Filsinger Games - CWF 2116, Legends Ladies 2, Best of Mexico, and more!Back with the latest from the Filsinger Games crew. Todd and Mike chat with me about the new releases - we go particularly in depth about Future Shock: CWF 2116. Plus there's plenty to say about general updates from Fed HQ and a preview of the Beat the Bug Showdown! We also take some time to spotlight Centra characters through the years in our character spotlight. Let us know your thoughts, questions, criticisms, etc and we look forward to bringing you another new episode soon! Apple PodcastsStitcherGoogleSpotify

Another great episode! I'm really enjoying this podcast.
I like the character discussion at the end of each episode. I was always a fan of PainMaster and Sycophant, Mr. Bloat, and Scud in the Centra-verse.

My main complaint is that they don't come out enough! LOL! I really enjoy the conversations and thoughts that are explored during these podcasts. I don't get into the COTG side of things but even hearing about the thoughts for where Vampiro's stats should land and things like that was really entertaining. I'd love to listen to an occasional episode between releases just to hear the types of conversations that could be had.

Just finished this and really enjoyed it! I second pikemojo, would love to have them come out more frequently!

Thanks for the kind words and feedback! I would love to increase the frequency but so much hinges on scheduling. Of course now might be the perfect time to try to bank some material and drop a few episodes here and there in the lead up to GCon. Time will tell.
Anything in particular you would like to see discussed on future episodes that aren't centered around new releases?

Yeah the meat of the show does focus on the releases. Still I'm sure there are ideas out there including this one.
One thing I enjoy though whether it's Mike or Zeke or if it were Ty or the Legends guys is stories about signings especially when there's something interesting about how it got done.

Funny you should mention that Troy. Zeke and I spoke briefly about including more of that very thing the new time he was on. I'll have to reach out and see what his schedule is like. Maybe we could do something like that sooner rather than later!

I'll second the interest in the behind the scenes stories of signings. The other thing that I really enjoy is hearing the thought process behind how cards are statted. Not simply their strength level but sometimes there are things like Steve Corino having a much lower pin rating than most would expect due to his often bleeding during his matches.
Another question I've thought up is for the various people on the Legends and Indies teams, have there been cards that they were REALLY excited to see released? Maybe they really wanted to use it in their own personal fed, were really interested to see how promoters would use them or were excited for the family of a deceased wrestler to see the card. Whatever the reason, I thought that might be interesting to hear different perspectives.

Maybe we could do something like that sooner rather than later! Sounds good, if you want, just let me know and we can easily figure out a day and time that works for everyone involved! Lots of cool stories involving the just released Best of Mexico set I worked on including some things I did not previously mention here on the board. I have been waiting to play this latest podcast (which sounds like it is yet another great episode hosted by Sam Fain- I have drank beers with Sam in Chicago and we are very lucky to have him in our community) until after I get my cards in the mail. It sounds like this episode was especially focused on the new Centra set and I want to get my cards and look them over first since I am not as knowledgeable about COTG as many of the other members on this board. But I have always been a huge fan of Mike M's work- such as his great Early Classics set and his awesome Wrestlemania IV set- so I am very eager to try out the Centra cards soon!
