It's 2023. Trillionaire Jeff Bezos calls for a press conference. Everyone is expecting him to announce that he will be running for president of the United States. But in a shocking moment, after years of trying to buy the World Wrestling Entertainment and All Elite Wrestling, Bezos announces he will start his own wrestling promotion. Bezos promises to APW will produce the best wrestling in the world on a weekly bases airing live on Amazon Prime and free for all Amazon Prime subscribers. Next Jeff Bezos announces the Vice-President of APW....Dwayne The Rock Johnson!
VP Johnson announces that the weekly show will be called Prime Time Wrestling. 3 championships are already announced. Prime Heavyweight Championship, Prime Women's Championship and Prime Tag Team Championship. So far we have signed wrestlers like Mr Perfect Curt Henning, Macho Man Randy Savage, Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase and Superfly Jimmy Snuka. Tag Teams like the Road Warriors, Midnight Express and Rock N Roll Express. Women superstars such as Sherri Martel and Tina Moretti. Johnson announces that he will announce the General Manager on the 1st episode of Prime Time Wrestling.

Prime Time Wrestling #1 01.07.2023 from Washington DC
The show begins with APW VP Dwayne the Rock Johnson walking to the ring. The crowd is electric for the first APW event ever. The Rock yells out "Finally the Rock has returned to Washington DC!" After some of hyping the crowd The Rock gets to what he came for. To announce the General Manager of Prime Time Wrestling. "Please holla holla holla and welcome your Prime Time Wrestling General Manager....Teddy Long!"
Teddy Long walks to the ring to a mixed reaction. He promises with the the leadership of the Rock and the talent they have in APW, PTW will be much see tv and will raise the bar of wrestling shows. "Holla if ya hear me!" Long announces that tonight the tournaments to crown the Prime Heavyweight, Prime Womens and Prime Tag Team Championships begin. We go to commercial as Mr Perfect Curt Hennig enters the ring....
Back from commercial we see The Rock and Teddy Long talking backstage. The Rock reminds Long that a lot is riding on him and he knows how Amazon runs business. They will not accept failure. The Rock encourages Long and tells him he will give him all the tools he needs to succeed. "You know my number Teddy. Anytime you need me I'm a phone call away."
We go ringside to our commentators, Todd Grisham, Mike Tenay and Bobby Heenan.
We go to the ring with ring announcer Christy Hemme, to introduce the wrestlers for our next match.

Bobby Heenan states he will be watching this match ringside as he has interests in the 2 wrestlers in the ring and filling in for him for this match is his good friend Jim Cornette. Cornette comes to the ring as boos fill the arena. Cornette puts on the headset as we go to the ring...

During the match JJ Dillon also came ringside and grabbed a chair and saw the action first hand. As we go to commercials the Grisham and Tenay wonder what Heenan and Dillon are up to. Cornette chimes in that obviously both managers are looking for the best talent to begin stables with. They ask Cornette if he is starting a stable as well and Cornette states he is 2 steps ahead of everyone.
Back from commercials we go backstage where Redd Dogg and Jazz enter the locker room where D'Lo Brown and 2 Cold Scorpio are talking. Brown and Scorpio cover up at the site of Jazz who ensures them they have nothing she's never seen before. Redd Dogg tells Brown and Scorpio he didn't come for a fight and wanted a minute of their time to discuss a serious matter. All 4 wrestlers walk into the hallway and away from the cameras.
Back to the ring....

Backstage we see Diamond Dallas Page walk into GM Teddy Long's office. DDP is upset about lasts weeks lost and demands a match with Angelo Poffo. Long tells Page he can have a match in two weeks. Page says he can't wait for that long and will take matters into his own hand. Long tries to talk to DDP as he storms out the office.

Beefcake and Valentine continue to assault Smith when suddenly Dave Taylor runs to the ring with Union Jack in hand and fights off the attackers. The show ends as Taylor attends to Smith and Riddle with the Dream Team celebrate what they have done. Announcers wonder why?

Bobby Heenan is asked what was his purpose to sit ringside during last weeks match when Nick Bockwinkel defeated Larry Zbyszko. Heen stated he plans on building a stable of wrestlers and is looking for the person who will be the foundation of that group. Heenan was asked if he was concerned about JJ Dillon also coming to the ring and he was flsutered but said no because any wrestler knows he is the genius of wrestling and it would be a privilege to be under his managerial talent. We go to the ring for our first match...
- Prime Heavyweight Championship Round 1 - Stan Hansen vs. Steve Williams Steve Williams defeated Stan Hansen with a belly to belly suplex Match Notes: Stan Hansen 8 tokens Steve Williams 2 tokens
This was a slobber knocker. These 2 men hit eacg other with everything but the kitchen sink. At the conclusion of the match as Williams has his hand held up in victory Bruiser Brody appears and runs down to the ring and clobbers Williams. Hansenr recovers and joins and the beat down of Williams. The two men continue to beat Williams until Terry Gordy runs to the ring and intercedes saving Williams from more harm. Williams recovers and attempts to hit Brody and Hansen back but his held back by Gordy. We go to commercial...
When we return from commercial we go backstage where there is some commotion. Steve Williams and Terry Gody have recovered and caught up with Stan Hansen and Bruiser Brody. The four men are hitting each other with anything they can grab and continue to fight until the locker rooms are able to pull the men apart. We go back ringside for our next match...

