusian rival. He did just that, dominating the match and defeating Torpor again. As he was in the ring enjoying the cheers of the crowd, another Cyngusian in the crowd handed Torpor a lead pipe, and in frustration he took Sam's knee out from behind, leaving him writhing in pain in the ring. Sam left on a stretcher. Paladin Power def. Cross Currents***** (Paladin Drop on Vortex) Thetis and Vortex showed some resilience, but no ability to actually do damage, as the Titans won easily in an extended squash. Omega** def. Bullwhip* (DQ) The match was clearly heated, and didn't stay in the ring long. The action started heading down the ramp, where Blacklash was able to duck out of the locker room and assist, causing the DQ. Dorado Sundown seemed ready to put the other of the GWF's co-founders on the shelf when KO Keller and Defiance came out to make the save After helping Omega up, KO Keller told him, and the crowd, the Sam was in no condition to wrestle in the tag team finals, and asked if a replacement partner could be used. Omega agreed, announcing the first guy out to the ring could team with KO tonight, and would hold the tag title for Sam if they win until he is able to return to ring action. After a brief, friendly scuffle in the locker room, Solar Flare emerged first and shook Keller's hand in the center of the ring to join him! Defiance* def. Mensans (Scar Tissue on Trotarus) POW RULES MATCH Screw* Def. Santon (Freakish Face Slam) Just as wild as the crowd expected... after several minutes of brawling, Screw was able to pin Santon with the ring steps and pummel him nearly unconscious. He then tossed him back to the ring and added the freakish face slam for good measure to secure the victory.
Galaxian Tag Team Title Match Torin Caelum/Ricken Prince* def. KO Keller/Solar Flare****** (Royal Decree on Solar Flare) The Prince and Caelum were in the driver's seat from the start, with Keller still reeling from the attack on his protege, he took alot of punishment before finally being able to make a hot tag to Solar Flare. The Paladin cleaned house, but failed to land the Paladin Missile on the Prince which likely would have secured the victory. The failure turned the momentum again, as the Prince recovered and after some good tag team work, finished him with the Royal Decree to win the Titles
Galaxian Heavyweight Title KO Keller** def. Blacklash* (Ten Count) Blacklash was licking his chops in anticipation of embarassing the founders and permanently scarring the GWF's history by being the 1st ever champion, but KO Keller had other ideas. Tired and despondent, the full throated support of the fans seemed to energize him, and he suprised Blacklash from the get go by charging into the ring and lighting him up with a flurry of blows. Blacklash never really was in control, and Keller finished him relatively quickly with the Ten Count to become the first ever Galaxian Champion! Omega came to ringside (while having security quietly detain Blacklash to ensure he didn't cause trouble) followed by the rest of the roster (minus the injured Sam and Morpheus, and of course Bullwhip and Torpor) to honor the new champs and allow the Tag Team champions to join him in basking in the crowd's cheers
