Flashback to Two Years ago

Encubus comes down the ramp to address the 32 wrestlers and 7 coaches sitting in folding chairs, in the audience.

Commissioner Encubus: I want to start off by welcoming every one of you today. You are the first of a brand-new program with the GWF, to help wrestlers develop into future stars for the company. We are starting up a new brand called FTR, with a brand-new show called Evolution. Some of you are brand new talent that we hope to develop and hone your skills, into something big. Others of you are veterans of the business and have been wrestling in the GWFz, and we need your help to give your experience to the younger guys. Exchange, we will offer you a starting contract, use of our state of the art training center, and use of our coaches. This is a partnership to that we are asking each and every one of you to take with us.

Let me, introduce to you are the coaches and staff here at the training center. Coaches, would you come up here with me? We have Omega, who will be coaching the babyfaces and how to get the cheers of the crowd. Next, we have Morpheous and Thantos, who will be coaching the heels and how to get the crowd to hate you. Prodigy will be helping those of you, who want to agility based wrestlers in the ring. While Paragon will be helping those power-based wrestlers in the ring. Grogan will be helping with his basics class for those of you new to wrestling. We have Star Warrior, who will be the promo coach, helping you to develop your promo skills in front of the crowd and behind the camera.

Let's talk about the vision I have for the tag team division! We are going to have eight tag teams. The first team is going to be called Mad Max, Electric Axe and Totally Awesome. Then, we have The Natives, Ygorr and Krud. King Tux and Chilly Fu, you are going to be called Penguins on Ice. Swerve, we are putting you with Manic. You two will be an over the top tag-team, called Villains Inc. Astro Turk, you and Blackhole Bart are going to help develop our tag team division. So, we need you to work closely with these teams and give them some of your experience. Electric Axe and Totally Awesome you two are the metalhead rockers. Murtak and Mass, you two out to rule the Galaxy in the team Conquerors of the Galaxy. We will be adding two more tag teams as we go.

We want to have sixteen wrestlers competing for the singles division. We are going to use the heroes vs. villain concept in our show. So, let's introduce our Heroes team. Blue Chip, you are our amateur wrestling champion. Faller. you are going to be our Lumberjack. Astarte, we are going to have you going up against our villain team of Disciple of Terror. Moonlight and Chameleon, you are women wrestlers here and we are going to have you fighting against the men! Mayham, you are going to dress up like Mayhem and mock the Aethrans. Powerslam, you are going to be our main interviewer and who gets himself into crazy trouble with wrestlers on his show. Billy Jo Boxer, you're the best boxer crossing over into the sport of wrestling. Galactic Punisher, you a Galactic Cop here to serve and protect the FTR.

Now, the Villain team! Disciple of Terror, you and Mass are going to be a team that has formed to give tribute to Doomsayer. Vacant, you are the son of Cannibal, are going to have the same struggles that your father had. Ego, you're going to one of Godsend's top guys here in the FTR. Finally, Captain Crossbones we are going have you be the loner, who wrestles both heroes and villains.

By the time, we get close to the first air date of Evolution... We plan on having more wrestlers on stand-by encase we have injuries. We can't pull off something this big without you! We promise to give you every tool you need to make it in this business, but it's up to you to put it all together.

Evolution Show #1

Commissioner Encubus: Welcome to the first-ever Evolution Show! I am Encubus the Commissioner. Tonight, we will start the 16 man/woman tournament to crown the first-ever FTR Champion. The next four shows will have the matches leading up to the two finalists and at our first pay-per-view, we will have the finals. Plus, we will throw in a tag team match on each show… until the pay-per-view where we will crown our FTR Tag Team Champions.


Opening Tag Team Match
Conquerors of the Galaxy (Murtak and Mass) vs. Meteor Storm (Turk and Bart)
Murtak defeated Black Hole Bart with a vaulting neck snap at 6:33
- Murtak and Mass make quick work of Meteor Storm. Turk and Bart just couldn’t keep much offense going on their opponents and made several rookie mistakes that cost them the match.

First Round Match in the FTR Championship Tournament
Astarte vs. Disciple of Terror
Disciple of Terror defeated Astarte with an ATOMIC WARHEAD at 21:43
- Astarte had Disciple of Terror several times for a two a half count, but Terror got his shoulders up just in time. The two battles for over 20 minutes, before Terror sieges the advantage and puts away Astarte with ATOMIC WARHEAD.

First Round Match in the FTR Championship Tournament
Moonlight vs. Mayham
Moonlight defeated Mayham with a Cristo at 9:16
- The self-proclaimed “One Bad Pig” Mayham could not get any offense off against Moonlight. It took Moonlight a while to weaken Mayham down to get the victory with Cristo move.

Powerslam Power Hour
w/ Powerslam the Dino Animen

Powerslam: Hello all you Powerslam Manics! My name is Powerslam the Dino Animen! I will be the host of the Powerslam Power Hour every week. I will be hosting a special guest every week and interviewing them. This week I will be interviewing Disciple of Terror. Come on out Mr. Terror!

Disciple of Terror comes out to the ring

Powerslam: Greetings… Should I call your Disciple of Terror, Mr. Terror, Mr. Disciple?

Disciple of Terror: My name is the Disciple of Terror.

Powerslam: Okay Mr. Disciple of Terror… Why do citizens of Cygnus hate humans so much? Isn’t that being xenophobic?

Disciple of Terror: We have always hated humans and we will always hate human species! I came to the FTR to prove that I am superior to all humans no matter what planet they are from Earth, Mars, Centra, Aethra, and Titan etc.

Powerslam: Well, that’s not nice… You could do better.

Disciple of Terror: I’m not here to be nice, I’m here to win at any means necessary!