Riddle: Everyone is asking why we attacked Davey Boy Smith last week. Well here it is. These guys here are former World Tag Team Champions and they were overlooked and not added to the tournament. I felt they needed to make a statement and why not do it against the person who ended their title reign. Smith we're going to make an example out of you. And Dave Taylor! I suggest you keep your nose out of our business or you might find yourself needing a nose job pal. They exit the ring as we go backstage with Cathy Kelley is standing by with JJ Dillon
Kelley asks JJ what his purpose was being ringside last week in the Nick Bockwinkel vs Larry Zbyszko match. Dillon states that he was once the manager of one of the greatest stables ever. And that stable was built around one man, the man. Dillon states that he is looking for a top caliber athlete to be the main man of his stable. When asked if Bobby Heenan's presence there also is a problem, Dillon states that what Heenan does is no concern to him. Any wrestler would be happy to work under Dillon. Dillon counts to four, smiles and walks away.

We go backstage where we see Redd Dogg, D'Lo Brown, 2 Cold Scorpio and Jazz looking for Teddy Long. They approach Long as ask why they are no one that looks like them in the tournament brackets. Teddy explains that the best talent was chosen for the tournaments. The team gets angry at the sound of this. "So you're saying we're not good enough?!" Long is visibly shaken. "We demand justice!" they exclaim. "Until we get justice there will be no peace!" Long tells them he'll take care of this. "I promise you all you will get your opportunity." Redd Dogg pushes Long into his chair as they exit the room.

We come back from break and Jim Cornette has joined the announce team as Bobby Heenan goes ringside. Before the match begins JJ Dillon also walked down to the ring as a angry Heenan looked on.

We go backstage to Cathy Kelley who is backstage with Diamond Dallas Page. Page is still searching for Angelo Poffo. He states that when he finally gets his hands on Poffo he will have hell to pay.

Back from break Davey Boy Smith and David Taylor enter the ring. They do a promo on the Dream Team. Smith states that even though his old partner isn't here to help, Taylor will be by his side and together they will defeat the Dream Team.

We come back from break and we hear Redd Dogg Rodney Mack on the mic. He is accompanied by Jazz, D'Lo Brown and 2 Cold Scorpio. The group all donned in black clothing walk to the ring as Mack continues to talk. He introduces every member of the team and says collectively they are known as The Movement. He states since they were not given any opportuniies they will make them. He issues a challenge to any team to wrestle 2 Cold and D'Lo. An open contract is available. Suddenly we hear some music and out come Too Much, Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay. They state that they will accept the challenge and wrestle the Movement, as the crowd cheers.

He states due to the result of the Sherri Martel/Rockin Robin match, next week we will have a triple threat match to decide the Prime Womens Championship. The remaining competitors, Trish Stratus, Davina Rose and Melina will compete to decide the champion.

We return and go backstage where something is going on. Davina Rose is laid out holding her head. She appears to have been attacked. GM Teddy Long appears and ask what happened. No one seems to know what is going on. Long asks the medcis if Rose can wrestle and they tell him there's no way she can and has to go the the hospital. Long says he has to make an announcment and heads to the ring.

We return and GM Teddy Long announces that due to the fact that Davina Rose can't wrestle. The next match will be changed from a triple threat to a one-on-one match with the winner being crowned the champion!

We begin the show with Mike Tenay and Jim Cornette. Tenay states that Todd Grisham has decide to pursue other interests. They thank Grisham for his time with APW and wish him the best. But business moves on and they introduce the new commentator, Matt Striker! Striker introduces himself and states he is excited to be a part of APW. We go ringside to our new ring announcer Gary Micheal Cappetta for the introductions to our next match.
David Taylor vs. Greg Valentine with Rock Riddle Greg Valentine defeated David Taylor with a Figure Four Leglock Match Notes: David Taylor 1 token Greg Valentine 0 tokens Riddle caused enough distractions to help Valentine pick up the win
Jim Cornette explains he is filling in for his friend Bobby Heenan who has business to attend to tonight. With that we go backstage and see Bobby Heenan talking to Nick Bockwinkel. As he sees the cameras he pulls Bockwinkel away.
Prime Womens Champion Trish Stratus and Rockin Robin vs. Sherri Martel and Melina Trish Stratus defeated Melina with a spinebuster Match Notes: simmed
Rockin Robin and Sherri Martel battle to the back leaving Melina and Trish Startus battling alone. Stratus is able to pick up the win but as she celebrated the Glamour Girls run to the ring with Rock Riddle behind them. The ladies attack Stratus. The numbers are too much for a worn Stratus to overcome. The Glamour Girls leave the ring proud of what they have done with Riddle cheering them on.
Before the next match we go backstage and see Ted Dibiase with Mr. Hughes approach Prince Daivari and the Iron Sheik. Dibiase puts his arm around Daivari and pulls him away from the camera and states they have business to talk about. What could Dibiase be up to?
As the camera pans away we see JJ DIllon in discussions with Harley Race. Will Dillon be managing Race tonight?

