If you don't want it, don't buy it. The set isn't necessarily for the regular game players but those just starting out and those who want something that celebrates the game. Just to be clear, Origins 2136 is not Tom’s Best of COTG set. Two different sets. Origins 2136 is a continuation of the current storyline and designed for existing players. Hope that clears up any confusion. |

On the Picture that clearly looks like Deimos.Do we have background information in which Year Deimos was used first?
Just one option.Origins could simply mean Back to the Roots.
Before the Bad Guys took over.Or further back before the Early Classics?
Could we get Wrestlers from 2050-2070?

As far as the separate availability of the new character card I am not sure at this point. This Best of set is all in Tom's hands at this point, so I do not have an idea about his plans for existing players, which I do agree would be the ones that would be most interested in this card and probably not the whole set. Sorry I don't have any more info. At this point I am mostly focused on the Q1 releases which will be available for presale this Friday.

I hope it's not a total reboot to the old days as many have mentioned...
Godsend has shown up twice and both times he has brought a reboot/restart with him... what is it with this guy? Cant he play with others?

Cant he play with others? Actually that's one of the thoughts I had, someone goes back in time to stop Godsend in the past kind of like Avengers Endgame. I dont think Tom would do that though. Not really sure what Godsends "Endgame" is or if Endgame can stop his endgame ... Yeah I dont want to see a reboot I kind of liked the direction the game was headed before I last stopped playing as I was big fans of Encubus and Bloodline. I think it's a hidden secret Omega had to get the GWF going again. |

Cant he play with others? Quite the contrary, I think Tom didn't want to do a total reboot. Hence doing this new separate starter set. I aksed about the ability to buy the new character card separately, and he is not sure yet. The set will have some revised art and stats and a new bootlet, so it wont be all old stuff rehashed. |

Actually new thought ... what if this is Tom's version of what WCW kind of did with Slamboree. It is the 50th thing maybe it's one big celebration year with the other set and throughout the year will kind of bring us back to the beginning where the feuds between Godsend and Endgame end at the year where everything began in deimos
