It’s the good bet, he’s been a dominant champion and heel over the first year of the LAW CHAMPIONS era. I’d really like to see Nexus break through since Warrior keeps falling. Fed kind of needing a big face to step up. The dice are funny things but I feel if Nexus was going to win he picked the right kind of match for it.

NEXUS!!! NEXUS!!! In an instant classic and perhaps my longest dice count since rebooting, we have a NEW CHAMPION!!!
Thantos won the first fall with a MASTERLOCK, Nexus took the second with TITAN DROP and after a crazy BRAWL outside the ring (I had to have rolled four times in a row), Nexus got back into the ring and caught Thantos with another TITAN DROP!!
This is legit Lord Nexus' first top title run in all of my feds since 1990.

Wow, how different this year is turning out to be. 2088 has seen the Gamemasters and Royal Court imploding sort of.
- Fata Morgana has brutalized the division just mauling Tessa. Morgana the same night she took the title from Sniper met Tessa for a third time this year and left her broken and bloody in the ring holding out for a referee stoppage to stop the assault at the Queen of Hearts tournament finale.
- Thantos hasnt won since dropping the title to Nexus including FINALLY losing to Warrior. Nexus has held strong but his new court ally Bishop Hell has been a thorn in his side. Hell intervened in a match with Wolf, Nexus though refused to win that way and let Wolf recover before the match continued. Nexus would win the match but Wolf has been fuming ever since. At the last PPV, Nexus lost clean to Star Warrior. Star Warrior now the new #1 contender fought Nexus for the title, Hell was going to interfere but was intercepted by Wolf who then went to hit Nexus with a chair but hit Warrior instead causing him to lose by DQ.
Next PPV, it's Wolf vs Star Warrior winner fights Nexus for title in main event. WARRIOR and Wolf are both looking for their first title reign! It's been a long slow build as WARRIOR has been trying to prove himself and hes finally gotten some huge wins this year.
Funny how dice have rolled in 2088! Will post my year in review which may include a very shocking event revelation that takes place on HALLOWEEN 2088.

The history of triple threat matches continue, I have yet to have a bad one!
Lord Nexus (c) vs Star Warrior vs Wolf
During the match the ref goes down and I roll 12!?!?!? And obviously like always Star Warrior scored a pinfall and no ref. Wolf enters and savage face claws Star Warrior no ref. Nexus comes back hits TITAN DROP a couple moves after the ref comes to and retains the title.
Love the fact I was a little iffy on Nexus after he finally grabbed the gold but hes had a respectable run with oh look his supposed best friend right here as the #1 contender. Nexus vs Hell next and that will prolly be the end of Nexus as part of the court. As Nexus will kickstart the Titans two years later than original and as they head into 2089.
(Special note I like how my dice know Hells future. Hell somehow keeps running into Pulsar. He fought him at MT and eliminated him in a battle royal. Nice foreshadowing fate and dice)

Three monumental title matches heading into the Championship Devastation PPV!!
LAW GALAXIAN TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Brute & Massacre have finally chased down King & Queen who took the titles from them earlier in the year. Massacre at this moment is the longest reigning title holder in the federation history can ge regain the tag titles? Gamblers have a large large amount of money riding on them but King & Queen are used to being the underdogs despite holding the gold.
LAW INTERPLANETARY TITLE HELL IN A CELL MATCH Terror had an amazing run with the IP title in 2087, Krakan has had an amazing run with the IP title here in 2088! Can Terror reclaim the prize or does Krakan hold on and perhaps surpass Massacres record IP title run? Either way we either have our first two time IP champ or we have the bar set for longest IP reign!
LAW GALAXIAN TITLE MATCH It's funny how this titles story is about people finally climbing the mountain. Thantos had to get it to show Omega he was wasted in POW. Nexus grabbed it after never winning the top prize. Now we have Star Warrior who has caught fire this year and been chasing Nexus. Warrior was able to take down Wolf and finally beat Thantos. Now hes got his shot, in a battle of heroes, who's desire will let them walk out the LAW GALAXIAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!