Powerslam: I hear that Comrade Terror was your idol going up? He did whatever it took to win and look what happened to him. He became an addict to compete and he died in the ring.

Disciple of Terror: Watch your tone on how you speak about Comrade Terror, the hero of Cygnus! Comrade Terror did what he had to stay competitive to keep up the fight against humans like Commander Sam. I admire the sacrifice that he made to die in the ring and became a martyr to our people.

Disciple of Terror then declares he will win the CWF Championship at all costs.


First Round Match in the FTR Championship Tournament
Ego vs. Blue Chip
Blue Chip defeated Ego with a CETUS SUPLEX at 19:10
- Ego looked strong in most of this match as they battle in and out of the ring. Blue Chip was able to make a last-minute counter on a move and turn it into his finisher CETUS SUPLEX for the three count.

First Round Match in the FTR Championship Tournament
Chameleon vs. Captain Crossbones
Captain Crossbones defeated Chameleon with a BLACK SAILS at 25:42
- Crossbones had a lot of trouble with Chameleon in this match. She put up one hell of a fight but falls short with a BLACK SAILS finisher dead center in the ring.

I had a lot of fun with FTR so thought I would go back to it a fresh. I feel like I had a better feeling for the characters than in CWF.

Great start bubba.

I wanted to use Powerslam interview card and to use it Powerslam has to be an active wrestler on the roster. Powerslam is on par with DoT so I think me might can hold his own. We will have to see how Powerslam adds to the FTR atomsphere. I did want to bring back some of the teams that worked will in my last FTR attempt like Penguins on Ice and Villains Inc.

Commissioner Encubus: Tonight, we continue the first-round matches of the FTR Championship Tournament. Just signed to the FTR is the “Baddest Man in the Universe” Billy Jo Boxer, he has held multiple boxing championships now is entering the wrestling ring to compete. Tonight, he will debut in his first match by entering his name into the FTR Championship Tournament!

First Round Match in the FTR Championship Tournament
Billy Jo Boxer vs. Vacant
Billy Jo Boxer defeated Vacant with a TKO at 4:15
- Billy Jo Boxer shows his quick and devasting hands against Vacant knocking him out with the TKO punch! Vacant couldn’t make the standard 10 count and the ref awarded the match to Billy Jo Boxer.

First Round Match in the FTR Championship Tournament
Killer Queen vs. The Loyalist
The Loyalist defeated Killer Queen with a backdrop driver at 19:38
- Killer Queen and The Loyalist put on a hard-fought match that Killer Queen was taken off his game and could not get his opponent into the BLACK WIDOW hold. The Loyalist was able to score the win off a backdrop driver.

The Natives (Ygorr and Krud) vs. Meteor Storm (Turk and Bart)
Ygorr defeated Black Hole Bart with a Nerve Clamp at 8:34
- The Natives had Meteor Storms’ number throughout the match. Turk and Bart could not get much offense off against their two opponents.

Powerslam: Hello all you Powerslam Manics! My name is Powerslam the Dino Animen! But you already know that from all the positive tweets, e-mail and comments I have gotten on my social accounts. I asked you the fans, who do you want me to interview next and with an 85% vote… You all said Billy Jo Boxer. The “Baddest Man in the Universe”, the boxing legend whose record was 58-2 wins!

Billy Jo Boxer comes out and stands next to Powerslam.

Powerslam: First, let me say welcome to the FTR and Powerslam Power Hour! After the show, do you think I can get your autograph? Next to wrestling, I’m a big fan of yours, Sir.

Billy Jo Boxer: Thanks for having me on the show and I’d be glad to sign an autograph for you. I have a question for your Powerslam… How did you like that fast knock out earlier in the night?

Powerslam: Very impressive indeed! You took out Vacant in a little over 4 minutes. I loved it when you WHAM! Him with your finisher the TKO!

Billy Jo Boxer: Thanks. The TKO is going to be the deadliest three-letter words in the FTR! These hands here are registered as lethal weapons.

Disciple of Terror comes out clapping his hands sarcastically.

Disciple of Terror: Not bad for a human from Titan. You are not even in my league! A wrestler can beat a boxer any day of the week and a Cygnusian can beat a Titan twice on Sunday.

Billy Jo Boxer: Big words for a big mouth like you… all talk and no show! Unless you care to put your money where your mouth is?

Disciple of Terror: I don’t wrestle for free so I will have to take a rain check, but maybe if you are as good as you say you are, we will meet in the finals of the tournament. But if you can’t cut it in wrestling you can always do lame Billy Jo’s grilling machine commercials.

Billy Jo Boxer: HAHAHA… I didn’t know Cynusians even had a sense of humor. You know what is funny the yellow strip going down your back. So, go take your ass back to the dressing room and when you grow a pair of testicles you come back, I’ll be here.

Powerslam vs. Prince of the Rose
Prince of the Rose defeated Powerslam with a NOT IN LINE at 17:09
- Prince of the Rose struggled at first with the strength of Powerslam, but as the match went on, he outsmarted the dino. Powerslam had the crowd behind him but it wasn’t enough to get the job done. Prince of the Rose made a great impression on his debut match.

First Round Match in the FTR Championship Tournament
Galactic Punisher vs. Paralyze
Galactic Punisher defeated Paralyze with a LIFE SENTENCE at 10:37
- The aging Paralyze put up one hell of a fight against Galactic Punisher, but just couldn’t get the job done against the Punisher. The Galactic Punisher put Paralyze away with LIFE SENTIENCE.

Rose is someone I wanted to play around within FTR. I tend to gravitate to the lower card guys and ladies than I do the Main Eventers. The lower card characters tend to have more personality to me for some strange reason.
