2/19/2076 Albeiro
Commander Sam def. Torpor (Star Spangled Banner) Sam demanded a rematch after his horrible performance last card, and won easily in under two minutes
Ricken Prince def. Jammer (DQ) The match went back and forth early, when as the action when outside a fan hit the Prince with a pitcher of beer, leaving the referee no choice but to call for the bell. The Prince was furious and had to be restrained by security from taking his own revenge
KO Keller* def. Santon* (Ten Count) quick match
Mensans def. Paladin Power (DQ) The Paladins got frustrated and pounded the Mensans outside the ring, but got carried away
Screw*** def. Omega* (Freakish Face Slam) Screw took everything Omega and then turned then powered his way to the victory
Blood def. Bullwhip (Scar Tissue) Bullwhip came out with the intent to speak to the crowd, but the crowd would have none of it. Blood came out to a huge pop and won easily.
GWF Title Match Morpheus* def. Torin Caleum**** (Trip to Hades x3)
NEW CHAMPION!
Caelum started out strong, but lost all momentum when the big man was able to take it. Morpheus slowly built momentum and finally finished him off with a 3rd Trip to Hades to win the tile!

3/7/2076 Deimos
Morpheus began the show in the ring with a few announcements. First, he announced (with obvious delight) the Dorado Sundown have decided to leave the GWF to wrestle in a new federation... he attempted to say 'we wish them luck in their future endeavors', but was unable to get it out without smiling.
After re-composing himself, he announced that his scouting efforts have borne fruit, and has an exciting new tag team ready to debut next week. Not only that, but he also announced a new up and coming star that he suspects will do great things for a long time to come debuting right... now!
Cosmos def. Solar Flare* (Cosmic Skull Smash) Cosmos, at least today, was able to live up to Morpheus' hype, looking solid in making his debut a successful one
Moonstrike def. Torpor (Paladin Drop) The Titans make it a split for the day with an easy victory by Moonstrike
Omega def. Santon* (sunset flip) Surprisingly quick match that Omega saw an opportunity for a quick win, and took it
Screw def. Commander Sam (Roll up) Another quick one.. the crowd seems to be not getting their money's worth tonight! Sam tried a high risk splash from the top rope and missed, leaving Screw the easy pin
Backstage: The Ricken Prince stood with his partner Torin Caleum, and was in a rage being 'defiled' by the 'common folk' on Albiero. He promised that Jammer would be pay a high price for his people's insolence! Caelum has a hand on his partner's shoulder and seemed to be trying to calm him down.
Tag Team Title Match KO Keller/Commander Sam def Mensans (Ten Count) Total domination by the tag champs.. Cordsar saved Trotarus from a first Ten Count, but not the 2nd
Defiance**** def. Prince/Caelum (DQ) The match went back and forth early on, but the Prince eventually was able to get the upper hand and made Jammer Bow not once, but twice.... not even attempting to go for a pin. The 2nd time he played to the crowd too long (who was seeming a bit restless and uncofortable), and Jammer made a the hot tag to Blood. The turned the tide a time, but after s few exchanges The Prince ended up back in the ring with Jammer... it appear he was getting ready to make hin Bow again, but instead touched something on his boot and kick Jammer in the back of the knee. The referee called for the bell as Jammer was clearly seriously injured.

So that's the end of Dorado Sundown.. they definitely are not more than a footnote as perhaps the first true heels.... as a team, 7-7. Bullwhip just 2-9 in signles. I think he was the problem, his card just isn't good enough to hang with Morpheus and Omega. I mean, they're suppose to lose, so that makes sense, but I would have likely to see them do just a bit better and have it be a real feud, rather than have to move them down a bit to make it exciting.
While I can tell by my lack of notes this wasn't the best card, it's definite a historical watershed, with Sundown leaving and Cosmos debuting.

Bullwhip just 2-9 in signles. I think he was the problem, his card just isn't good enough to hang with Morpheus and Omega. It’s so interesting that you had that experience. The first time I played 2074+, I ran a little tournament to determine who would be the inaugural champion, and he won it all. When I got the Early Classics set, I restarted from 2074 with a much larger tournament, and he won again, and held onto the belt for something like fourteen or fifteen months before losing it to Torin Caelum. Funny how the dice favor certain characters for one person and make him an absolute zero for others.

It is interesting as I always thought Bullwhip was understatted for the fact he was facing Omega and Morpheus. At least Blacklash was pretty good.

I can't imaging Bullwhip winning a tournament with Keller, Omega and Morpheus in it, never mind holding a title for more than a transition. It is crazy how that happens... I wonder if it's just randomness, or some subtle combination of the differences the little house rules we all use make, booking, and the like. I agree Blacklash does have a really good card, I feel like he underperformed his stats a bit for me, but it could be because he mostly only fought top tier guys.. maybe if I allowed thema slow build they would have been better?

If I remember correctly, both Blacklash and Bullwhip struggled against the upper-tier guys, but Bullwhip was able to turn things around more often than not, and Blacklash wasn't. Again, if I remember correctly, didn't Bullwhip have double-(0) Finishers on his card, whereas Blacklash had one singles Finisher and one Tag? I think that made the difference for me.

You are correct with the finishers... Blacklash has a +2 singles finisher, and a +3 tag finisher. I hate re-rolling, so I added a -3 move for the '5', and he just hit whatever finisher for that match on 6.. I suppose that might be a little worse that re-rolling for another 1 in 5 chance to hit the finisher, but I just hate re-rolling!

I would probably (if I have him in tag matches) to use the move as a (0) finisher. I have my GWFX fed sleeved so I plan on seeing how they'll do in action when it's fully formed.

I have vague plans in the future for doing a Kronos fed, so maybe I'll give'em another chance there, we'll see.
3/20/2076 Mensa
Cordsar began the show in the ring, to a thunderous ovation. He was just getting going on how he and Trotarus drove the evil Dorado Sundown out of the GWF, and that they deserved a title shot for their service, when Moonstrike interrupted with a dose of reality, show clip of the cowboys beating the Mensans, much to the crowd's chagrin.. Cordsar was furious and demanded a match, which Moonstrike quickly accepted
Santon def. Commander Sam* (Atomic Knee Drop)
Torin Caelum/Torpor def. Cross Currents*** (Caelum's Grip) The new pairing did well.. tagging in and out and dominating the action against their more experienced opponents.
After the match, Caelum told the fans that he was disappointed in the Prince, and thought he could learn to control his emotions and become the great wrestler he has the potential to be.
Omega** def. KO Keller***** (Tomahawk Thrust) Big win for Omega over the former champ. Keller did not go down easy.
Mimic def. Cosmos*** (Mime Nerve Sleeper) Morpheus' 2nd new signee overcomes the hype of his first and gets an impressive debut victory
Ricken Prince def. Blood (DQ) Blood was out for revenge, and quickly took the action outside, posting the Prince and splitting his head open, but also garnering the DQ. He was ready to continue the assault, but the referee and medical staff intervened. He promised he'd make sure the Prince didn't get to wrestling until Jammer was ready to come back, which he said would be 'quite some time'
Paladin Power def. Mensans* (Count Out) The Mensans never got anything going despite the crowd. Cordsar was unable to get back in the ring after Moonstrike slammed him on the concrete.
Galaxian Title Match Morpheus def. Screw (DQ) Screw came out strong, looking like he was well on his way to recapturing the title, but Morpheus was able to use an array of veteran tricks to keep him annoyed and off-balance. He took a break to the outside, and Screw tossed the referee aside to follow, causing the DQ. [i/]