HUGE LATE BREAKING NEWS (this event takes place Halloween weekend 2088, the weekend before the second to last supercard of the year, SUDDEN DEATH) - so I had been working on this for the most of the year as I play it out, its a pretty big event in my federation history as there are a lot of things referenced in this event. There is a bunch of game elements that I wanted to incorporate and explain in this reality and are talked about here. A lot of things foreshadowing or setting up events happening in the future of this reality. I have always approached this game similiar to how Marvel comics approaches their universe, meaning I take Tom's federation and what happens there is kind of one reality and mine is a different version of that reality. In this reality, there's a lot of things that happen the same but also some things that happen but slightly different. I hope to do more of these events when I feel the need to happen to set up future events. Hope you catch all the references!
THE ATLANTA OMNI/AVALON CHRONICLE EVENT
As a special event weekend to close out national breast cancer awareness month, the national newspaper the Avalon Chronicle teamed up with both the Legends of Avalon Wrestling Federation and the Legends of Avalon Gravityball League to host the first ever LEGENDS CON WEEKEND!! Both leagues would come together to celebrate the fans with special events set up to raise money for breast cancer awareness. Things would get things kicked off Friday night with various skill challenges testing the stars of both leagues, the LAG & the LAW. Saturday would have various booths set up for fans to meet and greet their favorite stars of the Legends brands as well as for them to try their hand at some of the skill challenges and various other activities. Saturday night would debut a special new event powered by Kronos technology that would be able to feature wrestling stars from the past, present and even the future for the first time ever! Sunday would close out the weekend featuring the epic star studded showdown between the gravity ball all stars of the Atlantic and Pacific conferences, the first ever LAG ALL-STAR GAME!!!
This first event was hosted by the city of Atlanta, Georgia and the newly renovated Omni arena. LEGENDS CON kicked off very well as fans loved the Friday Night Skills challenge which saw the LAW narrowly defeat the LAG with Massif powering his way to winning the deciding skills challenge. The next day was a lot of fun for fans who got to meet their favorite superstars, step into the actual squared circle and even call some classic LAW matches and LAG moments. Then as the sun set, fans gathered under the stars for a great fall night of professional wrestling. As everyone settled into their seats, Lord Nexus came out to get the event going. The crowd had a kind of strange anticipation not really expecting this be as cool as advertised but then popped as the theme of Mr. Perfect hit. To their shock Hennig emerged from the entry way. He didn’t look like a hologram or being played by an impersonator. The fans cheered, this technology had delivered and they would be able to see legends from different eras do battle! Just as things were about to kick off, the bell rang and it gave off a strange echo. In the sky above there was a strange shooting star like effect that happened and a strange overcast rolled in. It was strange but nothing that the event’s organizers thought should cancel the event.
At the conclusion of the event, the Kronos employees shut off their tech and some strange things were notated. Nothing like this had happened in previous attempts to use the technology but medical personnel checked over people effected and determined there were no long term effects or any injury had taken place.
- Most of the people that witnessed the matches, remember going to the event and the match ups but when the tech was turned off they lost any memory of the event and what happened during the matches. Some experiments were done with the tech and it seems that if someone is within the tech area they remember the matches and what happened but the memory seemed to go away when the tech is turned off.
- Some of the people involved in the event seem to have strange memories or dreams as a result of the event. One in particular, Lord Nexus, claims to be having re-occuring dreams of a Dystopian future where he along with a descendant of Magnus Colby organize a future era of LAW. The doctors are treating him but not sure what to do with this “future shock” he claims to have.
- Claims by many individuals suffering from unique effects for having attended, one such claim is by event organizer and Avalon Chronicle employee, Savannah Steele. Savannah claims her young son was with her in the audience and ever since the event has fits of anger that seemingly come out of nowhere and it’s almost like he’s two different people.
- The LAW superstar Hunger and a couple other people seem to have gone missing without a trace …
- There are about a dozen people who seem to have some sort of strange hallucination while looking at galaxy maps. They claim the maps are wrong and missing a system called Castilex and don’t know why everyone else doesn’t see it. All but one of those that suffer this delusion have committed suicide or been hospitalized indefinitely.
- While driving by the event, famed doctor and scientist, Doctor Tuho Sayer was nearly killed in a head on collision right outside the arena. The accident left him paralyzed and professing the coming doom from Castilex. The doctors were surprised as his “doomsaying” seems to have subsided since the visit of an unknown individual. Nurses say he denies any friends coming to visit him but will occasionally be heard talking to himself. Mutterings of a schematics of some machine and only the strong survive.
In the end, after a government investigation the Kronos Technology company was found not to be in fault of this fluke natural occurrence and that they could continue holding these events. A lot of money was raised for Breast Cancer awareness and stock in Kronos Tech skyrocketed. Fans seemed willing to pay the price of being able to see legends of one era fight another even if they lost the memory of it outside of the event. People worldwide though still seemed a little concerned by the event and would tell people never forget … #omnichron event

