I think what I am going to do going forward is do a YEAR IN REVIEW as I am still trying to catch up and am having a lot of fun doing it when I can find time.
Some news & notes as I heard toward card 40 (50 a year) - Thantos always seems to find a way to beat Star Warrior and has kept the title away from all comers. Wolf though seems to be close and they have a date inside a steel cage. - Funny note Omega prolly has three matches left in the year and might be the first person to go "Cleveland Browns" for the year not winning a single match. - Brute & Massacre on the other hand have never lost period. Yeah you are reading that right and I am just as shocked as you are lol. Every time Brute and Massacre have stepped into the ring they have won including survivor series matches!! Its so unprecedented I had to give Massacre a singles push and he could be the first ever IP and Tag champion at the same time in this reboot.
Overall I've had a blast in "2087" (its 2080 for me), a lot of very close matches. The Mutant and Ghengis Khan have seemed a bit stronger this time around while Vanity and Queen seemed to have dipped off. The Royal Court is DESPERATE for a new leader (oh do we know who that could be at the end of the year wink wink).

I dont even know how to react right now ... year end SUDDEN DEATH tournament came down to basically three #16 seeds making the final four of March Madness. Beast Rider, Omega, Vanity and Sin made it to the final four. Three of which TOTAL had less than four wins all year.
Omega shocks the Galaxian with the help of his son to be the last man standing at the end of 2087 winning the tournament. I have to say, I have NEVER had anything like this happen lol.

LEGENDS OF AVALON WRESTLING - YEAR 2080 (edition 2087), YEAR IN REVIEW Greetings everyone and welcome to the first ever year in review! Kind of a snowy and cold Saturday here in Western NY, got some dungeons and dragons lined up today with the wife but wanted to post my thoughts and review of my first year in the CHAMPIONS ERA for everyone. I apologize I don't do as cool write ups as everyone but a lot of it is in my head and I play at weird times to get things done. ANYWAY, on to the review!!!
LAW GALAXIAN WOMENS TITLE & WOMENS DIVISION So I had to throw together a womens division since womens wrestling doesnt really kick off until Amazonia arrives so what I did was take a bunch of ladies from various spots (Im not delving into CPC or ACE but will still buy the sets when I can to make use of the talent. Most of ACE and any other cards I can't fit into the LEGENDS or CHAMPIONS era's will be held back and utilized in what I am calling the RUINS ERA which will take place in the year 2300 after an Intergalactic war and your run of the mill apocalypse).
To make up the division I brought in Ms. Liberty early as Commander Sam's daughter to do battle with Krakan's daughter Sniper. Then I wanted to use Tessa Blanchard but in my Legends timeline it might not have worked out so I brought her in here as Tully's grand daughter instead. Rounding out the roster were Desdemona, Rhiannon, Willow, MsChif and Hunger. Willow entered the fed with the mysterious Doctor Barnabas who really didn't do much till the final segment of the year when the Ani Men became appearing at Willow's matches with the doctor. MsChif I brought in as an Aethran cause you gotta represent. Hunger was the oddball to an extent and I already have had her setting up Blazing Skull and Anarchy far far far down the road.
The roster set Tessa went out and quickly grabbed the belt in a tournament and much like Thantos who I have her paired with found ways to hold onto the title. She had a crazy feud with Hunger early on before moving on to Rhiannon half way through the year. Tessa dominated most of the year until Hunger re-entered the picture and finally got the belt off her. Having played two years in the LEGENDS era and one in CHAMPIONS, Tessa set the bar for the longest title run in known federation history. The one womens special event, the Queen of Hearts tournament at LUCK OF THE DRAW, it was MsChif who won and got an automatic title shot at the next PPV. MsChif though obviously couldn't top the champ. LAW WOMENS WRESTLER OF THE YEAR: Tessa Blanchard
LAW GALAXIAN TAG TEAM TITLE & TAG DIVISION The tag division was made up of Brute & Massacre, Actagon & Proteus, Parsec & Tantalis, Blacklash & Bullwhip, Beast Rider & Renegade, Exo King & Killer Queen, Morpheus & Pulsar and Salvation & Sin. Now I remember in the previous two incarnations I had done the Gladiators were tough but this was crazy. Brute & Massacre DESTROYED the division this year not even losing a match until the final quarter of the year. The ended the year with ONE loss and the tag titles. I think I have commented before that I have NEVER had anyone hold a title an entire federation year and in this reboot with the rule change I have THREE already!! Actagon & Proteus managed to win the one tag team event I hold (i think the board helped me on), the CHAMPIONSHIP DEVASTATION TAG TEAM GAUNLET but then were demolished in their title shot. LAW TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR: Brute & Massacre
LAW INTERPLANETARY TITLE DIVISION So in an experiment I set the bar for this division a little lower due to the lower roster population. Not sure how that would work out seeing Ghengis Khan upset his way to the title and then actually holding on to the title for a bit. I think the idea worked out well since I got a lot more out of the Mutant, the Executioner, Death Knight and Khan then I ever had expected. The early Khan/Executioner fed was fun. Khan though did get caught about a third of the way through the year after Comrade Terror had a losing streak early on and he wrestled the title away from Khan. The Terror/Khan feud somehow became interesting as Khan was a lot tougher than I remembered. Terror managed to play keep away from Khan/Killer Queen and Commander Sam for about a third of the year until he dropped the strap to Massacre. Massacre was surprised and almost lost the title in a feud with the Mutant but he managed to end the year with the title.
LAW GALAXIAN TITLE DIVISION Came in running the angle where Thantos was always overlooked in POW by Omega and to an extent Morpheus and was never given a singles push. Always tagging with Star Warrior and falling short of actually winning the tag titles and he blamed Star Warrior for that. Star Warrior came in having always fallen short of the POW tag team and interplanetary titles. Wolf came in ... well Wolf came in wanting to fight everyone since his mentor Santon was banned from competition for what he did to Thantos. Thantos won the first impossible tournament to become the champ and became kind of a Bret Hart type setting the record for most title defenses in a year and in a reign and he CURRENTLY STILL HAS THE TITLE!!! The first half of the year he played keep away from Star Warrior who could not get a big win when needed before moving on to Wolf who somehow didnt get the belt off him in a couple REAL close calls.
Massif won the first ever MegaTournament and in a brief feud with Thantos failed to capture the title, he managed to come back at the end of the year to briefly feud with Thantos again only to fall short a second time. Lord Nexus and Krakan continued their war in always entertaining boughts that I think Lord Nexus won in the end. Comrade Terror/Commander Sam feud was fun with more an even split. One of my favorite things of the year was when Torin Caelum won three matches in a row after doing the OUT OF THE RING chart roll where he grabs the chair and hits you with it. Caelum proclaimed himself the "chairman of the board" and targeted evil doers in the fed with a taste of their own medicine. This culminated in a classic cage match with Krakan that saw Krakan take down the chairman.
The year ended with the annual DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR eight stable survivor series tournament. In a crazy turn of events the final four was, Omega vs Pit Viper & Bullwhip and Beast Rider & Renegade vs Vanity & Sin. The Greek Gods gave a big assist to Omega in returning to the ring to attack Dorado Sundown and getting Bullwhip counted out and then Omega surprised Pit Viper. Sin and Renegade got double disqualified before Beast Rider defeated Vanity setting up the most unexpected finale ever of Omega vs Beast Rider!!! Omega won the tournament with help from Star Warrior who took out Renegade at ringside and then kind of sort of maybe interfering in the match (wonder what this sets up since Omega hadnt seen the interference till later and Star Warrior interfering in a match what does that mean!?!?!?) LAW SINGLES WRESTLER OF THE YEAR: Thantos LAW WRESTLER OF THE YEAR: In a surprise vote, the board members saw only one name that dominated the LAW landscape ... MASSACRE!!!

