It's happening on Leap Day, it's in a slightly smaller venue in Chicago than they usually run, and it's the same name as the one they filed a video game trademark for.
Interesting.

I'll never forget the 1991 year-end issue of PWI. On the last page, they had some quotes from certain wrestlers for what 1992 would have in store for them. Sting's quote was "1992 will have 366 days in it and one of them is mine".
Two months later, on February 29, he beat Lex Luger for his second WCW World Title at SuperBrawl II. I immediately remembered that quote and thought "hmmmmmmmm, that's very ironic". Haha.

I'm wondering if that have a big angle plan, or if the just like the name. I assume they'll hold Jericho - Mox and Cody - MJF for this as the main events. Maybe Omega - Page? Finally a match for Hager against Dustin? Tag title match, WOmen's Title match. That's most of the card. Nothing too Revolutionary there.

It's probably a tie-in with the announcement of the video game since the show is being held the same weekend as C2E2 (it's a convention in Chicago). Now if we're going to start taking PPV event names literally, I think we all need to have a discussion about nobody getting the death penalty at Capitol Punishment 2011 or why there were no actual Roadblocks on the WWE Roadblock Pay-Per-Views or why nobody was actually sacrificed at TNA Sacrifice or how the world never ended at any of the WWF Armageddon shows or Bash at the Beach only happening at a beach one time and Halloween Havoc never actually happening on Halloween.

Heh, I suppose. But all the names so far have been along the same theme.. this one is different.
I'm sure you're right about the video game.

Thought the show was the weakest of the 4 PPVs by a lot. I know there'll be a lot of people who liked the 30 minute melodrama that was Bucks vs. Hangman and Omega but that style of wrestling just isn't for me. Darby/Guevara was great, Cody/MJF was a damn good start to the feud. Kris Statlander is a terrible worker and needed another year or two of training before ever being put on TV or PPV.

Really surprised they took the belt off JERICHO so quick. Maybe it's the old schooler in me to have longer title reigns?
I would have had all the interference be too much. Build up Jericho and the title a bit and have Cody be the one to take it off him after a year or so.
That cody tattoo though ... man, maybe I am old. face and neck tattoos shouldn't be on the face of your company.

I don't mind neck tats, but that one is poorly done. Not too mention, a neck tat looks bad on someone that doesn't have a lot of visible tats to begin with.

That neck tattoo is heinous. So big and gaudy. More and more, Cody is striking me as a try-hard.
