Saw the movie twice on the cruise this weekend. One late showing in 3d and again the next night with my son. I like seeing each twice since I can watch the first uninterrupted and the 2nd I can explain everything going on as I am interrupted by questions every 2 minutes.
It was ok, but wasn't as into it as Force Awakens. A few parts were confusing to me. Perhaps I was just spoiled by how good the Mandalorian has been, that my expectations were up.

I will be going to see this NEXT Friday!
I am pretty sure I will really like it, as the only SW movie that I hated was Rogue One. The Solo solo movie was really good, even though I was never a Solo fan, and I thought the Prequels were a bit above average. The original Trilogy is my fave, having seen all three of those in the theaters when they first came out!
So yeah, I will give my review afterward, and until then:
May the Force be with You, always!

Enjoyed it a lot! Not the best SW movie, but in my top four! It was funny the way Captain Marvel was, so that was really good and unexpected. Not sure why the critics didn't like it as it was certainly better than the Prequels, and Solo. I'm sure Siskel & Ebert both would've given it Thumbs Up! I had only glanced at something online about Hayden Christensen wanting to make a cameo, as well as Ewan McGregor. Kind of wondered if they were in the movie, but I guess not!
I did enjoy the Palpatine story plot twist and thought that was great, I'm sure Lucas didn't have that in HIS vision of what should happen in the final movie!
I'm just wondering why the "surprise" cameos in both Last Jedi and Solo were in those movies if they weren't going to be a part of THIS movie? So yeah... I wonder what the NEXT great movie series is going to be? Maybe something about "Code Enforcers" and Gladiators of Aethra?
