I'm not a fan of intergender wrestling other than for comedic, super-heroic (Chikara type) or very special occasions (Chyna). I know wrestling is fake but it has always attempted to appear real. Like most dramas on TV or in theaters, the stories and characters are based in a world that is a slightly exaggerated version of the world we live in. In the real world we have seen SO many examples of what happens when trained men face trained women in sports. It's very, very rare that the women come out on the winning end of that.
I don't dislike Tessa Blanchard but her run as the main protagonist against Sami Callihan has been a big reason as to why I have tuned out of Impact. OVE have become completely stale to me. I don't know how you have a guy like Brian Cage or Michael Elgin on your roster and you're pushing Callihan as the face of the company. For a long time the general feeling about Impact has been that they have a great roster but the booking was usually crap. Now I'm not even really excited about the roster, though they definitely have some great talent.
As for all of the stuff surrounding Tessa Blanchard... It seems that there are enough witnesses to some events to lend credence to them. I'm not so quick to label someone a racist for using a racist word. Right or wrong, some people grow up in areas where certain words are thrown around without much weight behind them. Also, people say crap they don't mean or wish they could take back. Blah, blah, blah... I'm not trying to defend her, I just hate how quickly society "cancels" people. Maybe Tessa is a horrible human being... Or maybe she's a normal human being with normal emotions, etc. Maybe she was insecure and tore others down to make herself feel better or whatever... She wouldn't be the first person to ever do that. I'm sure there are LOADS of examples of bullying and racism from many of our favorite wrestlers. Everyone should have a chance to apologize, change and make things right.

I agree , I am NOT a fan of intergender matches . Is Tessa really Impact's Becky Lynch ? Tessa went one more step than Becky did .
