Impact dumped by UK television AGAIN . Use to be on 5Star or on Freesports . Not on either from this week .

Damn that sucks. Especially with things getting better and the partnership with AEW.

Man I love the new Impact+. I got to watch yesterday's episode just a few hours after it ended on AXS. Another pretty good episode. The opening 3 man for a title shot at the X title was hot. I am going to say Ace Austin is winning the title at Sacrifice. Otherwise they should have let Black Taurus should have one. It would have been cool to see him against TJP. I was not a fan of the way the 8 man tag match was booked. They did a good job of building up friction between FinJuice and the Good Brothers but they made XXXL and Reno Scum look like scrubs. They could have been booked a bit better which would help the tag division over all. I love how they added Kiera to the main event and the ladies did an excellent job. I was expecting the pin to involve her and Grace as part of the build up to their tag match. But Deonna showed why she is the KO Champion. Swingers Palace is a nice segment as it can be done for comedy, to set up matches/feuds as it did this week or it can be both. Not to mention give air time to someone without a match or even a story line right now. Oh and I LOVE the feud between Sami and Trey that is being built. That match is going to be fire.

Oh my what a show this week. Entertaining, an amazing match between Ace Austin and Chris Bey (I hope Impact has them signed up for at least next two years. They and Trey are guys to build the company around going forward) and the big announcement at the end. If you did not hear the match this Saturday at Sacrifice between Swann and Moose is a title unification match. Not surprising to hear. Then the winner of that match will go on to the Rebellion PPV in April to face AEW Champion Kenny Omega. I want Moose to win Saturday as he deserves to finally be World Champion but a Swann/Omega match could be epic.
Some of the things I enjoy about Impact right now is their humor and how they work to keep all matches having meaning. Every thing is story line based and intertwines with past ones. Like this week Decay was talking to XXXL, who had been talking to Reno Scum, and said it is a shame they are too honorable to hit a female. Reno Scum said they had no problem and thus they have a match this Saturday. Then after Scum left Rosemary laughs and calls THEM freaks. There is the humor. Simple and funny. Like when Gia was interviewing ODB. Then ODB offered Gia a drink and Gia said "no thanks, I am working" and ODB answered "yea, me too" before taking a swig and walking off. Sometimes wrestling companies, Impact included, try too hard with their humor.

Sacrifice was really good. Great matches and went about how I expected. The one surprise was FinJuice winning the tag titles. I really wanted Moose to win. It is way overdue. But as I said in previous post Swann/Omega will probably be the better match. I just hope Moose is not leaving as has been suggested as his contract might be up soon. I want to see Moose have a dominating run with the Impact World Title and then someone beat him in a special moment.
Beyond that I was at first disappointed to see Decay in opening match but they kicked off the action. At the end of the match I was thinking since people paid Joey Ryan to grab his junk I wonder if people would pay Rosemary to spit mist into their face lol. I was not surprised by Rhino's actions. Soon as he came out I expected it. I have to feel a bit bad for James Storm. He probably looks over at VBD and thinks that is what he wanted to do with The Revolution. I was half expected a Jake heel turn as he joined VBD. I am looking forward to seeing how they build up to the main event for the Rebellion PPV.

Last nights episode was good but not special. Did a good job of furthering story lines and setting up new ones. The wrestling was good and the segments entertained but felt a bit lower than some recent past ones. Swinger's Paradise segment was funny. I wonder if on some level they are taking shots at AEW and their overall "gambling" theme. One issue I had this week was too many "dumb ref" spots. Two matches ended because the ref, Brian Hebner in both cases I think, missed the heel take a cheap shot plus in the Ace Austin/TJP match they missed Fulton getting involved. That hurt TJP as if he had been caught Fulton would have been made to go to the back thus not being able to save Ace with getting Ace DQ'd to keep the belt. It reminded me of old TNA with the incompetent ref stick. That is something they have successfully moved away from. I hope they are not slipping back into that horrible habit.
I thought I had last night is, if Omega wins the Impact Unified World title and to a lesser sense AEW seems to be taking over Impact it would be interesting if Impact's savior ended up being Eric Young and Violent By Design. It would be cool to see if the locker room embrace and support VBD. Kind of a devil you know vs one you do not scenario. Especially with it seems that Moose is gone. No sign of him the last two weeks. So he is either gone or waiting to make a special return as part of the evolution of his character.

Good show this week if for no other reason than James Storm having his 1000 match for TNA/Impact. That and the emotional speech he gave about Bob Ryder giving him and Chris Harris their shot. I'm sure Bob would have been so proud of him.
As I've said the little things are what I enjoy. Like Tommy Dreamer discussing Hardcore Justice and how the KO's will have a gauntlet match. When he mentioned weapons are allowed Rosemary got excited. Then Havoc came over to hug him and say she likes the idea leaving him looking a bit scared of her.
There was a teaser of someone or something coming to the Impact Zone. It showed the name like a Wheel of Fortune puzzle. If they show it again but with more spaces filled I will KNOW someone over there has been following my feds lol. They are copying too many of my ideas. For those that didn't see it here is the puzzle. "_ _T'_ G_ _ _ _ _D_" That's three words. The video before it looked like a bathroom of a punk rock venue.

A fun episode that just flew. The main event was hot. Looking forward to Swann/Omega and they set it up nicely here. The none wrestling highlight was Storm at Swinger's Palace telling Harris to win some "Beer Money". Such a smart and funny line. It seems Taylor Wilde is returning to Impact this month. Interesting to see what she has to offer.