LEGENDS OF AVALON WRESTLING - YEAR 2088, YEAR IN REVIEW
So I may or may not have taken the day off to watch NWA POWER and finish out 2088. It was kind of a strange year but here is the year in review ...
LAW GALAXIAN LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE IN 2088 - The year began with Hunger dropping the title to Sniper who had a decent reign with the title before dropping the gold to the surging Fata Morgana. Morgana came in on a revenge tour demolishing Blanchard who she claims cost her her spot. Morgana held the title for a good part of the year and even won the queen of the hearts tournament. Sniper was able to steal back the title at the end of the year and finish out 2088 with the title. After a close vote, fans determined FATA MORGANA was the womens wrestler of the year.
LAW INTERPLANETARY CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE IN 2088 - Massacre entered the year as the IP champion but dropped the title to Krakan who went on a long dominant reign destroying all comers. The final house show of the year saw Massif become the #1 contender and the final show of the year Massif finally dethroned Krakan and became the champion!
LAW GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE IN 2088 - In what came as no surprised, Brute & Massacre dominated most of the year, they did finally drop the titles to King & Queen only to regain them and still have them as the year closed. Blacklash & Bullwhip though have pressed hard nearly winning the titles multiple times. Despite that Brute & Massacre easily won tag team of the year.
LAW GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH - The year started with Thantos and Nexus having some great matches, but it took Nexus winning MegaTournament to get his title match and to capture the title. Nexus had a decent run with the title including somehow surviving a triple threat match before dropping the title to Star Warrior. SW had failed in numerous runs to grab the top prize but was finally able to do so here. He was able to keep it away from Wolf, but Thantos snuck in in the final card of the year to regain the title. Fan voting gave LORD NEXUS the wrestler of the year award.
2088 was a strange year, it felt like the dice turned on some wrestlers like Thantos but seemed to love Krakan and Nexus. Krakan starts off the year going for the Galaxian title and Wolf going after the IP title. The tag ranks will see some shake ups after certain elements fall into place, like Massif and Spike eventually finding their ways into tag team action depending on title defenses. Not sure what I expect in 2089 as a lot of pieces in motion and I have no idea what to expect from the dice.

It seems like every year the match of the year candidate ends up being a triple threat match ...
At the LUCK OF THE DRAW Supercard, the Queen of Hearts tournament (King of the Ring but for the ladies and winner either gets a jeweled encrusted scepter or turn it for the title shot at Sudden Death), during the tournament Fata Morgana defeated Sniper to win back the title. In the main event we got Fata vs Tessa Blanchard which has been a huge rivalry for me. Now the luck of the draw show all matches are “luck of the draw” special matches. This match Fata drew he’ll in a cell for there match. The match was a crazy brutal match which in the end saw Tessa throw Fata off the cage and the match had to be stopped. Tessa was crowned the winner but Fata was injured pretty bad and had to vacate the title.
So I made the decision instead of another battle royal, let’s do a triple threat. Tessa won the queen of hearts and is entitled to a title shot. Sniper was the champion and Ms Liberty was the #1 contender. I decided let’s throw all three into a match winner takes the title. Man ... was that the right decision ... so many brawls and since it was no DQ at points the ladies brawled into the crowd and all over the arena. So many close calls but out of nowhere little miss finds a way to win and keep titles, Sniper nabbed her third title reign over Tessa who will still keep looking for her second reign and Liberty looking for her first.

Big day today, hoping to finish 2089 today. Have two chapters left (8 cards). Trying something a little new with final chapter of the year to kind of mimic pro sports.
The final four Saturday night showdowns become Sudden Death showdowns with each show being an impossible tournament between the top 4 superstars in each title division. The winner earns a match with that champion in a sudden death rules match. Champion wins the match by any means the match is over. Challenger wins, a second fall will occur with the title on the line!
I really wanted to rework the final chapter of my LAW year to add some drama. This does this as the ninth chapter really heats up because each match now becomes so important because if you dont finish top four in your division your year ends right then and there. For example right now in the Galaxian title division ... Wolf, Sam and Bounty Hunter are all tied for third in the Galaxian division. All our facing different opponents, a loss will take them out of their tournament!
I'll post more as it happens since I intend to finish the final two chapters of the year today!