EARLY 2088 notes - playing off current events sort of, Fata Morgana entered the womens division replacing Desdemona and brutally 'pearl harboring' Tessa Blanchard before a match. Morgana claims she was supposed to get the spot Tessa got but at a indy house show before LAW started Tessa shattered her face (hence her debut with a mask). Blanchard/Morgana should be a hot start to the year for those two!
- I think I'm going to start the year with omega going after Massacre and the IP title only for Star Warrior to get involved. See if Star can grab the IP title.
- leaning toward Thantos/Massif to start the year and see where it goes. I'd like to see Lord Nexus possibly get a program with the champ as well.
- tag, got two new teams to throw at Gladiators, cant wait for their first war with andromeda!

HEADING INTO A MEGATOURNAMENT FRIDAY (or if I can find time sooner since I AM PUMPED FOR whats coming my way)
- Omega started the year in a feud with Massacre but after a resounding defeat Massacre threatened to finish the legend once and for all until the arrival of Star Warrior!!! Now it will be Massacre vs Star Warrior, Interplanetary title on the line! Will SW finally break through and win a big time match and win his first gold in LAW?
- To make matters worse, Massacre was off his game and Exo King & Killer Queen upset them and have earned a tag title shot! Can Massacre keep three people in check and both his titles??
- Entering the fed, Spike took on the giant Massif and crushed him. The odds fell in his favor and for the first time ever (in this reboot), SPIKE VS THANTOS!! Thantos is emerging from a brief feud with Lord Nexus and to be honest I don't know how he still has the title but he does. Thantos always seems to find ways to win but can he overcome this newcomer trained by the man that nearly ended his career!?1?1?!?!?
- Fata Morgana has entered the federation with a vengeance and looks to dismantle Tessa Blanchard's face like she claims she did to her. Morgana is winning the feud and looks to make Tessa publicly declare her fault and her errors in a special version of the I QUIT match!
- AND THEN WE HAVE THE 32 MAN MEGATOURNAMENT! Who will win and will they keep the diamond ring or will they decline it for a Galaxian title shot at Civil War
IS IT FRIDAY YET? -

Tomorrow afternoon ... Civil War 2088
The Galaxian Champion. The Megatournament winner. Their second encounter of the year. Two out of three falls.
THANTOS/NEXUS II.
Who do you got? Thantos is a win away from setting the title length record. Nexus has never won the big one in any of my feds.
