Watched the 1/19/21 episode and Impact keeps rolling. Story lines intertwining and it seems everyone has purpose and a reason. The matches are good and purposeful with no space fillers. It was sad to see Taya is leaving. Somehow I missed news of that. But how they did it was awesome. Her being behind the shooting of Bravo makes sense. Then her arrest and the guys talking about where the police were sending her. Probably Jacksonville State Pen (AEW). Maybe Stanford Maximum Security where she'd get two years with an option on a third, a real Hell (WWF). Hopefully not sent to Baltimore (ROH). For the record I think she's headed to, and I hope, AEW. Seeing Rosemary say goodbye to her felt real. Sadness character and person wise. Now I know why they decided to move Crazzy Steve back into her life. Decay should have some fun. Can't wait till Shelley comes back, if he decides to, as MCMG vs Private Party would be insane.

I got a Roku device ($30) and best money I've spent in some time. I can watch Impact on my TV again. First time I've done that in a few months. Watched episode from 1/26/21 and another great show. From the opening with Swann offering Dreamer a title shot at No Surrender, Impact plus exclusive, for all Dreamer did to everyone coming out to say why they deserve a title shot. Then seeing Rosemary being Rosemary again which is awesome. The Fire and Flava Fest was nothing special but they kept it short and used it to continue to develop characters and a feud. James Storm and Chris Sabin segment was funny and well done. I was hoping for a bigger name, maybe an AEW guy, for the mystery partner in the main event. That being said Trey was next best thing. Glad he's back with Impact and something simple as dying his hair made him fresh and seem more serious/vicious. Great things for him going forward. Last note, I know Ace Austin could excel as a single guy but for now he and Madman should stay in tag division. Aces Wild (not their actual team name but I think it should be) gives the division some much needed depth with so many teams gone or split.

Last week's episode was another good one. There seems to be a theme Impact is building over all. One of change and added aggression. I feel like it's a mix of ECW and the WWF Aggression era. They even teased a Tommy Dreamer heel turn. However I see it more of Tommy thinking Swann respects his wrestling past but not his current wrestling. That will let Tommy unleash on Swann in their title match. Some nice returns. Just hope they don't over due it. Don't need them every week. Trey is being moved to a serious wrestler and I'm all for it. Impact has some amazing young talent (Trey, Ace Austin, Chris Bey, Rahit) to build around with talented vets and guys in the middle like Moose.

Impact Plus has picked up their game. I was able to watch this weeks episode already. Damn it was great. The opening match had nice mix of vets and young talent. Willie Mack, Josh Alexander, Suicide and Trey vs Ace Austin, Chris Bey, Daivari and Blake Christian in an 8 man tag match. If you were starting a promotion with those 8 you had a nice base. Me and Vegas have talked about Blake and if Impact would sign him. I'm now sure they will. The announcers were hyping him and they were setting the foundation for feuds for him against Trey and Ace. Both of those will be so awesome. The other matches were action packed and pushed story lines along. I'm hyped for No Surrender. The fact that 12 Knockouts will be on the card in 3 matches is impressive. Oh and kudos to Tommy delivering another passionate promo at the end of this weeks show. I'm sure his match against Swann will be entertaining but I'm salivating for Moose to face Swann and finally win the Impact World title.

Watching tonight's episode of Impact while playing and posting COTG fed results.
Some of my random thoughts:
Swinger's Palace is hilarious with Fallah Bahh's gambling issues.
TJP vs Josh Alexander was a good opening match.
Looking forward to seeing Fin Juice vs the Good Brothers!

Seems silly they had a goodbye for the Rascals only for Trey Miguel to quickly re-emerge.

Seems silly they had a goodbye for the Rascals only for Trey Miguel to quickly re-emerge. I think everyone sort of figured Trey would make it to WWE, but for whatever reason didn't sign. I sort of feel WWE dropped the ball there!? 🤷

He gave an interview on it. The other two being more settled wanted the security. He also is working with a wrestling school and didn't want to give that up.

Not sure if they knew he was coming back but as usual Impact turned it into a story line. Sami insulting Trey over it sets up a feud between them and feuds with Sami usually lead to better things.

This weeks episode flew by as it was really fun. Great opening match. Only complaint was they need to work on pacing. I have been watching NJPW via Roku and they do it right. You can have a series of quick moves at a fast pace but then you need to have a short period for fans to digest what just happened. To marinate in the action they saw. The rest of the show was full of meaningful matches and segments. I think GalactiCon should be held at Swingers Palace one year. Seems like a fun place to hang out.