Daivari hits Snuka with an unknown object as Ted Dibiase distracted the official. Snuka would not respond to the officials instructions and seemed KOed, forcing the official to call for the bell.
We go backstage and now we see Bobby Heenan talking to Harley Race. Christy Hemme tries to catch up with them to get an interview but is denied. The plot thickens!
Mikey Whipwreck vs. Rodney Mack with Jazz Rodney Mack defeated Mikey Whipwreck with a Blackout Match Notes: Mikey Whipwreck 5 tokens Rodney Mack 2 tokens
At the conclusion of the match the other members of the Movement run to the ring to beat up on Whipwreck. They do some damage before the members of Too Much come to make a save. The Movement leave celebrating Macks win.
We go backstage again and now we see JJ Dillon talking to Nick Bockwinkel. Christy Hemme again attempts to get an interview but is denied once again. No one knows whats going on with these 4 people and we must assume that Heenan and Dillon are trying to recruit.
- Prime Tag Team Championship Round 2 - Fantastics vs. Rock N Roll Express Robert Gibson defeated Bobby Fulton with a sleeper Match Notes: simmed
As the Fantastics congratulate the RnR Express, the Road Warriors walk to the ramp with Paul Ellering. The men stand and stare a hole into the RnR Express. Tensions are high as these two teams will face off in two weeks for the Prime Tag Team Championship

At the conclusion of the match Bobby Heenan rushes into the ring and pushes Dillon aside. Heenan extends his hand to Harley Race but Race slaps it away and pushes Heenan to the ground. Nick Bockwinkel who is still ringside helps Heenan to his feet and they begin to walk away together. Dillon is laughing and he extends his hand to Race. Race looks at him and also slaps his hand away and pushes Dillon aside and exits the ring. Dillon is left in shock as the crowd cheers.

A badly beaten Duggan passes out from the deadly nerve hold. After the match Abdullah would not release the hold. The Patriot Del Wilkes rushes in to make the save as he gets his hands on Abdullah who makes a hasty retreat at the command of Daivari.

The distraction causes Savage to attend to Poffo and away from Williams. This allows Williams to recover for a quick roll up victory. DDP exits through the crowd as Savage gives chase but stops to attend to Poffo.

An update on Davina Rose condition was given. She is recovering quickly and should be in action soon. We're sure she will want to get her hands on Madison Rayne as soon as she is back. ---------- Harely Race was interviewed. He says that the reason he turned away Bobby Heenan and JJ Dillon is because he doesn't need a manager. He is the King of Wrestling and will prove it once he becomes Prime Champion. But he says every King needs a court ---------- Bobby Heenan is interviewed. Besides him is Nick Bockwinkel. Heenan says the best thing that couldve happened to him was Race pushing him away. He now sees that despite Bockwinkel losing he is the superior athlete and just needs Heenan's knowledge to guide him to the top. Bockwinkel says that Race will pay for what he did and he will see that Bockwinkel is the true King of Wrestling. ---------- JJ Dillon discusses what happened last week. He says he always has a back up plan. He holds two different titles. One title is the WWWF World Heavyweight belt (original version) and the other is the NWA World Heavyweight belt (crown version). He says there is one man who owns both of these titles. They are on his trophy mantle along with other belts. Dillon says that the man who possesses these has agreed to wrestle in APW and I will be the one who guides him to the top of APW. Soon you all will be in the pesence of greatness.

Before the match Poffo enters the ring and states to the crowd that he will be able to wrestle due to the fact that he wasn't medically cleared. GM Teddy Long appears and informs Poffo that he received notice that he indeed has been cleared and wrestle tonight or face a fine. Poffo was upset but suddenly Matt Striker announcers there is a commotion backstage. We go to the cameras in the back to see a fallen Diamond Dallas Page. Officials come to the aid of DDP. DDP gets on his feet and starts to go to the ring. Officials tell him he can't wrestle tonight. DDP ignores the advice of the officials and goes to the ring anyways. GM Long also attempts to stop him at the ramp but DDP wouldn't stop and the match starts as scheduled.

Veda Scott interviews Davina Rose. Rose wants a match against Madison Rayne ---------- JJ Dillon does a promo. He holds up a jacket with the words "Nature Boy" on the back. He says soon the greatest wrestler ever will debut in the APW and he will be represented by JJ Dillom ---------- So Cal Val interviews Harley Race. He states what happened to him last week travesty. He says that he sees now that he's going to have to have someone watch is back. It's time for the King's Court to assemble. He introduces the 1st member of the court...Larry the Axe Hennig. He states that the Million Dollar Man and is bodyguard will be the first to pay. His interview is interrupted by Bobby Heenan and Nick Bockwinkel, as they appear on the screen. Heenan tells Race before he gets too far not too forget that Nick Bockwinkel still has a bone to pick with him. Heenan also says he's happy Race isn't coming alone cause neither is Bockwinkel. The camera pans and we see Ray the Crippler Stevens standing next to Bockwinkel.
