I was talking to a friend a few weeks ago, it would be interesting to see what Kevin Fegie could do with the Star War Universe. I just plan on seeing it but I just go to be entertained and don't tell to put much thought it the movies to much.

Had a blast watching this today! Lots of fun. Fitting end to the series. Two critiques which I'll spoiler mark... - They should of left Carrie Fisher out of it. She would have been much better served with an off screen death rather than the shoehorned in recycled appearance here. - This kiss between Rey and 'Ben' was way out of place and unnecessary.

Saw it today, enjoyed it a lot. I don't know what "critics" are looking for in a Star Wars movie, they have never been critically acclaimed, so why would this one be?
Bit of a spoiler...It was a solid tie up of the Skywalker saga. Some old stuff, some new, and some comedy and left the future open for the Force and the Jedi to continue.

I liked it a lot. I agree with Pete, these aren't cinematic masterpieces. They're fun movies that remind me of being a kid.

Saw it on Thursday night.
We had acquired our tickets back before Halloween, actually.
Not the world's best movie but it's Star Wars so I had to see it in theaters, as I have seen every other one in theaters so I can't rightly miss this one.
It could have been way worse.
I mean, I have some critiques but... in the end it wasn't that bad.

I had fun watching the movie. I've been critical of the sequel trilogy in the past, decided to let go of my hatred and was glad I did. I would see it again.

I first saw this movie when it opened last Thursday to avoid potential spoilers at work the next day and I saw it again today here in Portugal where I am staying until I return to Las Vegas at the end of this upcoming weekend.
In Portugal today the movie was played in English with Portuguese subtitles and they had a 5-10 minute Intermission which is typical for movies in Europe (I sort of wish movies in the US also had a brief Intermission, especially for longer movies over 2 hours, as it gives you a chance to go to the bathroom or get a drink without missing part of the movie.)
Overall I liked the movie alot. Of the 11 Star Wars movies, I might rank it about 7th or so but it was fun to see and makes me look forward to the next Star Wars movie (in 2022 I think?) I give it a B+.
{On a side note about watching Star Wars in Portugal. At first I thought I would not be able to see the 8th and final episode of The Mandalorian when it gets released this Friday as Disney + has not started in Europe yet. However, while I can not get Disney + on my labtop here, I can still get it on my phone so I am planning on watching the final episode of The Mandalorian on Friday- looking forward to seeing how the series ends and hopefully the mysterious figure who showed up at the end of Episode 6 will be revealed. If it is who I think it is then I am wearing one of his shirts at the moment.}
