Overall a very good show, but that neck tattoo is enough to make me think I've been a little too harsh in the Legends Ladies thread about Fabulous Moolah, because that neck tattoo might be the worst atrocity ever committed by a wrestler.

It is great to see that Jon Moxley will apparently be the champion in his home of Las Vegas when Double or Nothing takes place here in May.

Thought the show was the weakest of the 4 PPVs by a lot. I know there'll be a lot of people who liked the 30 minute melodrama that was Bucks vs. Hangman and Omega but that style of wrestling just isn't for me. Darby/Guevara was great, Cody/MJF was a damn good start to the feud. Kris Statlander is a terrible worker and needed another year or two of training before ever being put on TV or PPV. Interestingly you are the only person I have heard that from. Most people I saw said this was the best of the 4. This is the only one I watched live so far. I absolutely loved it. The tag title match was one of the best tag match stories I have seen in a long time. Really enjoyed Sammy vs. Darby and Orange vs. PAC. The jericho vs. Mox match was a bit slow at the end, but I'm OK with the title change. The Cody vs Max match was good, but that tattoo was very distracting. Been a long time since I paid $50 for a PPV, but was happy to do so here. Was a great build to it and the event felt like something special.

I agree w TM. Tag match was easily one of the best (if not) I’ve ever seen. So much story. Just beautiful to watch unfold. Darby / Sammy was awesome! They both looked outstanding. Kris Statlander doesn’t seem ready for the top spot the more I see her. Nyla’s title may be safe for awhile. Cody/ MJF was really good too. Cody may be incapable of having a bad match tho. I had a feeling MJF was gonna win. I think MJF winning was a good move. Hager v Dustin looked like Swagger v Goldust. Ok PAC vs Orange Cassidy was GREAT! The crowd was on fire, and PAC was the perfect foil for OC. Such opposites. So much fun! Lucha Bros interference probably wasn’t necessary as PAC should be expected to be able to go over OC clean. Small complaint tho. Main Event was ehh, to me. Cool see Mox win, but I too like the long title runs (& CJ has been money as Champ - passable in ring). I’ve bought all the PPVs so far, and couldn’t tell you which one I like the most, but this had some stuff that I loved. $50 well spent It did feel special.

I thought the overall show was great! The Young Bucks Tag match was one of the greatest tag matches in awhile, but what I thought even better, was no "finish" to the story line. The Hangman "which direction will he go" still lingers on into the next few weeks. Jericho/Mox can go on forever. Would love to see the rematch in Vegas! Pretty much all the main story lines will continue as nothing was really resolved. MJF is just awesome in that heel role.

That tattoo is so bad... The placement, execution... all of it.

Even on the shoulder it's still not a great tattoo ... his career over?

Been a long time since I paid $50 for a PPV, but was happy to do so here. Was a great build to it and the event felt like something special. The Bucks/Hangman and Kenny match was basically almost beat-for-beat the same match as Bucks vs. Golden Lovers two years ago which people swore was an all-time great tag match...and nobody has said a word about it since 2018. There was good action but when Kenny and the Bucks get into the overacting bullshit, it ruins matches. It's one of the worst aspects of Shawn and Hunter influencing the current crop of guys. OC/PAC was good, PAC rules. Moxley/Jericho went on at like 10:45 and I had one hour of sleep in the previous 24 hours and all I really remember is Jericho's entrance (which was great) and Moxley winning and his post-match promo. I don't remember anythin else about the match but would believe it was good. It wasn't a bad show, but it wasn't nearly as good as Full Gear and certainly not as good as Double or Nothing. You could make an argument it was better than All Out, especially if you liked this tag title match more than the Bucks/Lucha Bros ladder match (which I would probably say I did). Either way, I'm excited for Blood and Guts. It'll be nice to see a War Games style match put together by people who actually understand what that match is supposed to be about.

Sadly didn't see it . For some reason ITV in UK has STOPPED showing AEW PPV . Great news that Moxley won belt and shame Kris Statlander didn't (though didn't expect it) . Must agree that new Cody neck tattoo did look bad .

Kinda bummed to be missing Blood and Guts live. They are finally in the New York area, but I have other commitments. Being a Cubmaster with Cub Scout meetings on Wednesdays certainly has put a wrench in my AEW attendance plans more than once.
